IC: Cobra Shard - Behind Cover "Ferro..." Now where had he heard that name before? It was on a list somewhere... the list for... "Ohhh, you were here last time, weren't you? On Antropolis, I mean. The mission with the, you know, the brains and the earthquake and and stuff, right?" Of course, that was where he knew Ferro from. The mission brief Zib had sent him whilst the flying beasts had been tormenting him had had a roster of all Heroes that had been deployed for that fiasco. IC: Blink - Villain Ship She glanced after Thak. "Him? No clue," She settled into the seat with her beacon hidden under it and strapped herself in in preparation for the next flight.
-
IC: Cobra Shard - Rookie Squad "Alright," he breathed a sigh of relief as he helped Flames back to to his feet. "Gyro's been having a tough time; the last thing he needs is for us to screw up his cover now. We'll stay hidden and the bad guys will never even know we're there! Come on!" Shard started moving again, but at a walk this time. IC: Blink - NOW She's In The Ship Blink sauntered into the ship, thoroughly unsurprised to hear "Rotor" and Thak bickering about something or other up near the front.
-
OOC: Fixed IC: Cobra Shard - Confused "Oh- oh yeah-" he stumbled to a halt. "Hey Flames, maybe we should take the 'stealthy approach'?"
-
IC: Cobra Shard - What The...? "VILLAINS? WHAT? WHERE?" Shard yelled as he was dragged into a run by Flames. Then he checked his email. IC: Blink - Unaware Blink, who had yet to enter the ship, remained blissfully unaware of Thak's confrontation with "Rotor".
-
IC: Blink - Villain Ship "Got it," she responded, before snapping the phone shut and sliding it back into her pocket. "Ey buddy," she turned to "Rotor", "He's saying to get the ship warmed up; he'll be back any minute."
-
IC: Blink - Villain Ship "Alright, we're at the ship now," she told the other villains over the phone as she and "Rotor" arrived back at the ship. "Ready to go any time."
-
IC: Blink - With "Rotor" "Just around the corner here..." she muttered to herself as they drew nearer to where the ship was parked.
-
IC: Blink - With "Rotor" "Ugh," she said, turning back to her phone. "Nothing super specific, no, but we do have our search area narrowed down considerably."
-
IC: Blink - With "Rotor" "Uhh... not sure if there were any... hold a sec, I'll check again." She turned to "Rotor". "Were there any coordinates we could follow in that thingamajig? I didn't see any." OOC: We'll probably need Roman to tell us if they're in there. I reread the post of what the datapad contained and it looks like the pirates were pretty careful to keep stuff like that out of Sodden Heap's hands.
-
IC: Blink - With "Rotor" "Right, I'll give 'em a call..." Blink pulled out a rather old looking flip-phone and dialed the other members of the villain gang (excluding Rotor, who of course was already with her). "Hey guys, we've got somethin'. Looks like some goons in the Mekron sector are behind the Starwhale's disappearing trick. They were workin' with one of the crewman; it was an inside job. But the best part is: they'd been plannin' this whole thing for a while, which means whatever it is the Starwhale's got, it's gotta be goood."
-
OOC: Must have missed where Nex actually arrived. IC: Cobra Shard - Antropolis Hero Gang "Ah, didn't see ya there, Nex," Cobra said as Flames addressed the Alpha Hero. IC: Blink - With "Rotor" "What are we waiting for then? Let's go!" Blink began walking back towards where the villain spaceship was parked.
-
IC: Blink - With "Rotor" "Yeah we should have enough guys," Blink replied doubtfully. "Mekron's not exactly down the road though. We'll have to take the ship..." IC: Cobra Shard - Antropolis Hero Gang "We could call Nex and see what he got. Or I suppose we could head back to the Starwhale's dock and search it ourselves. We know it was compromised somehow from Mister Explodey Head Guy, so I'd bet there are some villain-ish clues laying about in there somewhere."
-
IC: Cobra Shard - Antropolis Hero Gang Shard shrugged. "Maybe we give him a birthday cake? That oughta work..." IC: Blink - With "Rotor" "Yeah," she leaned in to see the tablet Sodden Heap had given them. "Do you think you can work it from here or are we gonna need a terminal or something?"

Much better. Var Vilandris Approved 1/3 but I'll be keeping my eye on the speed, reflexes, and agility thing. No dodging an earthquake. EDIT: Forgot the TIE, that's Approved 2/3

IC: Cobra Shard - Gathering of Heroes "Yeah, I'll be fine. This looks worse than it feels," he said cheerfully, pointing at the cracks. IC: Blink - Near Gathering of Heroes Blink poked her head out of the subway tunnel and made a quick hand gesture to call "Rotor" over. She ducked back in, hoping he'd seen it and no-one else had.
-
You should probably put that in her profile somewhere... I mean, you did say she's of a human-like species, but you didn't specify if that species has human stats or Hero stats.

Okay I'll see if I can't throw an Echo IC in next time I post, then. Where do we want these guys? Are they involved in the current mission or just sorta doing their own thing?

IC: Cobra Shard - Face Planted Shard painfully climbed to his feet and followed the other Heroes out of the subway, gingerly fingering the brand new cracks spider-webbing his visor. He glanced at the frozen railing as he exited the tunnel and muttered, "Don't try this at home, kids." IC: Blink - Subway Blast! She'd lost "Rotor" in the crowd. Likely he'd caught the gunman and pulled them out through a different exit without waiting for her. She looked around for them, but between being too short to see over the heads of the crowd and the looks her rifle and sword were drawing, she decided to just leave and look for him on the streets. At the top of the stairs, however, she quickly changed her mind and ducked back in to the subway as an unmistakable figure flew over her head and landed not and arm's reach away. Golden armor, goofy-lookin' wings, a shiny sword... no doubt about it: this guy was a Hero. She waited until he'd looked around for a second and run off before cautiously exiting the tunnel. IC: Gabriel Bliss - Antropolis Streets Bliss touched down near a subway entrance and looked around for a second. Gyro had already left the tunnels. He followed the other Hero's marker until he found him, surrounded by a handful of others. He was about to ask if the assassin had been apprehended, but Gyro's slightly sour expression told him all he needed to know.
-
IC: Cobra Shard - Still Running Into the subway, eh? Well, it's not where he would've preferred to go, but Gyro was also heading down there, so he supposed it couldn't be helped. With a quick spray of coolant from the Splinter Cannon, he coated one of railings down the stairwell with slick frost and leaped onto it, adopting a cool surfing pose as he flew down before face planting into a wall. IC: Gabriel Bliss - Antropolis Rooftops Bliss was getting closer to Gyro's signal, but it was taking him a while, even with all the super parkour. IC: Blink - Antropolis Subway "Rotor" did an awesome dive into the subway, so Blink followed, huffing and puffing, into the tunnels.

Yeah, actually a team up with those two could be interesting... Should we just timeskip them out of the bar or something to avoid having to mess with Focus?

IC: Gabriel Bliss - Antropolis Fiasco 2.0 After exiting the control tower, Bliss analysed the terrain. The streets would take too long at this hour of the day, so he'd have to stick to rooftops wherever possible. A jump and a blast from his wingpack and he was airborne, already covering the distance to Gyro's ping at a fair speed. IC: Cobra Shard - Running Shard was still running, but the streets were crowded and confusingly set up. Without his navigation systems guiding him, he would have quickly become lost. IC: Blink - Also Running "Hey, wait up!" she called after "Rotor" as she neared, clicking the last fastener on her gun.

*sigh* Echo's sad journey of confusing timeskips and random circumstance changes continues. I'll probably just leave him where he is for this mission and stick him in somewhere else later down the line. See ya around, Stark.

IC: Gabriel Bliss - Control Tower Bliss glanced at Nex. "First Flames' dead body find and now this? I think we're on the right track." He started heading back towards the control tower door. If there was a sniper on the loose, they'd need to move fast. IC: Blink - Doing Her Name Justice Blink did nothing but sit there... well... blinking for a few seconds, utterly stunned. Rotor kept his wits however, and quickly took off, telling her to stay with the dead guy? Why stay with the dead guy? She took off running after Rotor, pulling her bag from her shoulder and snapping her rifle together as she moved. IC: Cobra Shard - Antropolis Sucks "Yeah, I'm good; let's go!" he started running towards Gyro's ping. OOC: Just realized there's quite a lot of running in this post...

I think it goes without saying that most (if not all) of us will be less active than usual (or not at all) over the next few days. I'll do my best to post when I need to, but I expect everyone will be focused more on the holidays than the game.

IC: Gabriel Bliss - Control Tower "Hey Nex, I think I've got something," he looked over the email again to make sure it said what it did and then showed it to the Alpha Hero. "Pirates." Flames' message registered in his HUD with a *ding* and he opened it quickly. "Are you getting this too? Someone's been killed!"
