  1. IC: Leonn - Ko-Metru (Briefing) Keeping it simple. Rather professional for a foot soldier. He nodded, having gathered a decent amount of intel in his time here. "Hunters are currently after Dume's head. I assume the various Toa sprawling around this place are on the move to stop that. The city's weak, in another words. Without a head, the body can't function. Dead or not, on the run Turaga Dume isn't going to be much help to his general populace." Leonn explained, rubbing the scar on his temple idly. "However, you have the Vahki to deal with in the mean time, which I don't doubt will be one of your objectives to help clear out. The hive is long due for a purge." OOC: @Nato the Traveler
  2. IC: Leonn - Ko-Metru (Conversating) "Partially, though you have Nidhiki and Nuju to thank for the logistics." He smirked, letting go of the hand after a firm shake, his posture ever confident yet smidges of curiosity dotted all over his expression. "Leonn Arkkan. Might I know your name?" OOC: @Nato the Traveler
  3. IC: Leonn - Ko-Metru (Meeting a soldier) "...No. Apologies, I haven't had the pleasure." He lowered his shades, offering a hand to shake. "Welcome to Metru-Nui."
  4. IC: Kovac Krossfari - Coliseum (Concussed) A large blurry shadow walked away from Kovac Krossfari's peripheral vision. Matoran asked questions, but he all he could respond with was involuntary groans and incoherent mumbles. Something soft wrapped around his number hand. He lay, in limbo outside conciousness. IC: Leonn - Ko-Metru (Greeting The Army) Despite already knowing how powerful the portal's prospects were, Leonn couldn't help but whistle as an army was transported right into the warehouse in Ko-Metru. A mutated creature, resembling a Toa came through the breach. Zaliyah might catch Leonn giving her an odd look, unfamiliar with the species but seemingly interested. OOC: @Nato the Traveler
  5. IC: Kovac Krossfari - Coliseum (In A Bad Spot) "...Gnnngh....." The taste of copper spattered all over the vigilante's mouth. Metal bones twisted in unnatural ways, and a horrible ringing assaulted his head. An elevator door continously opened and closed, an outstretched arm laying on the floor blocking it from fully shutting. Part of the elevator's roof painfully sat on Kovac Krossfari's body, pinning him down. He wasn't sure what floor he'd ended up on.
  6. IC: Thom - Coliseum (Delivering The Disk) The Skakdi had wolfed down two noodle dishes quite ravenously, and was already looking a little better physically. He was still skinny and unkempt, but he looked less on the verge of passing out. As they entered the Coliseum, multiple thoughts were racing through the Skakdi's head. Some of it was anxiety around the Vahki, but a good chunk of it was wonder at where his Fa-Toa nemesis might be. He could just about deduce things were heating up in Metru-Nui, and the past few days had awakened a very odd sense of fate. He could almost sense that Nale would also arrive at the Coliseum, the epicentre of whatever was about to kick off. But for now, he'd stick with the disk hunters. He'd stick with the disk hunters, and he'd wait. "...Thanks fer gettin' me somethin' to eat." He said, finally, as the four waited.
  7. IC: Thom - Ga-Metru (Journey's End) Before long, the ship had arrived at the docks of Ga-Metru. Thom looked brighter at this, having finally got to his destination after days of travelling. "Home, sweet home!" He grinned, happily.
  8. IC: Leonn - Ko-Metru (Legalizing Nationalised Transport) "Not to worry, my fellow freedom enthusiast." He reassured Nuju, after typing up a single message to his employer: "Door's up. Ready to see you whenever, xx" He twirled the compact IStone in his hand after sending the message, grinning triumphantly. "We are on." For some reason, Leonn had truthfully never envisioned the League's invasion and how it might look. This was getting beyond his own predictions. It was both exhilarating and terrifying. He wasn't sure what his next step would be.
  9. IC: Leonn - Ko-Metru (Staging) He took the crystal, inspecting it in his claws. That comment Nuju made was odd. Head to chest? Was that a Matoran expression he wasn't aware of? "Gladly." He replied to Nidhiki, shaking his confusion off. Leonn promptly approached the terminal with excited trepidation, and gingerly slotted the memory crystal into the open socket that was waiting.
  10. IC: Leonn - Ko-Metru (Going To Meet Nuju) A subtle chuckle at Nidhiki's jest. Too old, and too short for me, I'm afraid. Following his contact, Leonn felt a very odd sense of unease around him, an odd noise at the edge of his auditory peripheral. He shook his head, focusing on the mission at hand. Presumably this Nuju was an insider that Nidhiki knew. Though, as always, Leonn had to be prepared for a trap of some kind. Amber eyes glimmered curiously. "My employer tells me of a portal you are supposed to be responsible for?" IC: Thom - Ga Metru Bay (This Is Getting Old) "Ah'll be honest, ah dunno wot ah'm seein' at this point. Feels like ah'm sleepin'. I need somethin' to drink."
  11. IC: Thom - Ga Metru Bay (After The Storm) "You lot fancy goin' for somethin' to munch on? I mean, ah reckon ah'm not gonna last much longer if ah don't." The Skakdi suggested, draping his blanket over him again.
  12. IC: Leonn - Ko-Metru (Contact) Leonn frowned a little at the comment, but lowered his shades to get a good look at the Turaga. It certainly was him, in the metal and flesh. "Issues with some rogue Dark Hunters. It seems they've been appropiately dealt with." He explained. Nidhiki didn't need the details, nor did he care, most likely. The Skakdi seemed to be the only agent under Takadox's employ that had any actual curiosity. "Turaga Nidhiki, I presume?" He didn't presume, truthfully. He knew. If he hadn't been sure, he wouldn't have opened with his small talk about the Dark Hunters.
  13. IC: Thom - Ga-Metru Bay (Utterly Useless) "Ah....maybe? Ta be honest, ah never went ta check." He was still staring, and his head was as fuzzy as ever. Malnourishment and dehydration was setting in heavily. If the Matoran were to check the back of the boat, though, there'd be a pair of oars. IC: Kovac Krossfari - Coliseum (Elevator Malfunction) As the door closed, the vigilante felt an odd rumbling. Taking it as nothing but the technology carrying the elevator up, he was sent flying to the ground as a much sharper sensation rocked the elevator, as the miniature room plummeted instead of going up. "Oh, Mata Nu-" CRASH! IC: Leonn - Ko-Metru (Looking for his contact) The shades were now on his face, as the spy began to walk through the chilly Metru. The Skakdi of Air stood out heavily with his jungle green skin, which didn't exactly help his objective. It'd be fine.
  14. IC: Thom - Ga Metru Bay (Nope.) A petrified shake of the head as he tried his best to keep a grip on reality. IC: Leonn - Ko-Metru (Arriving) The Le-Skakdi stepped out into the chilly night, sighing as he tried to think of a place Nidhiki would crash at in order to evade the authorities.
  15. IC: Thom - Ga Metru Bay (Keeping It Cool) The Skakdi offered the Matoran hands up, though he looked absolutely terrified. "Wehavetagowehavetagowehavetago-" IC: Kovac Krossfari - Coliseum (Getting To The Elevator) Blood feeling like gasoline, Kovac sped to the elevator, rapidly pressing to as high as it could go.
  16. IC: Thom - Ga Metru Bay (Reliving a nightmare) "Dinner sounds good! Reckon ah can getta plate o-" Just as he was about to request a good hot portion of Mahi meat and spaghetti, a few more Matoran swam to the boat, asking for a rope. Vhisola was correct, he had no rope. In fairness, if he'd have had time, he'd have packed a lot more. Then, something broke right through the assassin's pleased and jovial nature, as well as the waves in front of him. Giant tentacles penetrated the calm waters, his mind flashing back to the siren he'd slain. Thom's eyes widened in panic, dropping the blanket and freezing, catatonic. "Ah killed 'er. That's why it's 'ere." The Ko-Skakdi muttered, hand shakily grasping his revolver. IC: Leonn - In The Tube I'm famished. I could murder for a plate of mince Mahi and temple squid ink pasta. And a good cup of properly roasted coffee. Mmmm. I'll ask Nidhiki about going out for a meal after our business is conducted.
  17. IC: Thom - Ga Metru Bay (Introducing himself) The Skakdi nodded quickly, grinning all the while. "Thom's tha name. Or Patchy, ah don't mind. It's good to see ya! Ah can take ya to the temple, sure, jus' if ya can get me some water. And food, if ya please!" He talked abnormally fast, and one of his eyes seemed to have a twitch. IC: Leonn - Po-Metru (Mission Accepted) Sighing, the Le-Skakdi typed back: "Affirmative. Will meet with Nidhiki, suspect he means Ko. Best wishes xx" Leonn pocketed his IStone after that, disappearing into the night as he began to make a hasty transit to the nearest chute station. Shame Vyarik had to be such a vandal post mortem, that Vahki transport was an excellent vehicle. IC: Kovac Krossfari - Coliseum (Giving Chase) The vigilante opened his mouth to shut Jabali's volunteering down, but a familiar silhouette caught his eye. Idlyx. Shooting with anxiety, the Shadow of Metru Nui immediately booked it for the elevators, leaving poor Jabali behind. OOC: @Darth Jaller
  18. IC: Thom - Ga-Metru Bay (Meeting New Friends) She seemed a little distressed, so the Ko-Skakdi did as requested, moving close to the edge of the boat and offering a hand up, looking a little like a skeleton pirate with his eyepatch still askew on his face.
  19. IC: Thom - Ga-Metru Coast (Braved The Heart Of Darkness) His own snoring woke the emaciated Skakdi up, with a jolt. Thom breathed in, sighing with relief as he felt his body, still dry. He was safe. Sick, hungry, and lonely, but safe. His head pounding had stopped, but he felt weak. Moving was difficult, and he still wasn't sure where he was, nor even how long he'd been at sea. But, again, he was safe. A hand slipped out from under the blanket, rubbing his face. After a few minutes of rather pathetic wallowing in his blanket, the Ko-Skakdi finally opted to get out of the little cabin area of the dinghy, to at least take a look outside. "Ah, 'ello." He muttered, half-heartedly to the night that had seemingly lasted hours and hours. He'd given up trying to figure out what had happened there. The sea stretched out for many many bio, as to be expected... "Hold on." Thom whispered, a surprised bit of pep in his intonation. Something as his fuzzy eyesight trailed to directly in front of him. An island, looming in the distance, lighting up the dark. Thom's trademark grin spread wide and white across his face as he realised the City of Legends floated ahead of him, waiting for his arrival. "HahahaHAHAHAHAHA! YES!" He cackled out into the ocean, triumphantly and joyfully. He'd have cried if there were any fluids left in his body. He heard an imaginary song play in his head as the Skakdi danced, his intense fatigue and lack of energy ignored if only for just a happy thirty seconds or so. The boat even seemed to cheer up in disposition, merrily chugging along to what looked like Ga-Metru's port. The Dark Hunter sat at the front of the boat, draping the blanket from the mini-cabin over him like a curious Skaklet watching his first fist fight. His enhanced vision let him survey the approaching coast, making out little details like the night market on the bay, the Great Temple standing east of the bay, a weird bit of light shimmering in the waters below... He ignored that last bit, perhaps wilfully, instead looking to a swimming Ga-Matoran a bit away from him. An odd time for a leisurely dip, he realised, but he wasn't one to judge. He was just happy to see people again! "Hey!" Thom called out to the Ga-Matoran, waving at her with a genuine, toothy smile. OOC: That's Vhisola, boss. Also everyone's least favourite murderer has arrived back in Ga-Metru.
  20. IC: Kovac Krossfari - Coliseum A Matoran stopped him in his tracks. This wasn't the time. This was nowhere near the time. The Shadow of Metru-Nui looked back, not wanting to have to deal with this clearly distressed Matoran, but understanding that was his duty as a Toa. His comprehension of this was what made him different from the growing pile of pretenders in the city. "I am aware." He replied, gravely. "Allow me past, little one, I may be too late." IC: Leonn - Po-Metru (Recieving new orders) He scratched his nose, still oblivious to the chaos happening around him. "Unknown. What is relevance? Also, position with rogue Dark Hunter group may be compromised."
  21. IC: Leonn - Po-Metru (Doing His Job) Having taken advantage of the chaos ensuing, the jungle green Skakdi's fingers raced across his IStone, pressing out a text message that was concise as he could get it whilst still being legible. Takadox needed to know the info he'd learned as soon as possible. "Dume dark hunters new target. Advise on next move?" He crouched behind a sculpture, breathing heavy as the text sent. IC: Kovac Krossfari - Coliseum (Arrived) The Toa's breath was heavy as his feet slowed, near the entrance of the coliseum. He wasn't sure he'd made it in time. ... Stumbling into the coliseum, Kovac Krossfari had arrived.
  22. IC: Thom - ??? (???) The Skakdi's tongue ran across his dry lips. His head swam, and he lay in his blanket, shivering. He wasn't sure if he was asleep or awake. At this point, it barely mattered. How long had he been at sea? A few days? Two weeks? A month? Where was he going? Zakaz? Xia? The many islands beyond that he'd visited in his prior travels? Where was he going? ... ... "Arkkan...." His dim amber eyes lit up in the moment, hands feverishly fumbling for his weapon. Pirates? In the dark, he thought he saw something from inside of the small roof. It almost looked like....a fin, cutting neatly through the ocean waves. Teeth chattering, Thom lifted up his blanket, revolver cocked in his trance. Every noise sounded too loud, like it was in his head. Don't lose it. Don't lose it. Don't lose it. He lifted his eyepatch up onto his head, mad eyes desperately trying to get a look at whatever it was he heard, and saw. The waves taunted him, each momentarily resembling a monster emerging from the depths. "Hehehe! Arkkan~" The maddened mercenary slowly rotated around, nauseous eyes twitching. He wanted to be sick. "You're thirsty, aren't you, Thom? The ocean water is lovely! Have a drink, Arkkan~" A voice spoke, in a soothing, yet joyful tone. In the fever ridden dark, he could make out the slender silhouette of a woman on the other edge of the ship, resembling the proportions of a Toa. A pair of eyes twinkled in the dark. "Ah…" He could barely speak, but the warm voice called for him. His legs, on autopilot, carried him forward, towards the figure. A giggle could be heard as Thom approached the angelic woman, numbing the pounding headache and weak bones. The silhouette spread her arms out, for a soft embrace. His deliverance from this horrible journey. His own, shaky arms closed around the figure's midsection. She felt silky, yet oddly damp, with what felt akin to scales… His odd moment of unease was ceased almost immediately by the figure snaking her hands around his face, her own features illuminated in an hazy moonlight. She was...beautiful. Soft, light blue eyes gazed up into the Skakdi's own amber ones as a pillowy pair of lips formed into a smile. "You're sick, Thom. You'll die...you need to have something to drink. Come to the edge with me, Thom. Have a drink~" He didn't even have the capacity to argue with the woman as she led him, hand to hand to the edge of the dinghy. The water looked lovely in the moonlight. She was right, he was so thirsty. Thom knelt down on the wooden floor, hands reaching out for the glimmering water. He needed a drink. He needed a drink. As his hands touched the water, something in the glimmer stopped him. His reflection. He couldn't see the maiden's face in the ocean, only his own. His eyes were wide, and hysterical. He was as thin as ever, and his eyepatch sat slightly above his eye. His lips were chapped and torn. "Go on, you're so close~" Despite the maiden's encouragement, Thom felt a stronger need to stare into his own image. And as he gazed, it flickered. His own Skakdi face changed colour, to a jungle green. A smugger, more proud expression plastered itself across his face. And it changed again, a Pehkui, red and with a pair of vengeful eyes gazing into his own. Then, a melted Pakari, with the dim, fearful gaze of a dying Matoran. And finally, a Kakama, with a ponytail growing outwards. A determined and virtuous look stared back at the assassin. His goal. Reality hit him like a Vahki transport would a stray Mahi, and he pulled his hands back, shaking the water off them. He turned back, to the maiden. She looked disappointed. He cracked an apologetic but positive grin. "Sorry, sweetheart. Nah can do, not till ah got that Toa." Thom explained, his head slightly clearer. "Plus...seawater ain't exactly me beverage of choice." The shine in her eyes changed, then. The light blue became a furious purple, and her mouth opened. Horrible, jagged fangs revealed themselves, as the moonlight seemed to intensify, showing her scaley, finned tail in full detail, in place of her legs. An ancient, primevil roar came somewhere behind her, as Thom saw glimpses of a shadowy, tendriled creature in the ocean behind her, splashing and thrashing. "This ocean will be your grave, murderer!" The siren screamed. Without any hesitation, the Dark Hunter panicked, firing a shot amid the haziness which opened the scaly creature's face wide. Darkness spilled out as the monster screamed, clutching the remainder of her face as pure, purply dark poured from her wound. He felt even more sick, but the siren seemed to melt into nothing, having been rejected by the Skakdi, her power nullified. The tentacled sea beast behind her also screamed out into the night, before disappearing back into the depths with even more thrashing. Thom breathed heavily, slinking back into the small shelter and hiding beneath his blanket. He was okay. He was okay.
