  1. IC Halyx:

As Seneaux finished her sentence, Halyx finished reached her. In his uncontrolled rage, he jumped upon her, ready to attack her with his sword.

    OOC:

Seneaux, it's your turn. Also, it would be great if you could join up, but wait for Halyx to go back to not being so grumpy. He's having a bad mask day.

  2. IC Halyx:

A rush of memories flooded Halyx's mind, as he saw images of a figure in green trying to attack a Toa. The vision was interrupted by a large flash of light. During this vision, Halyx uncontrollably rushed towards Seneaux with his Calix activated, as if he was trying to tackle her at top speed.

    OOC:

We really need to get Halyx's plot going, so here. Vakama visions! Or something... More like random flashes of memory.

  3. Someone here doesn't like TV Tropes?

I have lost all faith in the internet. All hail TV Tropes. It will ruin your life.

Looping back to the Kiril, I suppose you could make it a Turaga-only mask for characters that are starting out. Plus, the Mask of Healing is allowed, and healing something organic is a little more OP than healing arms and armor. But, if it was Turaga only, it'd make sense. It took Dume 1000 years or something to repair Metru Nui, I have a feeling that takes some of the OPedness out of it.

  4. The Mary's? Who are they, a group of people all named Mary?

EDIT: The Vahi is banned because it's THE MASK OF TIME. The most powerful mask until they revealed the Ignika and the MoC. It's not called a legendary mask for no reason.

  5. The Elda could be used to detect those using Huna, Volitak or Iden, but I always thought a better idea would be to act as sort of a homing device. Kinda like what it did for the Ignika, but you could pair it with any object or person. Of course, you'd need to have something of the person's to detect them, and in both instances it'd probably take up a lot of energy.

  6. Okay, stop with the puns...

    Must... Resist... Urge to...

...or you'll get sent to the punitentiary...

    I can't help it.

Seriously, though, I was wondering, do you plan to add any more masks to the approved list? Better yet, why aren't some masks like the Elda or the Suletu allowed? What about the Garai or Faxon? I know the Kiril would be a pretty cool addition, why isn't that allowed?

  7. The Mask of Creation's shtick is that it can produce any object or, in the event the wearer doesn't know how the object is produced, it will show them the instructions. I highly doubt that the GB put instructions to everything in the MU in the MoC (since it was Mata Nui and the Makuta who created the Rahi after the GSR launched, not to mention disk launchers, rhotuka, vahki, Boxors, Takanuva's vehicle, etc...) so the MoC must be adaptive.

Though, if it can't show how to make another MoC, what would happen if a GB used to create one?

  8. IC: Guvla

"Not much, maybe a boat ride but that's about it."

OoC: I say we hold out for another day then we move on to Ko-wahi, I think they're are some Toa there we can talk with.

    IC Halyx:

Halyx looked across the Koro towards where Lumira was pointing. "The Great Takea, eh? Well, we don't need a boat. Circle back around into Ta-Wahi and head northwest across the Tren Krom Break. Drinks are on me."

    OOC:

I'm gonna assume that the Great Takea is a bar or something, the way Lumira talks about it. Correct me if I'm wrong. Also, yeah, Grimlock, staying for a day couldn't hurt. If push comes to shove, I'll summon a Toa from beyond the LDD. I'm already working on it.

  9. IC Halyx:

"Well, let's see. I've got, oh... a couple o' widgets, about an ounce of protodermis and about eight chili peppers. How much will that get us?"

    OOC:

So, do we need one of us to plop out a new Toa, do we already have an applicable one or do we take our chances?

  10. Three things; 1). Me, Grimlock and Emissary are trying to assemble a Toa team in Ga-Koro, though we'll be moving to Ko-Koro within a few days, so hurry.

Secondly, the Bohrok could be incorporated as Makuta's failsafe, but not a GSR cleansing program. Of course, we'll have to come up with a really big plot arc for that.

Thirdly, why the rule on Toa Stones? I get that they're rather important canon-wise, but if the GS keeps making Matoran into Toa, why can't already established Matoran evolve into Toa through any method except staff approval? Actually, that brings up a pretty big question. Say I create a Matoran character explicity to become a Toa, but I want to show the circumstances under which they become a Toa through some plot arc. Is that even allowed?

  11. IC Halyx:

"Wow. We're going with the I word. Thanks, Visalk. Sorry, Baku. Hey, how about you come with us? We can always use a Toa of Electricity."

    OOC:

Just putting it out there for Baku to join up. Also, since I don't know what 6-letter swear you're thinking of, I just picked a random letter. I like thinking of different cultures having different swears. For instance, Igloni or something like that.

  12.

Would my Rahkshi character be allowed to have a unique background/creation story?

Depends on the story. Bear in mind that the quirk giving the Rahkshi their intelligence is a biological thing that the Makuta have no idea about so if you're intending to be a clone or other lab experiment you probably aren't going to have developed it and so wouldn't be at the school

Long story short: this Rahkshi came straight from a pool of Antidermis without any Makuta involved.

Eh, no, that would make you an entirely different kind of experiment and you wouldn't wind up at  the school

O, and if Ta gets steakhouses then Le gets gumbo. I know Le-Metru isn't the swamp Le-Wahi is but someone's gotta have gumbo

No, no, no. Ga-Metru is the swampiest, it gets gumbo and jambalaya. And jazz. Gotta have that jazz.

Now I see Nokama belting out Louis Armstrong while mixing up a good pot of sausage and Creole rice.

Yeah, I love me some jambalaya.

  13. My first set was Pohatu-

*Awesome! Woohoo! Yay! Bionicle Fan 4 Life!*

    -Nuva Phantoka.

    *Oh.*

Yep. Started with Pohatu Phantoka, later got Photok, Gavla and Vamprah, then later got Ackar and Tarix. I own 6 bionicle sets. I hope to get more from Bricklink, but I have to clear out my closet first (I live in an RV, not productive for lego collecting)
