  1. IC Halyx:

After two days of walking, Toa Halyx finally made his way to Ta-Koro. Upon entering the city, he began wandering about looking for clues to his identity. The city was unfamiliar to him, yet seemed like a distant memory. A flash went through his head of working in a forge, the heat, the blistering heat... Halyx felt a small sense of comfort in such a fire.

    OOC:

Any ideas as to what I should do?

  2. Firstly, thanks to Luroka for the spoiler tag.

Secondly, to Mate, my computer is a serious lemon. If it had to simulate physics as well as render pieces... Oh, god, the Matoran-ity!

Thirdly, to Minifig, the reason it's on it's back legs is because I couldn't fit those things next to the arms, so I stuck them behind it. This thing is supposed to be a serious prototype, so that's why it's so incomplete and primitive. I'll update later with the mk.2 prototype, which has MOVING GEARS!!! Admittedly, said gears are rather decorative and the actual action is controlled by a single lever that moves both arms in the same direction, but I'll save proper gear motion for the mk.3 edition. I just need to fix up the colors and then I'll work on the mk.3.

  3. OOC: Thanks, UltimoScorp.

IC Halyx: As Halyx approached the cliff, he noticed a large telescope. Peering into it, he saw a strange red light in the sky. Upon closer inspection, lightning struck Halyx, turning his salvaged gear into a golden firesword and shield, both of far better quality than before.

As Halyx inspected his new equipment, he noticed the red star was missing. Instead of doing the logical thing and questioning this mysterious star, Halyx decided to continue heading towards the city in the distance.

  4. IC:

"Gah..." Halyx muttered to himself. He woke up on a beach with no memory. Finding an old sword and shield, along with a strange pocket watch with the world Halyx written on it, he decided to head for the large skyline. Well, he would, if he could figure out this whole "walking" thing.

    OOC:

Here I am! Open for interaction!

  5. Vanik

    -Name: Vanik

    -Species: Toa of Water

-A detailed description or image: Vanik is a Metru-styled Toa of Water with Mata Blue as a primary color, dark blue as his secondary color and with green eyes. He's tall and rather slim.

    -Gender: Male

-Powers and/or weapons: Wears a Kanohi Sanok. Has elemental powers over water. Wields a Patero launcher armed with Stralix powder charges that detonate on impact and a protosteel scimitar.

-Technological items (and, if Foreign Tech, which staff member approved the item): A clockwork pocketwatch engraved with a complicated starmap that's too finely detailed to be of much use without a magnifying glass.

-Weakness(es): Acrophobic, arachnophobic, alcoholic and not particularly strong.

-Alignment (good, evil, neutral, etc.): Chaotic Whatever. He's sometimes good, sometimes evil.

-History: Vanik was once an Onu-Koro mechanic who dreamed of sailing on the open sea. One day, he finally decided to leave the city... only to be abducted by a tyrannical pirate captain at some point. After becoming a Toa, he managed to lead a mutiny against the captain, killing him in the process. The other crew members left to return to their normal lives, while Vanik took the ship for his own, renaming it the "Halyx," after an old Onu-Matoran friend of his. He turned to a life as a pirate captain, plundering trade ships and selling their wares on the black market.

-Personality and traits: Vanik is ruthless and arrogant, but an all around jovial fellow. He loves the open ocean, singing sea shanties as he sails around the island. He also likes money quite a bit, and isn't afraid to go to less than legal means to get it.

    -Ship: <a href="http://imgur.com/a/I...com/a/I1OGP</a>
The "Halyx" is a small cargo ship. The ship has enough cabin space for six people, a cramped engine room and a generous cargo bay. It is propelled by a steam engine that turns two rotors. It also has a mounted, handheld-sized Patero launcher on the front that fires Stralix powder charges that detonate on impact, two harpoon guns on each side, used to either launch grapples at enemy ships or spears at enemy combatants, and a large gangplank with an iron spike at the end used to board enemy ships.

    Rahkiir

    Name: Rahkiir
    Species: Toa
    Element: Fire
    Mask: Kanohi Tryna
    A detailed description or image:
    izz574.jpg
    left, with daikatana. right, staff
    Gender: Male
Powers and/or weapons: Natural charisma (as in selling ice to an Eskimo charisma) and large amounts of wisdom and intelligence. He has a staff, while seemingly powerless, has a clockwork contraption inside that when activated, opens the eyes and "chest" of the staff to reveal lightstones, and a golden daikatana. He also has a book called the "Book of Rahvok," a holy book dedicated to his god, also named Rahvok.
Weakness(es): Arrogant, blindly fanatical, aging and thus no longer in top fighting condition.
Alignment: Lawful Evil, though he believes he is doing good.
History: Once a Toa warrior named Halak fighting against the forces of Makuta, the slayer soon to be called Rahkiir was called by the citizens of Le-Koro against a wild Ashbear of unusual size. Upon finding the creature in a cave, he slew it, only for the cave to collapse. Forced to live in this cave as he dug his way out, his main form of sustenance was a fruit called the Dragonfruit. It, however, had hallucinogenic properties. Combined with various artifacts he found, he began to see visions of a god; one named Rahvok. Rahvok promised him great power if Halak would spread his word. Now known as Rahkiir, the "Dragon's Child," he travels the land, spreading the word of Rahvok through the holy "Book of Rahvok," found inside the cave of the Dragonfruit, alongside a golden daikatana with the head of a dragon emblazoned on the guard, a golden staff symbolizing the Siigonis beast, and a golden Tryna. His goal; spread the good word to all of Mata Nui and beyond. Recently, though, he has been suffering from bouts of paranoid delusions, and is on his way to treat those.
Personality and traits: Rahkiir is charismatic and charitable, but his sheer fanatiscism has lead him to the belief that those who reject Rahvok must be destroyed. He is known for his sagely appearance, wisdom and fervency in his beliefs. He's very good at getting people to see things his way.

    The Cave:
    When I say temple, I don't mean this;
    Khajuraho-Lakshmana_temple.JPG

    I mean more like this;
    DSC05002.jpg

It's spacious but not precisely comfortable, though it is very well hidden. Most of it is part of a preexisting cave/mine network, but the atrium, temple, entrance and priest's living quarters are carved out and decorated with cobble floors, stone brick walls, etc. It's very old, though, and is in need of repairs, especially since a giant lizard broke came and destroyed a lot of it. It's located a good distance away from Le-Koro, though still in Le-Wahi's jungle.

*Unless I'm allowed to poof up a dragon god of creation, just assume Rahvok is a by-product of goofy juice.

     Halyx

    Name: Halyx

    Species: Toa of Fire

    A detailed description or image:
    fcF0Jyc.jpg

    Gender: Male

Powers and/or weapons: Fire sword and shield

Technological items (and, if Foreign Tech, which staff member approved the item): Pocketwatch, won in bet with Onu-Koronan engineer named Halyx

    Weakness(es): Deathly afraid of spiders,

Alignment (good, evil, neutral, etc.): Chaotic good

History: Originally a Ta-Koronan blacksmith, this Matoran soon found himself in a dreamscape meeting the Great Spirit. Awaking as a Toa, something went wrong and he woke up with complete amnesia. Choosing the name Halyx after reading it on the back of his pocket watch and finding himself washed ashore on a beach, he set out to figure out his destiny and find his memories.

Mask: Great Calix, Mask of Fate

Personality and traits: Halyx is rather wise and intelligent but can be impatient and stubborn. He's always ready to do "the right thing," even if no one else will.

    ----------------------------------

    Jorik

    Name: Jorik

    Species: Toa of Air

    A detailed description or image:
    Z790Jpr.jpg

    Gender: Male

Powers and/or weapons: Katana and Patero launcher, flight because of mask

Technological items (and, if Foreign Tech, which staff member approved the item): Patero launcher

Weakness(es): Completely apathetic to everyone else, cannot swim and is hydrophobic.

Alignment (good, evil, neutral, etc.): Lawful evil, loyal to anyone with a big enough wallet.

History: An assassin for the longest time, Jorik is a despicable being. He's one of the few people who knows Halyx's past, and is willing to do anything to make sure no one learns it.

Mask: Great Kadin, Mask of Flight

Personality and traits: Jorik is distrustful, apathetic to anyone and everyone. He's loyal only to himself and those who can pay him.

(TO ADMINS: I had to swap Jorik's mask due to flight being his primary trait, but jetpacks aren't allowed. I'll swap out the laser rifle once I figure out a suitable replacement.)

    Tallix

    Name: Tallix

    Species: Toa of Stone

    A detailed description or image:
    JltnOZy.jpg

    Gender: Male

Powers and/or weapons: Elemental control over Stone, twin protosteel shortswords

Technological items (and, if Foreign Tech, which staff member approved the item): A small (though not tiny) cargo ship with a 2 broadside cannons and one swivel gun.

Weakness(es): Arrogant, views most threats as insignificant

Alignment (good, evil, neutral, etc.): Evil

History: Originally a crafter from Po-Koro, Tallix found himself exiled from the city for the murder of a Ko-Matoran trader. Vowing revenge, Tallix took to the desert, attacking passing travellers and taking their goods. One day, Tallix found himself at the Kini-Nui. While admiring the temple, Tallix began to glow and soon found himself becoming a Toa. Instead of using his gifts for good, like Mata Nui intended, Tallix used his powers for evil. Disrupting major trading routes, Tallix decided to take to the seas. Stealing a small Ga-Koronan trading ship, the Spirit of Lhii, Tallix took to the high seas, using his powers of stone to summon large rocks from the sea floor and incapacitate ships, plus his Huna and his skill with his blades to eliminate the crews. Tallix is currently dead at the moment, his body buried underneath the Po-Wahi sands.

Mask: Great Kanohi Huna, Mask of Concealment

Personality and traits: Tallix is arrogant, brooding, sinister, intelligent, and downright bad, but has a soft spot for the people he trusts and Ussal crabs, one of which he used to keep as a pet.

Ship: The Spirit of Lhii is a Ga-Koronan cargo ship, with room for six people in it's crew quarters, and a relatively nice cargo hold for a ship of it's small size. It is outfitted with two heavy disk launchers mounted on swivels on the broadsides and one light disk launcher mounted on the front. It is technically owned by Halyx, but is currently washed up on a river's shoreline in Le-Wahi.

    Adomai

    Name: Adomai

    Species: Toa of Magnetism

    A detailed description or image:
    xORawIB.jpg

    Gender: Male

Powers and/or weapons: Elemental control of magnetism, Trident/spear thing for a Toa Tool, a small dagger

Technological items (and, if Foreign Tech, which staff member approved the item):

    Weakness(es): Arrogant, spiteful, rather slow

Alignment (good, evil, neutral, etc.): Evil

History: Once a renowned mask maker in Ta-Koro, operating out of a small shop on the outskirts. One day, he was abducted by the pirate Tallix and put to work on his ship, the Spirit of Lhii. Adomai longed for the day he would be free, and as luck would have it, one day he was gifted with Toa powers.

When he got back to his shop, he found it and the surrounding building decimated by Skakdi raiders. Vowing revenge, he tracked them down across Mata Nui and systematically killed each and every one of them. Once again approached by the pirate Tallix, this time the meeting was skewed in Adomai's favor, and Tallix was put out of commission for a while. Realizing that his duty and destiny were already thrown out the window with the so-called "murder" of those worthless raiders, Adomai began a new life as an assassin, his only loyalties being to whoever pays him the most.

Mask: Great Kanohi Volitak, Mask of Stealth

Personality and traits: Adomai is arrogant, spiteful and truly evil, though he is also cunning and strategic, preferring to strike from the shadows to a full frontal assault. Despite his large build, he is very stealthy. His magnetism powers allow him to (clumsily) control the mechanical parts of his enemies, which allows him to kill his opponents in very demented ways.

    Haraki

    Name: Haraki

    Species: Toa

    A detailed description or image:
    4wpfazr.png?1

    Gender: Female

Mask: Great Kanohi Mask of Healing

Powers and/or weapons: Control over the element of Ice, mask powers associated with the Mask of Healing, excellent lying skills, protosteel spear and shield.

Technological items (and, if Foreign Tech, which staff member approved the item):

Weakness(es): Her armor, while designed for a good balance between speed and protection, can limit her speed and agility. Haraki can't hold her breath for very long. She is especially vulnerable to Fire.

Alignment (good, evil, neutral, etc.): Neutral

History: Haraki was once a guard for the Sanctum. She often modified her armor to be bulkier and give her a more menacing appearance. One day, as she was pacing along the length of the front gate, she noticed she was inexplicably taller. Examining herself, she discovered that she had been morphed into a Toa. After leaving Ko-Koro to wander Mata Nui with her newfound power, she took to trying to help others. She never felt any great need to help in the fight between the Great Spirit and the Makuta, prefering to take a neutral position. One day, she returned to Ko-Koro, but found it occupied by Makuta's followers. Saddened, she ran off to Le-Koro, biding her time until Ko-Koro is freed once more.

Personality and traits: Haraki is a very energetic, optimistic and passionate person. She is often the one who won't give up in the face of danger. However, she also has a sort of compulsive need to finish things, and refuses to stop even when faced with possible death. She prefers to appear more masculine when in combat, so as to intimidate the opponent. As such, she often wears bulky armor and less feminine masks, like her custom Mask of Healing, shaped to be more intimidating.

  6. Here's the gist; A new Makuta is invading an island called Vesoh Nui. The Toa Nuva are Turaga now, and the Toa Mahri are missing. But, when all seems lost, a new Toa team arrives to kick Makuta behind. Unfortunately, a new colonial government from beyond the stars is arriving and they don't seem to care for the Matoran. (In actuality, this was so I could use some HF pieces that don't work with Bionicle themes.)

I'll update this list whenever I can. Until then, here ya' go.

    Prototype Guardian mk.1

    Prototype Guardian mk.1

    Piece count: 46 pieces

Description: Built by the colonists from Hero Factory as a weapon to use against the Matoran, the Prototype Guardian is based on the bio-mechanical tech found on the remains of several fallen Toa. Equipped with two protosteel claws and a backwards-engineered Kanohi Hau, this prototype was SUPPOSED to be a great weapon. However, because of the sloppy engineering techniques used by Hero Factory, the prototype went rogue and started trying to defend the people of Spherus Magna.
