      Ah yeah; I meant to say that 2005 was the first year that some of the sets didn't have gear functions in 2005, not that some weren't made out of plastic. The point was that prior to 2005, every single set was actually bio-mechanical, and that that ceased to be the case in 2005 due to the introduction of sets that didn't include gear functions. Sorry about that.
