  1. Keep in mind that the items you see on eBay HAVEN'T sold. Items there that get listed below market value sell pretty quickly. But there are still loads of people buying overpriced items on eBay when it would be much cheaper to source them from bricklink. For example the Grey Rhotuka is ~$90 on eBay but ~$40 on bricklink. I would use bricklink as a better gauge of "market value". Historically I have bought bulk lots that are great deals if they have collectibles or sets I'm missing. That doesn't happen very often these days, but it's still at least once every six months. I'm still short a couple Nuva masks and half a dozen kanoka, but I'm not in a rush because once I'm done with those, Kraata will be the only collectible remaining, and I don't see myself ever finishing those. It's crazy to me that putting together a complete kraata collection costs more than all the other collections combined...
  2. I think progress is only stored in the metadata where you can "hack" your inventory. Have you tried reading the metadata variables to see if anything looks out of place? It might be that a flag didn't get triggered properly. For example, the code might turn on the flag to allow that charm dialogue when you buy a fishhook ONLY if your current fishhook quantity is 0 and that specific charm quantity is 0. If this specific example is true, you would have to sell all your fishhooks then buy one for the dialogue to pop up. I remember amassing 999 widgets only to find the bug where that one guy in onu-koro "gives" you 25 widgets, but they didn't do widget=widget+25. Instead they did widget=25. All those Po-Koro/Ta-Koro runs for nothing...
  3. Welcome to BZPower! In general, instead of reviving an ancient post, I would suggest you create a new thread with the list of what you are looking to buy. There is currently a WMKK listed on bricklink, but it is quite expensive.
  4. Thanks for the interest! Any suggestions are welcome! I would say I am aware of the "missing" items, but I wasn't wanting to include by default things like the "euro misprints" or white huna/brown Komau since they weren't originally very feasible to collect everywhere, and I don't want people to feel like they "need" those to complete their collection. The prices on those are way too high already. ( But in the next upgrade I would like the ability to turn those on). I think my next big step would be to build a camera jig so I can take uniform pictures of everything. You'll note the McToran and Rahi masks are poorly recolored versions of the others so they look out of place. Editing the current page is extremely slow, so I would like to make the backend more efficient at the same time I drop in uniform pictures. I unfortunately don't have a scheduled timeline, but I would like to do all this within the next couple years.
  5. If I remember right that medium blue Kakama sale was $4,500 USD, not euro, and I think that was only the 4th known one at the time. The economy was a lot better back then, and I think that was at the height of the COVID/post-COVID craze. Collectible hobbies in general seem to have cooled off a lot since then. I believe this is the 11th MB Kakama to pop up, but there have probably been more private sales I am unaware of. A buyer on reddit mentioned he bid on the $4,500 one and lost, but was recently approached with a private offer for a different one. I am guessing a decent number of the high bidders still in the game have already bought one privately at this point, so another Facebook auction would be very unlikely to even reach $2,250. The last public auction I am aware of was February 11th with one bid for $1,673.12, and that was after it had been sitting on bricklink for $2,000 since December 30th.
  6. I think most 5-hole owners don't realize they've got a mis-mold. I intentionally got mine from a regularly priced Teridax. They seem to pop up enough that you don't need to pay "market pricing" (which I think is extremely inflated) if you are just patient.
  7. 5-hole Kraahkan on a normally priced Makuta if anyone is looking for one. I've already got one, or else I would have nabbed it. Seller has 0 feedback though. https://www.ebay.com/itm/316732012932?mkcid=16&mkevt=1&mkrid=711-127632-2357-0&ssspo=ucyugfebqwu&sssrc=4429486&ssuid=w3NMvHySR-2&var=&widget_ver=artemis&media=COPY
  8. Copper Komau for $111, $21 less than bricklink. https://www.ebay.com/itm/376035659499?mkcid=16&mkevt=1&mkrid=711-127632-2357-0&ssspo=qqbJln9dR7q&sssrc=4429486&ssuid=w3NMvHySR-2&var=&widget_ver=artemis&media=COPY
  9. I've never seen one, but it does look real. The Bohrok legs were also used in the Metru pens, so I wouldn't dismiss it for that reason. Unfortunate that none of the parts seem to be unique to Piraka pens besides the pen clip and the bead printing.
  10. Yeah, they have been popping up in Denmark the past few years in used lots. Three popped up on reddit a few years ago. Since then one guy in particular has flipped several of them. So there should be more than 5x. My guess is the seller of this one told the OP he sold 5x, so I am guessing there have been 8x found. If I remember right, 3x of the ones that were found have cavity/mold numbers of 3 01 (Cavity 3 of mold 1). The molds hold 4 cavities, implying a minimum of 12 were made. But I highly doubt 100% of the ones made will ever be found. I need to reach out to this guy to see what his mold numbers are. I can't tell from the picture.
  11. The Kaukau Nuva is likely from one of the bootleg "Invincibility Robots". There is a Tahu Nuva from this brand for sale on eBay, and you can see from the back that the mask is painted. To my knowledge all bootleg Kraata are hard plastic. The prototype Kraata I have seen are rubber.
  12. Perhaps silver was the initial plan for the Voya Nui Matoran, but they couldn't get transparent silver looking right for Dalu?
  13. Tahu Nuva store display for $70: https://www.ebay.com/itm/116415103749?mkcid=16&mkevt=1&mkrid=711-127632-2357-0&ssspo=Whpvbx2mT9q&sssrc=4429486&ssuid=w3NMvHySR-2&var=&widget_ver=artemis&media=COPY
  14. I've never seen it before, but it looks legit!
  15. My memory isn't 21 years old perfect, but it doesn't need to be when you have screenshots!
  16. From all the pictures I can find, it looks like the "bubble" variant was just the ejector pins either not fully retracting all the way before the next part was made, or the ejector pins were too long to begin with, and they were faced down in early production. I think a prototype kaukau mold would have had a thinner rim on the stud (and it looks like you can see that on the prototype dark blue one mentioned in the threads linked above). All the Kaukaus I have are from cavities 1 to 4 of mold 01. If someone with a "bubble" variant can find 1 01, 2 01, 3 01, or 4 01 mold numbers on the back, that would confirm it was from a production mold before they fixed the ejector pins issue. If that's the case, it would be interesting to know if it was just an issue on one cavity (like the 5 hole mask of shadows) or if it was on all 4 cavities. I have seen a couple pictures of a white prototype huna (looks the same on the back and the front as the yellow/orange huna prototypes, no part number, no mask number, and no mold number). The production version of the white huna first showed up in 2003, and the original owner said he pulled it out of a '01 mask pack. It was later traded to someone else then mailed to a BZP admin who confirmed it was real. If you look on the back you will see the part number, the mask code, and the mold number, which is in the format X YY where "X" is the cavity number (For the couple dozen Rurus I have, they only range from 1-4) and "YY" is the mold number. I have Rurus from molds 01 and 02, but I only have a few from 02, and they are all from the nui-rama or Nuhrii.
  17. So this is actually really interesting. He mentions the mold number 01, so that verifies it was made from one of the production molds, not a prototype mold. Mold 01 had 4x cavities, not 2x, so there were at least 4x yellow Rurus made without codes on the front. If someone finds a fifth yellow ruru (or two of them with matching cavity numbers), that would imply that there were at least 8x of them made.
  18. Thanks! Can you provide a close-up of the rock monster? Sadie thinks this one might be a prototype.
  19. For fun I made a website for tracking my Kanohi/Krana collection. I made it using JavaScript and CSS. I thought I would publish it so others could use it, but there aren't really any free web hosting services that let you use both JavaScript and CSS, so I ended up putting it on WIX and reworking the code to Velo (their tame adaptation of JavaScript). This records the selection data within the query-string of the hyperlink, so when you share the link, other people can see what you selected. (Hopefully this is a good feature for trading) Bookmark the page or save the link to “save” your selections. There are also filters for the type and element/color if you are only interested in the ‘01 green Kanohi, for example. Thanks go to biomediaproject for the pictures! This is still a WIP, and I need to add rahi, matoran, and promo masks. I’m not really into Kraata, but if I add those, it would certainly be its own page. Here is the link: https://takuasblog.wixsite.com/parts Also, for example, here is the link for the status of my current collection: https://takuasblog.wixsite.com/parts?G=......&n=......&k=........&v=........&N=.t..t.
  20. I think the coins are probably more rare than the trans-green miru and the copper huna promo masks, but only because those were free and (I assume) you had to pay 51 cents for coins. I think demand is low, but I agree with you that they are a cool pickup. I bought a set of the four different types last year for $11.50 shipped, but I don't see them pop-up often. I think the most rare one was the one with Matatu that said "TAHU NUVA TAO OF FIRE". But when they "fixed" it, they just corrected the "TAO" to "TOA". Or it might be the "fixed" one is more rare. There is a picture of the two for comparison at the bottom of this page: http://209.221.138.252/Details.aspx?location=1427
  21. Hau Nuva penny from Legoland for $8. https://www.ebay.com/itm/315701684336?mkcid=16&mkevt=1&mkrid=711-127632-2357-0&ssspo=qnnt-x8TTZS&sssrc=4429486&ssuid=w3NMvHySR-2&var=&widget_ver=artemis&media=COPY
  22. See the attached PDF for my entry. Since this is Vakama/Hordika, it would probably look best as black print on a Metru-red shirt (as visualized below in the lower quality PNG). The PDF file is black/white and of higher quality.T-Shirt 2024-DS.pdf
  23. You are asking if one of the six Piraka came to Voya Nui in Ahkmou's canister? I don't think that is likely.
  24. I love the banana for scale.
