I'm going to reserve judgement until Onaku responds to these points; you guys have said all that I would've otherwise. In the meantime, Vicarath, it might be a good idea to go back and edit the 8000g thing out of The Scalpel's profile. Wait, we can't revoke approval? Fishers did that once or twice in special cases, if I remember correctly...

So the conclusion I'm coming to reading all this is that people should really stop sticking numbers in their profiles. I mean, seriously, almost all of the issues we've had with characters that were deemed "OP" (especially Onaku's characters) were because of unreasonably high numbers occupying spaces in the profile where vague descriptors would've done a better job. For instance: Forticus having a number that indicated he could lift three blue whales no probs when Toa Onaku could've just said "He has super strength" was definitely a scenario where a bit of ambiguity would've gone miles towards getting the profile approved. Now, granted, there are still problems with leaving numbers out (Sapphire is a good example of that), but you can still use fairly un-specific values like "She can run 3x the speed of a bicycle" rather than just nothing. (Also, sorry Onaku. Wasn't trying to pick on you or anything; it's just that you're characters make good examples )

IC: Blink - Eclipse Station, Tier 3 Blink watched from the sidelines with only minimal regret as the guys she'd just stolen lunch from got cornered by Uerub and some ugly purple dude. She turned away before any violence started and kept walking, munching on a soggy old sandwich and whistling an annoying tune. IC: Gabriel Bliss and Alex Drift - Hero Factory After delivering their salad to the homeless shelter, Drift and Bliss had headed to the Hero Factory outskirts. Drift wanted to see how the new Cor Solis was coming along and Bliss didn't have anything better to do, so they were now in the machine shop, watching the mechanics install the third wing. The ship hadn't been painted yet and it was far from complete structurally, but the chief engineer assured the Heroes it would be done within the month. "Made any changes to her?" Drift asked, after examining the ship for a few seconds. "Yeah. After the way the old one went down, I figured it was time for an upgrade." Bliss moved over to the cockpit area and gestured at the turret underneath with a huge grin. "Flamethrowers. Top of the line. Next time, it'll be the villain's ship that goes down flaming." Drift blinked a few times. "Flamethrowers. Not... I dunno... flame-resistant armour?" Bliss's grin disappeared. "Shoot! I knew it was missing something."

Nah, let's just say it was something really awful and bad and leave it at that. Var Vicious Not Approved For one thing, as Zippy mentioned, we haven't really been allowing any kind of crossovers (if we did allow them we'd probably have more Bionicle than HF guys running around in here) so some of the wording in the profile will need to be changed so she's less "Sith" and more "Obviously-A-Sith-But-That's-Not-What-We're-Calling-Her". Also, it seems to me like she has one too many really powerful abilities; Jedi reflexes and agility, Force Lightning, limited mind-reading, and telekinesis seems like a bit much... TIE Incursor also Not Approved Because 5000g on a starfighter is excessive to say the least. Andrea Plume Approved 3/3 Delta Approved -1/3 So many problems with this guy... where to begin? Just one of the powers you gave him, even taking his inexperience into consideration, would set him at borderline OP. Throw in an infinite battery with a larger power supply than a normal Core and you've got yourself a character that makes Traferous look sort of reasonable. Delta's really, really got to be toned down a lot before we let him into the realm of mortals. But, surprisingly, because of the Mechna thing, you can actually get away with the whole time-travel thing in his bio and have a pretty decent excuse for it. Sorry that I can't approve more of these guys, but at least some of these issues need to be resolved first. =/

Whirl, Uerub Kalslann, and Necrissia all approved 3/3 Thought I did that already, but looking back at my post, all I did was throw out a Flash gif. =/ Sorry about that... Also, on a side note, Onaku, did you ever decide on a price for Echo's resurrection? You emphasized the whole price thing in her profile a lot, but since Fishers got banned while the ritual was happening, we never really got around to that part. Not that it's terribly important, but it's been kinda bugging me. =P

IC: Echo - Establishment? Echo moved inside the bar after Insurgent and immediately began scanning the room for any Heroes, vigilantes, or other unfriendly characters. And also for empty tables.

IC: Echo - Makuhero City Still following silently behind Core, Echo watched the White Wolf leap overhead to a different roof before vanishing out of sight and shook his head imperceptibly. Vigilantes like that almost never seemed to consider escape vehicles; running was such an inefficient method of transportation when regularly opposing Heroes.

I'm also going to say Flabbergaster Not Approved for the same reasons that everyone else has mentioned. The power needs to be scaled back and/or clarified and the bio needs work at the very least. Also, I'm going to have limited availability to post for the next week (approximately).

IC: Echo - Ninja? Just as quickly as he had appeared, Echo was gone. From the shadows of a completely different alcove, he completed his analysis of the terrain situation and motioned Core towards the best exit.

IC: Echo - And... Action! Echo took advantage of the commotion to fully unsheathe his blade. Core and he had both seen the attack coming long before the Hero actually struck, and he was fully confident that his partner and the stranger could handle this rookie, but other Heroes were beginning to gather and this was beginning to look more and more like a full-scale brawl. As one of the newcomers lunged at Core's back, Echo finally moved. A hard kick sent the ex-Hero hurtling into the air and a second to the nearby wall launched him towards the strange bee-guy trying to backstab his partner. With a single fluid motion, Echo brought his claymore down between the stinger attack and Core to deflect the blow and sent a telekinetic wave to try and throw the bee-Hero off balance. OOC EDIT: missed Beemer's attack. =\ Totally have to redo this post now...

OOC: Also, even if Makuhero City does have any people wandering around after hours, they probably wouldn't be doing so in whatever part of the city Core and Echo have set up shop. It'd be pretty dumb for those two to be hanging out in a populated part of town with their fugitive status and all.

IC: Echo - Alley Confrontation Echo remained motionless in the darkness where he stood. His audio receptors were picking up everything that was going on between the two in the street and... was that music he heard coming from the airborne Hero? Carefully, he began undoing the straps that secured his black sword to his back, making sure his sound dampeners kept either the stranger or the Hero from hearing the movement. Heroes usually weren't too friendly to Core and him once they figured out who they were, and he wanted to be prepared in case this one wanted to make trouble.

IC: Echo - Hide in Shadows +3 Echo switched off his visor light and remained hidden in the shadows. Best to make the stranger Core had approached think there was only one of them.

IC: Alex Drift and Gabriel Bliss - Makuhero City Bliss leaned back in his armchair and continued to do what he been doing all evening, namely ignoring the chattering TV, sipping a fine glass of RoboJolt, and crocheting a squid. He hadn't seen Drift for the last few hours, when his roommate had headed out for a walk to the marketplace. The pilot had said he needed some things, but he hadn't elaborated and Bliss hadn't pressed. The veteran finished a tentacle and winced slightly as he heard the door to the apartment open in the next room. Quickly stowing the mess of yarn and his needles, he got up and went to help Drift with the groceries. Drift had brought in several large paper sacks of fresh fruits and vegetables along with machine parts for the contraption he'd been building. Bliss looked questioningly at the other Hero and gestured at the food. "Saw a couple homeless guys," Drift grunted, heaving a melon out of the bag. "Figured it'd be nice to make 'em some food." "Can we afford this? Not that I disapprove, but-" "Yeah, sure. All this stuff was on sale. You know anything about how to prepare organic food?" Bliss shook his head slowly and said, "Nope." He grinned suddenly, "But that's not gonna stop me from making the best salad of all time."
