  1. OK, Unikitty says we have to slow down. So do Gali, Matoro, Nokama, and a lot of others who fear the break up of BZPower. (Kopaka says he's neither nor there about it -wait, he didn't- but just ignore him for now.) So far I've seen some pretty logical... discussions... from either end of the spectrum. Personally, before even reading them, I feel more inclined to trust those who make countless quotes and debate them. It shows they're at least trying to understand the quoted and counter argue. I also like when bones suggests putting the other person's argument in your own words and explaining why you don't agree. It's nice. It's polite. It keeps things from getting out of hand and people from losing their warm and fuzzy feeling inside. Like me. I think we should just forget everything in that whirlwind on page 1 and 2. So how 'bout a theory to tear apart and eat for dinner and that all of you can agree is equally silly. Perhaps proto can only replicate those elements put into it --metal, fire/plasma/lava, rock, water, plantlife, --and some how come out with physical similarities to whatever element. I know we really haven't seen lots of protodermis with other elemental traits, but, I just thought the idea might be intriguing. Another thing: Somehow I got the impression that many people may think Mata Nui (Location) had real actual trees and stuff. I wouldn't be surprised at all if you're right, but in my opinion, it would be weird for a robot who consists entirely of protodermis "cells" would suddenly be able to generate something completely organic (regular organic). I would think it would be like growing lava for hair. Not impossible, I suppose. Just highly improbable.
  2. Well... we kind of got a canon view of that. They lived in Karda-Nui on fallen stalactites (mites? I dunno anymore). They had simple villages, but I feel like it was a fitting setting considering it was the heart/core of Mata-Nui and had a bright setting with giant water falls and bright lights. I meant on Spherus Magna. Maybe they could cultivate light vines somewhere or something.
  3. Oooh, this will be fun. Fa-Matoran could settle (at least on SM) near the poles. For transportation to other villages, they could hook up with a Toa of Magnetism and design a metal mechanism. From there the Matoran would get in and the Toa would pull them to the other pole until they reach wherever they're going (at least in the absense of chutes). Ba-Matoran could live in a floating village low enough air is thick but high enough gravity is slightly different. As soon as a Toa of Gravity erased most of the Gravity underneath the village. To get back down to earth, the Toa would return Gravity at a controlled speed until they get to the ground. Fe-Matoran, in my opinion, could live in a iron giant quarry, in houses in the sides. De-Matoran could live on the plains as Reginui said. Vo-Matoran could dwell on a massive carpet . As for the Ba-Matoran, obviously they would be in a jungle, the Ce-Matoran could live in the other villages, De-Matoran somewhere isolated, Su-Matoran, somewhere isolated, and Su-Matoran in a star or something. Nothing new on those fronts. All that being said, as Mr. Farshtey said, real-life physics don't apply, and there could very well be enivironments perfectly suited for these elements. Edit: I have no ideas what an Av-Matoran settlement could be.
  4. If the Toa could find a way to tap the resources of the Red Star, their warriers can come back, leaving Bionicle with only one weakness. But then, I think we all kinda expected that. Also, as someone said earlier, there are a few hundred Toa in the backstory, and, again if they mastered the Red Star, you would have the Toa army of the Toa-Dark Hunter War. Finally, depending on how quickly the Great Beings could put out giant robots and how soon Makuro would run out of quaza resources, the Great Beings could outlast Makuro. Especially since quaza is extremely rare and the Great Beings could raid other planets for the metal they need. And protodermis is renewable.
  5. What about vehicles? I know that at least info on pounds of thrust, speed, etc. are out there on some Bionicle vehicles. I haven't checked about Hero Factory. Oh, and I say Bionicle. Who here doesn't?
  6. All of the creatures in the transformation were of species with bad reputations (or at least not good ones)--the Zyglak vengeful outcasts; the Vorixx of whose species came Roodaka; and the dumb slaves of Stelt. And the Piruka. So the resulting creature wouldn't be good as he seemed in Sahmad's Tale (unless nine wrongs really do make a right). The resulting creature would be a three-ninths dumb, three-ninths crafty, and three-ninths just-evil. And also, I don't get how any of them would've known about Annona's species anyway, which doesn't make sense for the Zaktan-controled theory or the combination-controled theory. But if Irnakk really was real and created by the Great Beings on Spherus Manga, he could've known. Just saying.
  7. What would he have done? His plan was to "crush whole worlds beneath his feet". He had his mental powers for keeping order in his universe, he had Rahkshi and Skakdi for invasion forces. Unless there are yet more secrets of the Bionicle universe, that's all he really needed to achieve his dream. And, as always, I'm open to fresh ideas or things I haven't thought of.
  8. You're right. But then, why would Teridax use his soldiers to design something with no apparent use toward him? With all his might and power, he could make his own dreams come true.
  9. First of all, I always thought that the Entity didn't necessarily have control over what came out of his creations and thus his curiousity toward all his creations in Maze of Shadows. Secondly, I just thought that the greenish cloud diving into the pool was Makuta Teridax's or some other Makuta's attempt to keep himself alive as he realized he was about to die at the hands of, respectively, Mata Nui or Makuta. The possibility of it being Teridax is reinforced when it says that Makuta put the idea for Goldie in the Skakdi's heads.
