It's low 20s here!

The polar front jet is taking a bit of a trip down to Texas and through the South letting all that nice frozen air slide right through about 50% of the country. Should be a good time if you like to freeze your booty off. In other news, writing, working out, and reading is going well. Can't complain there.

2025 came in with a bang where I live and I'll probably spend the day picking pieces of rockets off the roof of my house... What goals and resolutions are you setting for 2025? Doesn't have to be big, doesn't have to be life shattering, or even crazy special. For me: - My biggest and craziest goal is to do 120 pushups a day. I did a practice run of it two weeks ago and it's doable. - Read a book every week or every two weeks. - Write at least 300 words every day. - Generally, eat a lot healthier and be more financially wise. What about you, BZPower?

IC: Xanthos | Po-Koro, Residential District Xanthos wouldn't say he missed how Po-Koro used to be, but it was a sure lot harder to make your way around the place without proper directions. Between the bustling of trams, the distant whistling of the industrial district, and all the new greenery, he was turned around. It hadn't been a week since his team had departed for Ga-Wahi and left him in Onu-Koro with little to his person and a dazed mind trying to find new direction on the island. Po-Koro seemed like the best place to venture to next; he hadn't been in years and maybe it was time to shake his luck up with a new village. Maybe find a new team. He pulled his cloak tight around his blue-and-gold frame, his heater shield bouncing gently on his back, as he stepped through the traffic and began to worm his way through the streets, alleys, and parks of the new Po-Koro. Wow, that's a wicked build! Excellent lightning and background with it, it really enhances the (lack of) color with this build.

Mission driven, hard to deter from his path once set. Team player. Prefers more civilized locations over the wilds of the Wahi. Doesn't shy away from violence and has been known to use extreme methods to get what he wants.

Having come back to the forum reminded me how I loved writing stories based on Bionicle so I decided I'm going to put a spin on the saga myself, starting with Tahu waking on Mata Nui to the very end. Lots of plot changes, lots of character changes, but should still be the same bones under all the fleshy bits.

Wow, that's a hot take(I think). I do agree we spent two years on effectively prequel material versus advancing the story of the Toa Mata/Nuva.

This is a fantastic point. It would have been incredible to see the complete shakeup of the entire belief system we had been told about so far and presented Mata Nui as a morally gray individual instead of this lawful good god being he had so far been. Is your only criticism that they brought back Vakama and the gang for that arc or were there other reasons?

For me, I would have loved to see Sidorak return as a villain in a later arc, maybe on Voya Nui or Karda Nui. He was a great villain and I hated to see him die when he did. I felt he had great potential for more shenanigans.

Star Wars Battlefront II(2005). Got it running on my Steam Deck and it runs very well. No issues I can find.

Maybe one day I'll dive into a story about what exactly happened between the Toa and Makuta in his lair that caused the calamity. Thank you for your kind words!

Currently headed to Detriot to travel home from holiday travels and I am preparing myself for crowds, long lines, and TSA screaming at the clueless. Christmas vacation was fun but I'm ready for my own bed.

I'm back, I suppose. Was last here in January 2021. Almost goes without saying but COVID stole all my time in 2021; did a lot of response work across my state and didn't get a lot of me time and eventually BZPower fell off my radar. Hoping to reignite my love for Bionicle writing again by being on the forums. I joined the Discord as well, you can find me on there as cloudywriting.

Sounds good. I'm definitely gonna have to revamp a character and inject myself into the game again. EDIT: Alright, I did it. Character is up. Any recommendations for a Toa that was just ditched by his team?

Approximately until next December, ish, if things don't change. And I got a lot to do during that time to get things ready so I'm going to use this handy dandy blog I paid $60 bucks for years ago to catalog it. I have a house to finish, writing to finish(both for clients and otherwise*), and family to prepare. Let's go. *in my time away, I've since become a semi-professional writer. Some of my work has been used in the animation and video game industries but the work is too inconsistent at the moment for me to do it full time. Thus, "semi"-professional.

...and a happy new year. Feels weird coming back on after...quite some time away. Doesn't feel like home but somewhere familiar. But thank you BZPower. For more than you'll ever know.

Tuesdays seem more tiring than Mondays in my opinion.

Slap my hand if double posting isn't allowed in this topic, but I want to make sure this gets seen. Can somebody give me the low down, quick and dirty, spit-shine version of what's the current happenings in the game, as well as suggestions for jumping in?

We don't need that if we can just keep people posting, at random times, what the current year is.

This site is wildly in-between overly informing folks of what's going on and under informing folks. Makes it spicy.
