  1. I was inspired by this image (created by our very own Crunchyn) to write this, and I also decided to add a holiday twist. Enjoy!

Ingredients from the jungles of Le-Wahi…

    Water from Ga-Koro’s purist spring…

Heated in the fires of Ta-Wahi's largest volcano, and preserved using the coals of Onu-Koro…

Or cooled in the coldest caverns of Ko-Koro to keep you going on the hottest day in Po-Wahi…

Chronicler’s Coffee is here for you!

We’ve traveled all over Mata Nui to find the best ways to make the coffee you love, and serve in every nook and cranny of the island. Even the Makuta cannot stop us from sharing our coffee. In fact, he can’t resist it at all. How many other coffee shops can lay claim to pleasing the Makuta? That’s right: no one can!

This Naming Day Eve, we’re giving out one free cup of Johmak to everyone who comes in our doors, because we don’t want anyone to feel like they don’t belong. (pause) Toa get a free Box of Johmak, too!

So what are you waiting for? Make the holidays better with help from Chronicler’s Coffee!

  2. My goodness, Hathos' forearms are brilliant.  I would never have thought of that, but it looks fantastic.  I'm not sure the big tan shields were really necessary, though. Those bulky forearms look like they don't need protection.  Maybe switch the gold fingers to silver if you have the parts?  Silver shin armor might help the color scheme as well. Great character concept.

Notu and Zatto look simple but well done.

I fixed that for you. :P

I did end up putting some of the new silver armor shell add-ons on the shins, and it makes Hatho look loads bulkier, which I love! Now to get not-gold fingers...

I must agree with Obsessionist. Hatho's forearms are very clever, indeed, if simple. It's the simplicity of them that makes it so ingenius! Never seen it done before, and it works well here! That's a thing I've noticed about your MOCs--they're generally fairly simple in execution, but your choices of color and parts gives each model such a nice style and appearance that it more than makes up for it. :) Excellent work!

Big and cluttered =/= best, my good sir!

My style is that small and simple are great when it looks great. ;)

  3. I have a few MOCs that I never got around to posting this year, even though I had previously intended to do so, so I decided to include a few here. I may add more, but for now, I bring to you:

  4. So! How is everyone faring so far? I plan on sending out reminder PMs around the 16th or 17th. And, just as a reminder for how to go about things, please try to PM your recipient with the gift first, even if you plan on posting it after.

I already have the base setup for my gift, I just need to execute the full plan. I could release it as is, but I'd like to make it something special for the receiver and the rest of the viewing audience. I should hopefully be able to complete the full project after finals are done this coming week.

  5. Me several years ago:
"I'd like to give this guy a different mask..."

    Later...

"I only have one mask in that color, and it's the one I have here..."

    After reminiscing...

"I wish I had gotten [insert set here] when I had the chance..."  -_-
