  1. Wow, been a *long* time since I updated this, but I still exist. Mostly on Discord now, but I'm alive.

  2. They came from the set Cendox V1, which was part of the Summer Glatorian wave.
  3. Well, the basic formula has served them quite well. At the same time, they HAVE innovated on that formula in a number of ways. LEGO CIty Undercover opted for an open-world, GTA-style game design and introduced a lot of gameplay mechanics based on the Wii U gamepad (since it was exclusive to that system). LEGO Ninjago: Shadow of Ronin introduced a Spinjitzu mechanic that lets you defeat enemies and solve puzzles, as well as "scrap builds" where you collect segments of a model throughout a level and then assemble them. And now LEGO Dimensions is introducing a number of game mechanics based around the Toy Pad itself, like the ability to warp your character to different positions on the map, change their size, or grant them different elemental powers. My family hasn't gotten a lot of the more conventional licensed games so I can't really tell you what any of those might do to break away from the typical gameplay patterns of LEGO games, but I'm sure most of them have their own share of new gameplay mechanics to mix things up. Well, I'm glad to see they haven't simply just kept releasing the same game over and over again with cosmetic differences. Maybe I'll try LEGO Dimensions, but then again it's still quite out of my price range D:
  4. Ehhh... On one hand I applaud the effort made to make a LEGO game with the toy-based system that's made Skylanders and Disney Infinity hits. But on the other... I am REALLY unsure as to how/why Tt keeps making LEGO games the way they do. Correct me if I'm wrong, but it really seems like they're rehashing the same formula over and over again. Then again, I haven't played many of the newer games, so I have no idea.
  5. Well, little update. I've been back home for several weeks now, getting better with anxiety and such. Plus I got my G2 collection back (damaged in fire) + added the Summer wave to my collection.

  6. It's alright, I guess? Not too crazy on it, but it's okay. The person below me is using Windows (the OS).
  7. That mouth... AMAZING! That aside, a really simple yet solid build! Well done!
  8. Hahah, I can't unsee that now. Stellar work on recreating quite an obscure BIONICLE entity! The use of Keetorange really works well here, especially with the blue feet and pahrak shields.
  9. Dang... And I still haven't gotten my Wave 1 collection back... RIP Bank Account.
  10. Man, you're right! I love those games. About the mask itself... Amazing piece of art. Knowing that the patterns were brushed onto it really makes it more impressive. Well done!
  11. Wow, over three months since a new status update. Well, here we go- house-fire-that-was-very-minor-yet-displace-my-family-and-me, anxiety/PTSD resulting from that, aaaaannnnddd..... Yeah, that pretty much sums it up.

  12. I honestly expected a Cyber-Emmet from the title, but an Emmet-Tron crossover looks cool as well!
  13. Well, this is interesting! Shame that it's quite expensive, but I can definitely see myself buying this if I had the funds! PS: Did anyone else see the WMKK for sale under recommended? Or was it just me?
  14. Ignoring the typical Candy Crush/Angry Birds games that people play on their phones, a lot of phones are now very graphically capable of running such games like these. The graphics that phones nowadays have can easily compete with last-gen consoles such as PS3 and Xbox 360. In a way, of course. Just don't expect that cheap $100 Net10 phone from a Wal-Mart to be able to run such a game though, hahah
  15. Darn... I really want this as well... Guess it's just not meant to be. D:
  16. I'm really sorry to hear that. At least they're easily replaceable, and not relics like the gen1 sets. Yeah, that's fortunate. Plus I've still got the benefit of recovering select parts, notably the masks
  17. Well, I got all my sets back guys, and bad news. It was more than just Tahu and Lewa that melted. Almost everyone melted at one point or another, some worse than others. In addition, there are some deep soot stains on their parts that, honestly, I don't think I have the effort nor patience to clean (Most notably on PoI and Kopaka). So unfortunately I'll have to buy back my G2 collection. There are individual parts I can recover, though those are few and far between. Quite an unfortunate turn of events. I'll try to get some pictures soon.
  18. Wow, happening on my birthday, hahah. Not so sure if I'll be going to this, though. I'm not a huge Ninjago fan, to be honest (not that I dislike it or anything - I just never really got into it), and I'll probably have birthday plans.
  19. Yeah, I've noticed that as well. It seems to be based off the HF Titan build pre-2013 style, and as much as I dislike it, I have to say you pull it off nicely here what with filling up the legs and such! Well done!
  20. Well, a lot of the useful armor pieces were melted on the ccbs armor shells, as was the chest piece,so unfortunately the only salvageable parts aren't too exciting.
  21. Well, a lot of the parts are probably salvageable, so I'll probably take those. At the same time, though, the useful armor shells and such were melted into place, so unfortunately I've little to work with.
  22. Well, I don't think they're gonna go that far with him, hahah. I'm assuming they may find him to be junk or something. Then again, I've no idea. To be honest, when I first saw that picture, I thought that only his mask was missing, and that's an easy fix, right? But yeah, I'm assuming he's got some explaining to do regarding his title of "Master of Fire".
  23. You know, I'm not quite sure yet. I never really thought of it... Yeah, that might be something I'm interested in doing. Or something along those lines. He's still in my room, though it's really up to the insurance company at this point.
