  1. IC: Gabriel Bliss - Mission Control "Do we know of any opposition we might be up against? Pirates? Mercs?"
  2. I'll Approve Thak 3/3 but I hope you've been keeping track of the Great Lightsaber Debate as far as the energy on his sword is concerned...
  3. I suppose... Magnetism still seems pretty insane though.
  4. NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO (wait, what about Ferro?)
  5. IC: Echo - Establishment "We could always swipe a Hero Factory dropship. I hear there's a lot of that going on these days."
  6. Man, I was really looking forward to those sparkle hands. Var Vilandris Approved 1/3 TIE Incursor Approved 1/3 (can't actually remember if the TIE had any approvals before? *shrug*)
  7. Sapphire Approved 2/3 Var surprisingly looks balanced now but before I give an approval I would like to ask: Does she still haz sparkle hands?
  8. I would think so. A spaceship is obviously more useful, so most players would want one of those instead of a ground-based vehicle which is why that's the standard profile template, but if you want some other type of vehicle then feel free to write up a profile for it.
  9. IC: Marrow - Stalking In The Night Marrow waited for MASTER DUCK to catch up and then continued its hunt, a pair of rats already skewered on one of its claws. IC: Alex Drift - Makuhero City Arena (cheering)
  10. IC: Gabriel Bliss and Cobra Shard - Mission Control The veteran and the rookie arrived at Mission control at about the same times, although Shard's entrance involved a little bit more tripping and falling over than Bliss's. IC: Blink - Eclipse Station: Voltix's New Bar Blink avoided the main crowd and squeezed into the bar through a window. She didn't want to catch whatever the nasty coughing dude had. IC: Marrow - Fortress Nest of Indomitable Power Lights, blinding and painful Strangers in masks The cloying smell of anesthetic A long thin needle- Marrow woke from its tortured sleep to the sound of footsteps overhead. Images and sensations still swirled nauseatingly through its head, but the memories were not its own. Inherited dreams, the legacy left by the original Marrow. It was hiding in a portion of the nest that had been built a while back underneath a section of flooring that a whole bunch of Heroes were marching over at the moment. The overwhelming scent of Quaza was enough to make Marrow's mouth water, but it knew it wasn't strong enough to tackle Heroes yet, so it held back. After a minute or two, the noise passed and silence returned. It lay back in the pile of old leaves and scrap metal and tried to get more rest, but it was no use. Sleep didn't come easily and never stayed long. Marrow got up and crawled out of the nest and into the moonlight. No one was around. A perfect opportunity to hunt.
  11. In Marrow's next form, the Duck will be able to unite onto Marrow's back to form MARROWDUCK OF ULTIMATE POWAAAA Or maybe Marrow unites onto the Duck's back?
  12. And now for a profile that's long, long overdue: Name: Marrow Character Type: Villain Abilities/Equipment: An evolved version of its parent, this incarnation of Marrow is slightly stronger and faster and has become marginally more intelligent, although it is still largely a creature of instinct. Other than that, it has all the abilities of the original Marrow (enhanced jump and climb, metal and Quaza eating, super smell, stealthy movement). It has also evolved to be able to survive off of some organic food, such as raw meat, although it still has a permanent craving for Quaza. Marrow also has the ability to lay a creepy bio-mechanical egg once in its lifetime that will contain its next form, but can only do this after absorbing a very large amount of energy. Appearance: This Marrow is smaller than its predecessor due to not being entirely full-grown yet, but already looks just as scary. Bone struts jut out awkwardly from the arms; ragged, oily feathers stick out from between lopsided steel plates grafted to the black flesh underneath; metal spikes and blades cover the body from head to toe; and the same glowing red eyes stare out from the misshapen skull. Marrow always stands or moves in a crouch and always looks hungry. Which is probably because it always is. As usual, more pictures at LEGO.com and Flickr, including a bonus one of Marrow eating Drift! Bio: After the original Marrow (whose origins still remain shrouded in mystery) was defeated, Hero Factory closed the case on the creature. Unbeknownst to them however, Marrow lived on. Before its demise, it had lain a creepy bio-mechanical egg that had sat dormant until Marrow died, when it hatched, birthing a new incarnation of the terrifying monster. This new Marrow now lives in the care of Hero Factory's resident DUCK OVERLORD. No Heroes have seen it as of yet as it only moves about at night when no one is near and never strays far from the network of tunnels and ponds it has made its home.
  13. Michael Barrier Approved 3/3 Took a look at Flames' profile and was all like "Hey, this guy's not all that insane," and then saw the second half and went Flynn Flames & Mr. Hyde Approved 2/3
  14. IC: Blink - Eclipse Station Tier 3 Blink looked up from her hand of cards. Her losing hand of cards. The guy on the television was spouting some nonsense. Some very intriguing nonsense... "I fold," she said, throwing her cards on the table and accepting her losses. Maybe there was a way besides gambling to get the money she needed. IC: Gabriel Bliss - Apartment Bliss had just arrived back at his apartment when Zib's call came in. He heaved a small sigh. Peace never lasted long. IC: Cobra Shard - Yofrid's Bar Shard got Zib's message and almost ignored it, but ultimately decided he'd better report in. He needed to get back in the field and stop hanging out at places like this. IC: Alex Drift - Makuhero Arena Drift's communicator was off, so he missed the message.
  15. Alright, he looks a lot more balanced now. Whipcrack Approved 2/3
  16. Hmm, not sure about Whipcrack being strong, fast, smart, AND having an insta-stun weapon, but if the other GMs say it's fine, I'll go along with it. With those kind of stats it's really going to boil down to how this guy is played in-game to determine if he's OP or not. He's a bit like Shade or Captor, where his profile is kinda borderline OP, but he could be a perfectly reasonable character depending on his interactions with the other players. His ship looks fine, though, so The Cyclic Resonator Approved 2/3
  17. IC: Echo - Establishment "More or less," he replied, thinking not for the first time that the term "Ex-Hero" applied better to him than most. He still wasn't quite sure what Core had wanted to discuss with this guy, so he once again looked to his partner for the next word. OOC: If Lucina doesn't respond in the next day or two, I'll try shooting him a PM.
  18. IC: Echo - Establishment Echo waited a moment or two for Core to respond to Insurgent's question, but his partner said nothing, so he answered instead. "We're... well, Heroes isn't the right word. Not anymore, at least. 'Outcasts' would be a more appropriate term," he said, using the bar's Net connection to display any files he could find on this Insurgent character to his HUD. He wasn't finding much, but there was enough there that he could reasonably assume the man was some kind of vigilante; there'd been a lot of those in town after the old Factory's collapse, most notably the Proto-Hero, Kaiba Blader. "He's Core," he gestured to his partner, "and I'm Echo." He wiped his internal display clear and looked right at Insurgent. "Now," he leaned forward an inch, "Who are you?"
  19. Yeah, I'll get right on that. Was waiting for a Core post from Lucina, but that's clearly never going to happen.
  20. I... I honestly can't believe I never thought of this. I would totally approve this more if I could, but unfortunately all I can give you is Kyuhaun and The Drop Ship Both Approved 1/3
  21. OOC: *phew* Finally back. Sorry I haven't been posting much here lately =/ IC: Gabriel Bliss - Hero Factory Garage Bliss finally gave up arguing with the mechanic. The request to add in flame-resistant armor (which had been flatly denied) had somehow evolved into a discussion about whether golf or hockey was better. He wasn't quite sure how it had happened, but it had been pretty serious; he was really starting to rethink his views on imported yogurt. IC: Alex Drift - Totally Failing At "Spot-The-Villain-Hiding-In-The-Stadium" Drift didn't notice at all as Mr. Vyle walked right past. IC: Cobra Shard - Worst Hero Ever Shard turned around and looked at Kaiba as the vigilante came in. He was pretty sure the guy was a villain; there'd been a lot of radio chatter about him a few nights back. Shard thought for a few seconds about whether he should call for backup or tackle the White Wolf all by himself, but then decided it wasn't worth it and just went back to his drink instead.
  22. IC: Alex Drift - Makuhero City Arena Drift spotted a cluster of Heroes he recognized, but decided not to interact with them. Frankly, that Flood guy always gave him the willies. Instead, he bought his ticket and began hunting for an open seat.
  23. IC: Gabriel Bliss and Alex Drift - Totally Didn't Just Now Think Of Doing This Hahaha Bliss had stayed behind at the garage to see if he could get the mechanics to swap out the armoring on his new ship for some heat-resistant stuff while Drift headed down to the Makuhero City Arena. Thumper's match was tonight and he'd had heard some pretty wild stories about Thumper's matches. IC: Blink - Eclipse Station Tier 3 Blink slipped through various slimy back alleys and side-streets until she spotted what she'd been looking for: a rich guy. A guy who kinda looked like a rich guy. A guy who was probably not rich, but looked like he might be. Blink slithered up behind him and thunked him on the head before hiding him behind a dumpster and looting his pockets. Yes! Enough money to get her into another casino. This time, she'd definitely hit the jackpot and be able to afford that nice ship she wanted. For sure. Blink spied out the nearest gambling den and began her seventeenth spending spree of the day.
  24. An now, time for some shameless self promotion! I present ULTIMATE SPLUFFIRATOR 2000: https://scratch.mit.edu/projects/114861524/

  25. Man, here I was hoping that they were evil treasure maps that led to the galaxy's darkest secrets. Jade Riley Approved 3/3 and Gunship 479 Approved 2/3
