  1. IC: Banar Upon being told that the cave had prior inhabitants, Banar took his spear out. "Just in case anyone wants to try anything." he whispered to Gerox. He had no intention of getting into a fight, but if that time comes, at least he was prepared for it.
  2. IC: Moku Moku got up from his bed in his home in Ta-Koro and slowly walked outside, still tired from sleep (or lack of). He examined the sky carefully, and judging by the location of the sun and the shade of blue the sky was, he had slept quite late. Typical for an isolated Ta-Matoran who spends all his time at home. Ugh, another one of these lazy days for me... Actually no, I'm going to go for a walk around the Koro. I've gotta do something! Moku grabbed his sword (because he didn't know what was out there; he assumed danger could be lurking around the corner), put it on a strap on his back, and began walking outside further into Ta-Koro. He rarely left his home, mostly because he was too scared to. Not that there was anything particularly dangerous around the Koro, just that he had an extreme case of social anxiety that led him to become pretty much paralyzed whenever someone spoke to him, and unfortunately he didn't know of any medicine that could remedy that. As he walked through the Koro, he looked at all the sights, which interested him due to his isolation. Sightseeing was his pastime, and as much as he hated to admit it, you don't see many sights from a secluded home in Ta-Koro. OOC: Open for interaction
  3. IC: Banar "Good idea. Let's just make sure it's somewhat secluded; I've heard too many tales about bad things happening in the desert." Banar said. His paranoia was still bothering him, though he did not cease ignoring it. What am I acting so paranoid for? Let's just find a good spot and rest.
  4. IC: Banar As Gerox and Banar walked back to Po-Koro, Banar sensed some eyes on him. Probably just my imagination. 'Twas a misjudgement on his part, since there was a group of Skakdi following them. He just didn't notice them.
  5. Wow, this is amazing! Definitely looks like a plausible 2015 set that LEGO would release. I really like the weapon design in particular. It really does fit the weapon style the protectors utilize. Overall a job well done! Now if only LEGO could make individual villagers/matoran canon...
  6. IC: Nekka "Good idea." Nekka replied. "But where exactly is that? Not very familiar with locations here at all..."
  7. IC: Banar Banar began to walk over towards the toa. Guess I'll have to carry him. He began to pick up the toa, a task that was not easy for him. He almost fell over while lifting up the toa, though he managed to stay up. "Alright, I've got him. Let's go." Banar said.
  8. IC: Nekka "Then what shall we do? We can't just leave the news of Ko-Koro's fall untold." Nekka said to Ashala. "Is there anyone we can tell?" she asked. "Or anything we can do?"
  9. IC: Banar Banar rushed over to where the turaga was and saw an unconscious black-armored toa. Hmmm, should I approach him? "What do you suggest we do?" Banar asked. He hadn't been a toa for long, so he was quite inexperienced with situations like this. He didn't want to admit this upfront, though. After all, he was a toa, so he must have been strong and experienced! Or so he thought...
  10. IC: Banar "Alright. And I'm Banar." Banar said. Well, I guess this is something. Banar began following Gerox towards the coast of Po-Wahi.
  11. IC: Banar Banar ceased his training with rocks and boulders and looked towards Po-Koro. Well, I can always continue my training later, Banar thought. His Kanohi Kualsi, the same dark metallic gold shade as most of his armor, started to glow as his eyes narrowed toward the gates of Po-Koro. Within an instant he teleported to the gates of Po-Koro and walked through, putting his spear on his back. Still bored. Is there anything to do?? OOC: Open for interaction
  12. IC: Banar In the desolate desert of Po-Wahi, one could hear stones and boulders being dropped down again and again, with no obvious nor subtle pattern towards them. It scared away some nearby rahi, but for the most part it was empty. One of the rocks was lifted up before sitting still floating in the air. Then a sharp blade of a spear cut cleanly through it as the two halves of the rock fell down to the ground. Another rock was lifted a bit higher and was then was flung into the distance. "Starting to get the hang of this, hahah." Banar, a Toa of Gravity clad in dark metallic gold and brown armor, stood alone in the desert. In one hand he carried nothing; the other a sharpened spear. It could cut through rock easily, which was a plus for Banar's training. He had only recently become a Toa, after all, so he figured he might as well try to hone his abilities. Jeez, it's so boring out here, Banar thought. There's gotta be something else I can do. OOC: Open for interaction
  13. IC: Ashala "Just calm down Nekka," Ashala said. "It's in your head, as long as you dont hurt anyone they have no reason to fear you. Love will overcome any hate, remember that." The guard now lead them to the Marine HQ. She approached the front door with the injured Londar. "I have grave information, about an attack ok Ko-Koro." She told the Marine guard. IC: Nekka Nekka opened her eyes and, to her relief, nobody was staring at her. Her viselike grip on her body loosened significantly as her arms relaxed and her uncomfortable expression went away. Maybe Ga-Koro isn't a judgemental place? Nekka thought. Still, though, she kept her hands together in an effort to look polite as she followed Ashala and Londar through the building.
  14. IC: Nekka "Wha- oh, well, I'm nervous here. I think the matoran here are afraid of me, or worse, they're judging me." Nekka said to Ashala. She had caught more matoran staring at her in fear or judgement, and it was really upsetting her. I hope nobody reports me or anything, Nekka thought to herself. She was afraid of her race's reputation. As she kept up with Ashala her fears began piling up on her as she closed her eyes tightly, peeking out of one eye just to make sure she didn't walk into any sort of danger. I'm so scared, she thought. Unbeknownst to her, the matoran that were staring at her started to divert their attention from her, as if they knew that their judgmental gazing was making her uncomfortable.
  15. IC: Ashala and NPC The Toa of water turnee to make sure Nekka was following her, the guards at the gate of Ga-Koro recognized her. One of them arched a brow at Londar who was in her arms. "Please somethinr awful has happened, can you lead us to the Marine HQ?" She asked. The guard nodded his mask. "Right this way." IC: Nekka As Nekka walked through the gates of Ga-Koro, she looked in awe at the buildings. She hadn't seen any structures like these in a while, if she had seen any in the first place. She caught a matoran staring at her in fear, or was it judgement? She wrapped her arms around her body; a fearful look beginning to form on her face. Well, I guess Ashala's one of a kind... Nekka closed her eyes for a moment, holding back a single tear, before opening her eyes, all while keeping up with Ashala. Her arms still clutched to her body, fearful of judgement over her race.
  16. IC: Nekka Nekka began following Ashala toward the gates Ga-Koro. I hope the matoran in Ko-Koro are alright... Nekka thought to herself. She was terribly concerned about the situation.
  17. IC: Nekka Nekka sighed as Ashala told her that going to Ko-Koro meant suicide. After all, she knew that whatever was strong enough to take over one of the islands' six main villages must have been strong. Her attention shifted towards the matoran that Ashala had healed. Poor guy, she thought, who would harm these people? And what for? Nekka closed her eyes for a moment as she pondered to herself. What can I do to help? she thought. "Is there anything we can do?" Nekka said to Ashala and Londar. Nekka truly wanted to help in any way. That's just how she is. Even for matoran standards she's really kind.
  18. Man, these are really awesome. I still keep looking back at these to see what's new (if anything).
  19. IC: Ashala The Ga-Toa healer turned towards the Skakdi, she had forgotten for a moment that Nekka was so new to the island. Ko-Koro is a village like Ga-Koro. Except it is the village of ice. We have six villages on this island for each of the six main elements, and then a few smaller side villages. Apparently Ko-Koro has been overrun by bad people, people who follow the Lord of Shadows, Makuta. They have taken the village prisoner, at least those it seems that haven't killed." she knew this wasn't what Nekka wanted to hear. "Mata Nui isn't all fun Nekka, there is a darkness to this island and it is filled with many good people, but equally as many bad." IC: Nekka "Oh dear..." Nekka quietly said to herself. Not even a day on this island and already trouble's found its way... "Is there anything we can do about it?" Nekka asked; a concerned gaze upon her visage. She wanted to help badly, yet she knew that whatever overran Ko-Koro must've been powerful, perhaps too powerful.
  20. IC: Nekka Nekka overheard the dialogue about Ko-Koro. "Ko-Koro?" Nekka muttered to herself, in fear of being judged for not knowing a major village of the island. She got up and wiped her drawing in the sand clean. "Excuse me, but what is Ko-Koro, and what has happened to it?" Nekka had concern in her voice as she correctly inferred that Ko-Koro was a village. She had no idea, however, of the significance that it served.
  21. IC: Ashala As Ashala and Nekka were not far from the gates just to the village she was able to see Londar collapse. She turned to her skakdi friend. "I'll be right back." She said before summoning her mask of speed. She was gone in a blur of speed, rushing to his side before picking him up and returning a minute later before laying him in the sand. "He's injured," she said. "I'll do my best to heal him." She opened her med-kit and began pulling out healing herbs and bandages, along with a needle some thread and disinfectant. OOC: Apologies for the (somewhat) late response IC: Nekka Nekka was puzzled as to where Ashala had gone, as she hadn't seen Londar collapse to the ground. After a minute, Ashala returned with Londar. Wait, did Ashala mention that she was a healer? Nekka thought to herself as she saw Ashala take out her med-kit and pull out supplies. As Ashala was doing that, Nekka sat down nearby and began drawing more patterns into the sand with her sharp fingernail. One of which patterns was a Kanohi, of which Nekka desired. She didn't care if she couldn't use it; all that mattered to her was that she had one.
  22. IC: Ashala Ashala was surprised by the outburst and then Nekka's break down. She handnt been excepting it. She bent down and pulled Nekka into a hug. "Shh." She said soothingly. "Don't hate what you are, hate what you used to be. It's not your race that defines you but your actions. You need to let it go, we do things we detest, we all make mistakes but you can't confine to torture yourself inside for what you did before." Ashala said. IC: Nekka Nekka slowly got up as Ashala comforted her. "I'm sorry about that outburst." Nekka said calmly. "I really am; that was a bit uncalled for." I can't believe I did that, especially in front of someone. Nekka thought to herself. "I've not been having a great time recently. I've become self-conscious about myself, and as unfortunate as that sounds, it's true. I really hope to turn a new leaf and make something out of myself." Nekka said as her smile was slowly coming back. "You're right, it's not my race, it's my actions that define me, and I hope I can make myself known in a more positive light." Nekka's smile had slowly returned as she got up and started following Ashala. "Now, where were we?" IC: Ashala Ashala got up and then skipped backwards through the sand, "Well maybe I can help with that," the healer said playfully. "Get you having some fun, get your mind off your thoughts and find a way to prove to yourself you're worth something." IC: Nekka "That'd be great! I've been thinking about myself too much, I suppose it's time to just let it all go and have some fun!" Nekka said in agreement to Ashala's suggestion. Nekka's smile grew a bit more. "So, what can we do?" IC: Ashala "How does a bonfire sound and some dancing?" Ashala smiled, as she suddenly had an idea. IC: Nekka "A bonfire you say? Well... okay." Nekka replied, sounding a bit nervous. "But I'm a bit afraid of fire you see; I've once gotten a pretty bad burn before. I'm fine with a little ember, though. As long as it doesn't get too outta control."
  23. IC: Ashala Ashala was surprised by the outburst and then Nekka's break down. She handnt been excepting it. She bent down and pulled Nekka into a hug. "Shh." She said soothingly. 25. IC: Nekka "Ah... yes, I'm not like the other Skakdi at all. Well, not anymore at least." Nekka sighed to herself; her smile was slowly fading as her eyes welled up with tears. Bad memories were getting to her. She was never the most murderous Skakdi there was, but to say she hadn't done her part was inaccurate. "I've done things I'm not proud of. In fact, I often cry about what I've done." She then stop walking. Then she broke down in tears as she fell on the ground. Her hands covered her face. The face of a Skakdi. The face of a race she detested with all her heart. "I hate who I am!" She screamed as she got up and used her laser vision at the water, which subsequently splashed violently in response. She fell back down to the ground, sobbing quietly. OOC: Clarifying my stance on interaction. I'm quite open for it, especially for this violent (and emotional) scene.
