  1. There should hopefully be an announcement of some sort within a week or so. Definitely before Christmas. And will we know 30 winners?)
  2. Impressive built, but head, as already were mentioned, is too small for such giant. Also this MOC need more detalization (I know, it's hard for your MOC sizes), because it looks... ...separately? Also I wanted to see pictures from different angles, I wanted to see how his back was made... I know, you told, this MOC have trouble with poses, but maybe you could use props for it? Anyway impressive good MOC, wanna see more from you.
  3. Thank you! Pakari is one of the easiest mask to modify with details from early years (2001-2002), I think.
  4. I wanted to add wings and tail before I started building. But when I realized, that MOC became rather big, I understand, that it would be hard to build wings only using Lego details (because it's hard to get official Lego tissue quickly in my city). Same problem with tail — I simply had no details to build cool massive tail with lots of spikes, as I planned before construction. But you're completely right — adding wings and tail a good idea.Thank you for commenting! I added one back picture to show his spine. Also I added one additional photo. Exuse me for second post in row...
  5. Entry name: Cepheus Description: It doesn't make any sense to me to write a biography for my character as from what I've heard from NYCC this is a complete reboot of the Bionicle universe. So I want to tell you about why I decided to make it like that, to create a new design instead of making a revamp. I chose this size due to the tradition of making the main villains big and massive, like Makuta in the Mask of Light. It's a humanoid as I wanted to avoid any comparisons to Rahi and animals. This also shows its intelligence. The claws on its hands and feet as well as the spine, the big horns and its teeth were added to make it look more aggressive. I've spent a lot of time on details as all the body parts of this MOC were made from scratch. The body of the MOC is probably the only exception - the base for it is three Mata bodies. I used tons of original Bionicle parts and pieces to show that my OC was a Bionicle, I also wanted to support the LEGO designers in their effort to bring mechanisms and other Bionicle classic aspects back. I hope I've managed to do it. Photo: Gallery: https://www.flickr.com/photos/th3ch0s3n0n3/sets/72157649137186140
  6. Ah, I forgot about this rule. If it breaks rules, I can remove photos with flamethrower (if it's possible). Anyway pyro has axes.
  7. Entry #1: Name: God of Fire Entry picture: Additional photos: 12345678910111213 Entry #2:Name: PyroEntry picture: Additional pictures: https://www.flickr.com/photos/th3ch0s3n0n3/sets/72157649011934668
  8. Thank you! Thank you! Yes, I don't like using of standard Lego pieces as it was introduced in sets ("Arm" as an arm, "Inika-body" as a body, etc. The only exception is head, masks). I think, that detailed part of MOC looks cooler, than standard one. Many thanks for your comment! Thank you! Thanks a lot!)
  9. Hello everyone! Wanna show you my latest MOC, that I built for some minicontest (btw it took first place there =)). I had problems with time, so it is my "fast MOC" — 2 days to build and 1 day to photo and edit. I was inspired by movie "Meet the Pyro", a teaser about pyroman class in Team Fortress 2. Also I want to add, that it isn't an attempt to recreate original pyro from TF2, it's just a result of inspiration. ; ) Hope you enjoy. Hope to see some comments! ; ) Edit: Images substituted for slightly smaller ones; please keep embedded images in BBC to 640x640 pixels and 100 kB. -Wind-
  10. Wow, pretty cute Takua. It's very easy to recognize him, great job. I like his fingers and proportions. Hope to see more Matorans from you.
  11. Okay, now it sounds more serious, than few bad pictures. Waiting for info.
  12. Ye, I thought about adding some extra-colours, but decided to stay it black...Thank you.)
  13. Awwwwwww, so cuuute. =3 Amazing job. =^__^=
  14. Hehe, thanks, man. ^__^ Of course you can. I had some long break and didn't build for some time, so one day I decided to built something small to see what I can still do. The result was totally black matoran, I didn't know, how to call him. Pakari suits him better then other Kanohi, so I put it on and decided to see, what mask Mavrah had. SURPISE! And I called him Mavrah, cuz I like this character (and even I was so lucky with Pakari... It's a sign ^__^). Thank you for your comment. Thanks!) Ye, he's a little bit heavy.) What is "traditional Matoran build"? Do you mean official Lego-sets? Thanks) O, long post.) By the way, I wanted to add some second colour, but decided to try it next time. If you like purple, I also have some models with purple and Pakari mask - https://flic.kr/p/e9iTKu. I have black Kakama, but when I put it, I realized, that head became too small, I needed "massive" mask, so I chose Pakari. Thank you for such big answer)
  15. Hello, guys! I wanna share my latest creation, matoran Mavrah. Here is it: Hope you enjoy. By TCO.
