30 day free trial. I'm so pumped up right now. Just finished JTO and the series is straight up lit! The trailers had me nervous, but the execution on the actual show was outstanding. It well surpassed my expectations. Congratulations to the LEGO and BIONICLE teams on producing a quality series and I look forward to the next 2 episodes. Plus the extra prologue with the 2016/015 animation combo was nice.

Sweet; I dig it! Thanks for clearing up a lot of the Bionicle misconceptions out there! I learned a lot and this changes my perspective on Bionicle.

The graphic novel says that the Mask of Time in the new story is said to be only the upper half of a full mask, and that the place it is housed in (the Temple of Time) acts as a gateway between worlds or something like that. It also says the lower half of the mask is missing. As someone who isn't particularly interested in seeing the two generations connected, this reads to me a lot like they are screaming "the Vahi from the original story is the lower half of the mask!" But people are actually pretty divided about that being the case, so make of it what you will. Hrm. A gateway between worlds. A teleporter. Yet why would one want or need a teleporter unless there were other worlds to explore? Worlds that possibly have life on them? Maybe these are the worlds where the Toa came from, the creatures that inhabit them are the Toa's creators. Maybe Bionicle could be like Star Wars, with thousands of worlds and many different alien races. A cooler, elementally charged Star Wars. Or, do something like the plot behind every Doom game ever, where the portal opens of its own accord and monsters spill out onto Okoto. Maybe Makuta has retreated to a distant planet to build up his army, then unleashes it to conquer the world Ekimu exiled him from. Oh gosh please no! This will turn into some weird Marvel universe ordeal and will end up with Disney buying the rights to Bionicle. Knowing them they'll probably say that all Bionicle books and comics (like the Star Wars Expanded Universe) are not cannon!

Not a fan of high pitched villain voices. Reminds me of Starscream from Transformers, but then he was just a subordinate sidekick. The main villain should sound menacing, not silly. Yeah, personally I had hoped that for Umarak the hunter they would have a darker voice that would give him a more hunter esk vibe. Something that would make the toa fear him when hunted, or at least be weary when they hear his voice from the shadows. Y'know what I really think needs to be done? I think there needs to be more official artwork of Okoto. That's kinda what made the island of Mata Nui feel so mystic to me was all of the artwork of the diverse environments. It really established the mystery and serenity of the island. MNOI & II also kinda established that as well.

Y'know there was just something about Gali 2015's mask that seemed right for her. Just like Gen 1, it had this femininity to it that doesn't seem to carry into the other female sets. Although, I still wished it had a visor like Gen 1 did. That was always an unique attribute of the original Kaukau. My favorite 2016 mask is going to have to go to Kopaka's mask. I really like the eye piece and I think it compliments the gun he has on his arm quite nicely. As a personal fan of anything tactical and gun related it spoke to me. Need I mention the silver on white combo?
