  1. IC: Banar

Banar's attempt at slashing the Le-Skakdi failed, though that was the least of his concerns at that moment.  The wall that held Gerox had just broken, and nobody could tell who did it.

Was there another Skakdi or something? he thought, completely forgetting that he had brought an unconscious toa inside the cave just a short while prior.

  2. IC: Banar

Banar was struck by the Skakdi's broadsword, which scratched his armor and knocked him down to the ground.

Banar moaned in pain as he lay on the ground.  He then began to get up slowly, using his spear to hold his weight.  "I won't give up this easily!"

Banar then attempted to slash the Skakdi with the sharp blade of his spear.

    OOC: Same here.

  3. IC: Banar

Banar, still leaning on his spear, slowly loosened his grip on it as he found the strength to stay up.

Well, this'll be a bit more difficult, Banar thought.  He focused his gaze on the Le-Skakdi, who did indeed look stronger than his henchmen.

Well, if I defeated his henchmen, perhaps I have a chance against this guy? he thought to himself.

What are you talking about!?  Of course you can beat him!

    Oh yeah, I can.

  4.

Amazon had a $5 digital album sale :o

So I got City by Strapping Young Lad, Ocean Machine: Biomech by Devin Townsend, Serpents Unleashed by Skeletonwitch and Elements of the Infinite by Allegaeon.

I've been sporadically buying albums from the sale for the past couple weeks, I've dropped $50 on it altogether so far. I normally prefer to stick to hard copies as much as possible but a sale that huge is hard to pass up, especially when a lot of the albums are way cheaper than they'd be in any physical format.

really excellent selection of albums you got there, too.

Yeah thanks!  I tend to stream a lot of my music with Google Music, though whenever I can I try to buy albums.  And yes, $5 for an album is too much for me to pass up.  I do intend on buying CDs, though.

  5. IC: Banar

Before he saw what was coming Banar was struck with a laser which barely went through him; it did graze him a bit though.

As he leaned on his spear in pain, Banar attempted to use his elemental powers to increase the gravity around the Skakdi in an effort to crush him, though not to the point of being squished, but enough to harm it.

  6. IC: Banar

Banar noticed that the Skakdi that had attacked him didn't know where he was.  He saw an opportunity to, so he attempted to kick the Skakdi to the ground (for injuries' sake, though also for comedic effect).

  7. IC: Banar

Banar was caught off-guard and was knocked down to the ground.  One of the daggers pierced his armor and cut his shoulder as the Skakdi pinned him down.

"Oww, didn't your mother ever tell you not to play with knives!?" Banar exclaimed as his mask started glowing again.  He teleported a bit futher away, though not by much, as his mask limited his teleportation range to his field of view.  He tightened his grip on his spear as he gritted his teeth in pain (though his mask blocked it).

I hope something comes along and helps me-

Shut up brain!  You're a Toa; a strong Toa!

    Oh yeah...

He sometimes argued with himself mentally...

  8. IC: Nekka

"I suppose we could." Nekka said in response to Londar.  "What do you think Ashala?"

OOC: Fine by me, I suppose.  Not sure if it's against the rules or anything though

  9. IC: Banar

"Wha-?" Banar said when the first Skakdi's weapon froze.

As the second Skakdi ran over towards him, Banar attempted to manipulate gravity so that the Skakdi would fly over him and fall to the ground.  I hope this works!

  10. IC: Banar

"I'll get you out of there as soon as possible!" Banar yelled.

His look became determined as he gazed at the three Skakdi.  Three against one.  I'm dead... Banar thought.  After only a short time of being a Toa, this is how he dies?  He felt it was too early.  Much too early.  That said he readied himself for a conflict, his sharp gaze focused on the three Skakdi.  He wasn't one to back out of a battle, though that didn't mean he was good at fighting either.

  11. IC: Banar

    Uh oh.  What-do-I-do-what-do-I-do!?!?!

Banar's Kualsi started to glow as he looked at the entrance to the cave and teleported straight ahead to it.  He then attempted to use his elemental power of gravity to trip the Skakdi as he said to Gerox, "Hurry!  Get out while you can!"

  12. IC: Banar

"Well... okay.  Erm..."  Banar was surprised by the appearance of the three Skakdi.  He knew he could get out quickly with his Kualsi, but it wouldn't solve the issue of Gerox and the unconscious Toa.

"Well then, guess we might have a problem." Banar said as he slightly adjusted his stance.

"Why do you care about us?  We've got nothing.  Well, almost nothing.  I've got this spear, but that's it."

  13. IC: Banar

"Yep, knew it.  We've got company." Banar said as the cave was illuminated.  He held his spear with both hands as he turned around towards the light.

"Better idea, how about we just pretend this never happened and just let us go?  How about that?"  Banar replied, a cocky tone to his voice.

  14. IC: Banar

Upon being told that the cave had prior inhabitants, Banar took his spear out.  "Just in case anyone wants to try anything." he whispered to Gerox.  He had no intention of getting into a fight, but if that time comes, at least he was prepared for it.

  15. IC: Moku

Moku got up from his bed in his home in Ta-Koro and slowly walked outside, still tired from sleep (or lack of).  He examined the sky carefully, and judging by the location of the sun and the shade of blue the sky was, he had slept quite late.  Typical for an isolated Ta-Matoran who spends all his time at home.

Ugh, another one of these lazy days for me...  Actually no, I'm going to go for a walk around the Koro.  I've gotta do something!

Moku grabbed his sword (because he didn't know what was out there; he assumed danger could be lurking around the corner), put it on a strap on his back, and began walking outside further into Ta-Koro.  He rarely left his home, mostly because he was too scared to.  Not that there was anything particularly dangerous around the Koro, just that he had an extreme case of social anxiety that led him to become pretty much paralyzed whenever someone spoke to him, and unfortunately he didn't know of any medicine that could remedy that.  As he walked through the Koro, he looked at all the sights, which interested him due to his isolation.  Sightseeing was his pastime, and as much as he hated to admit it, you don't see many sights from a secluded home in Ta-Koro.

    OOC: Open for interaction

  16. IC: Banar

"Good idea.  Let's just make sure it's somewhat secluded; I've heard too many tales about bad things happening in the desert."  Banar said.  His paranoia was still bothering him, though he did not cease ignoring it.

What am I acting so paranoid for?  Let's just find a good spot and rest.

  17. IC: Gerox and Skebran

On the way back to Po-Koro, the two encountered a group of thieves. They were three skakdi, one was visibly superior than the other two. One carried a staff, the other on an axe, and the last one a broadsword. The leader was a Le-Skakdi while the other two were Po-skakdi.

It didn't took long for them to spot Banar and Gerox, and soon they headed their way.

    IC: Banar

As Gerox and Banar walked back to Po-Koro, Banar sensed some eyes on him.  Probably just my imagination.

'Twas a misjudgement on his part, since there was a group of Skakdi following them.  He just didn't notice them.

  18. Wow, this is amazing!  Definitely looks like a plausible 2015 set that LEGO would release.  I really like the weapon design in particular.  It really does fit the weapon style the protectors utilize.  Overall a job well done!  Now if only LEGO could make individual villagers/matoran canon...
