  1. It doesn't have to be robots: In my opinion, Mixels looked kinda close to a bionicle setting at first. Think about it: You've got different clans, all based off elements. You've got the combining idea (Like the Kaita and Nui in 2001-03). The focus is on the heroes, although the badguys are there too. You've got the different locations, all related to their elements and admittedly looking quite interesting. Then the characters themselves, all looking alien, goofy, and elemental... ...But then came the TV show. It was an epic flop from the first. It was clear this wasn't going to be another Bionicle, but more of a weird spongebob. Another epic flop of a theme in what's been a history of epic flops since Ninjago started. So it doesn't need to be robots/biomechanical beings. It just has to take the storyline seriously, at least to the extent Ninjago did.
  2. No problem. It was quick to download and I got plenty of harddrive space. Sadly the black color persists on Matoran, but a few other minor issues - such as being able to look everywhere when talking to people - seems to have disappeared. Another issue, though: I spontaneously died when I tried to talk to Ahkmou in Po-Koro. I have no idea what happened. But yeah, apart from some bugs and stuff at this early stage, I believe the game will turn out very well in the end. Hmm.. I wonder how we fixed it ast time... I'll have to ask around[]
  3. Hi ldd[] Heh, well, I guess BMP's main function is to keep Bionicle alive through media. Here it's kept alive by forums, so....[]
  4. Oh? What does the message say? We've never had any problems with downloading... I'm on Windows. Since you host on Dropbox - which usually provides plenty of hosting space - may I suggest uploading a standalone Windows and Mac version once things start working properly, so that people don't have to ask you? Saves time and makes things more accessible for everyone. Okay then, this is the standalone player: https://www.dropbox.com/sh/mi2irajj4qnix28/0JIXzaL2mM The file MN3D V1.1 Standalone (PC).exe is the one that will run the game. Please note that the player will take up slightly more space than the web player; 93 megabytes, to be exact. This is unfortunately unavoidable, and why the web player was posted first. And I asked because the PC SP is the only version that was built, we haven't got one for mac at the moment[]
  5. Hi Katuko, thanks for the comment. We have run into the materials problem before with come computers. There is a way to fix it, but you have to download the standalone player version of MN3D. Do you use a mac or a PC? I need to know because the SP build is platform specific. EDIT: Oh, and the game does bug after reloading the dying, you need to reload the actual player. It should be fixed in 1.2 []
  6. Hi all, I've been working for a while on a Unity 3D game about Bionicle, set in the Dark Times/Makuta Wars, before the coming of the toa Mata. Version 1.1 is available for download: https://www.dropbox.com/sh/5pgj4n1xskn0x6w/iTtOVtgU6B This version includes: Ga, Po and Onu-Wahi and their respective Koros. Numerous Matoran in each village. Dangerous rahi to fight. Tons of nostalgia. Some pics of gameplay: To play: 1.Click the above dropbox link. 2.Click, from the top right hand corner "Download". 3.Open the downloads folder and double click on the downloaded file. 4.Open the .hltm file to open the game. 5.The team is aware of some bugs in the game, which are going to be fixed in the next update, but any bug reports/feedback are still appreciated. V.1.2 is coming soon, so stay tuned for Ta-Wahi!
  7. Bionicle's great, isn't it?[:D]

  8. I'm interested in the Guurahk, Korahk, and the three Mata 2001 sets, but only if postage to France isn't too much.
