  1. IC: (Jamie) Despite Lucan's yelling reaching fever pitch it could not force the Deerling from reaching him at full speed at knocking him flat into the ground. The Vanillish kept screaming his heart out as Serena smashed him into the ground at full force, he tried one last-ditch blast before the Deerling's assault knocked his fragile body out. While she was not happy with Lucan being knocked she was admittedly relieved that the noise had finally stopped.

"Go Sir Tristan," she said as the Metagross came forth from his pokeball.

Fighting Sir Worth again are we? Very well En Garde, The Metagross said upon seeing his situation

IC: (Gawain) Gawain still searching back to his master saw Mewtwo fall in the water for a bit before barreling out of the water.

That's them... he thought as built up a underwater sand storm with Muddy Water to launch himself back up.

IC: (James) So this is the result of Energon's research, James thought as he saw the Porygon-Z.

OOC: Short IC for James for now. Umbra where are the many one on one fights you promised? :P

  2. IC: Despite the increased intensity of the Hyper Voice, the Deerling charged through the sound waves and landed two light blows on the Vanillish. Being amplified by the Vanillish's weakness to Fighting caused Lucan a good deal of pain. Enough that it amplified Lucan's screams increasing the output of the Hyper Voice.

The increased voice had the unintended effect of giving Jamie a serious headache.

  3. OOC: I found my movesets.

IC: Covering her ears, Jamie yelled "Sir Lucan, don't let yourself fall asleep, use Uproar!"

Lucan began shouting at the top of his... lungs (how does Ice Cream breathe?) launching sounds wave which drowned out the soothing Grasswhistle and bounced in the ears of those present, trainers and pokemon alike.

Maybe this wasn't the best idea...

  4. IC: A Deerling is it?

"Come forth Sir Lucan," she said as she tossed the Vanillish's pokeball to the ground.

Lucan appeared from the pokeball and a had a short fright when he noticed he was on a battlefield. This subsided however when he noticed his opponent was not intimidating in appearance.

"You can have the first move." She said waiting for a response.

  5. IC: Jamie managed a small smile before saying "Thank you," as she walked towards one of the bases practice arenas. Ethan followed her as they walked through the base and after a short while reached the battlefield. She took the far side as Ethan stood on the side closest to the door.

"This will a be three on three single battle, is that okay with you Mr. Worth?"

OOC: Now to go and look up Jamie's pokemon's movesets because I don't think I have used her pokemon once since the forums came back. That's a problem. edit this is wrong please ignore. because I honestly don't remember.

  6. OOC: Rewards sweet. What to pick, what to pick...

    IC: *Meanwhile*

"Well while Gawain takes care of that one, does anyone wish to take care of these Sharpedo?

"Shortly after Gawain took Floatzel away to fight it, three Sharpedo began attacking the boat that the group was in."

My main aquatic fighter is currently preoccupied; the fact that they are submerged is not helping..."

IC: The events with the legendaries flew by so quickly that Jamie was hardly able to respond (or maybe it was just laziness and lack of ideas of a bad RPer). So when she found herself back at Rustboro base, she was a little surprised. She was mad, although looking at her it would be tough to tell that. She was pretty good at hiding her emotions, but she was definitely not in a good mood. She felt powerless, that she was too weak to help fight the major battle amd instead was sent back. She needed to vent and she needed to be stronger. A battle could help with both.

"Mr. Worth, would you like to have a battle?"

  7. IC: Hmm this may be a good opporotunity, James mulled over with himself as he pulled out Gawain's pokeball.

"Come forth, Sir Gawain" he said as the large mudfish pokemon appeared in the water.

He had little time to gather his surroundings before the Floatzel reacted to his appearance with a several sonicbooms. The impacts hit Gawain but he did not seem largely damaged. He instead launched himself at the Floatzel and pulled it under water. The Swampert pulled the Floatzel down towards the bottom and began to wail on it with a vicious frenzy of an attack. The Floatzel managed to pull itself out of the Swampert's grasp as used sonicbooms effectively as form of both attack and as a method to propel itself away from Gawain. In response to it the Swampert made a torrent of water and dirt from the bottom.

If you looked from above you could see a vauge outline of it.

The torrent crashed into the Floatzel pinning it against a reef until the onslaught subsided although the attack left the effect of sand and dirt being spread around diorenting the Floatzel.

    Too bad for him...

A minute later the Swampert, after having the left the Floatzel above water (OOC: They are mammals, right?), rose to the surface near to where the boat had been.

  8. OOC: I AM THE ONLY PERSON WHO CAN WIELD THE AWESOME POWER OF CELEBI IN THIS RPG!!! MWA HA HA HA !!!

Okay I am kidding on multiple levels there. The nature of multiple Celebi's is disputed (although time travel makes the whole point moot) so if you wish to embark on a quest to find one, well that's your problem, or people on Liberty's side have the option of asking James to borrow the one he has with him.

IC: "Odin, Vili, Ve" Jamie muttered to herself, taking note of the three new Deox...(what's the plural for Deoxys?)She wanted to say something to the six eon pokemon who had also just been restored, but she could quite figure what to say, so she remained silent. She looked towards Ethan hoping he would say something, but he was silent at the moment as well.

OOC: Short IC for now, busy I am until next week, and still waiting for Umbra.

  9. IC: James didn't have too much data on Energon, besides what the rest of his team knew, which annoyed him. He perferred knowing as much as could on an opponent before engaging them, but he didn't have too many sources.

I have questions for you Mr. Vero, but they can wait.

"A submerisible, but not submersed?" James said. "Good I would like to keep it that way. I only have one pokemon that I can say is... at home underwater."

Turning towards the Gallade and Garchomp he asked, "Did you see how Executive Aaron is faring? Did you see if he is holding out or about to be overwhelmed?"

IC: Jamie wasn't sure which event was more awe-worthy. The Alpha-Deoxys healing the Eon pokemon, or her healing herself with a drop of blood. Although it really didn't matter she decided, as the six legends at that moment were waking, one pair already awake enough to start levitating. She sighed in relief, a moment ago she was afraid they had gotten there too late.

  10. OOC: I haven't posted in... I need to post.

IC: James (and by association Guinevere) had more or less followed his fellow team-members onto the boat, however the fact that teleportation was blocked disturbed him. Teleportation was not only his main source of travel, but more importantly it was his way out. He felt less comfortable about the mission, than he did before, because he going into a situation that his main escape route was blocked. Though he didn't look it, he was nervous, perhaps he was even a little scared. He knew where the boat was going he wouldn't have internet access for a while so he simply pulled out a book to calm his nerves.

Seeing the book Guinevere asked What are you reading James?

    "Le Morte D'Arthur"

Eh? Guinevere although not knowing for certain the (whatever Poke-French is) words, she had a good guess.

  11. OOC: Whoops, looks like things are starting without me *grumbles to self about business/laziness mixed into one post defying week*

IC: James and Guinevere had briskly walked a fair distance to reach the docks. The workers at the dock seemed quite busy for one reason or another, but it wasn't they whom James was looking for."Vero, Vero, Vero" James said quietly as he looked for Cyan. He knew who he was fair enough, but it had been a while since he had seen him.

Catching the sight of the familiar face he walked over to him and said "Mr. Vero, or would you perfer Sir? I heard that there is a problem with Executive Jayron and thought to lend my assistance."

IC: "Understood, Ma'am" Jamie Arthur said.

OOC: Really short post for Jamie, because I have little ideas of what to right plus it 1:15 right now, and I need to get to bed. Good night.

  12. OOC: And since I finally have time again, I should make this post...

IC: Having done similarly to whatever Parugius meant, Jamie tried to look for Ethan. She found this difficult due to the great number of people there that day but eventually saw Ethan at the entrance.

"Hello again," she said as Ethan turned towards her.

"Do you have the details on our mission?"

IC: James and Guinevere walked out of his office but only could walk a few feet before his cell phone rang, alerting him of two seperate text messages. One alerted of the return of Silvermind which received an internal reply of "Excellent" and the other saying "Executive Jayron out of contact; See Cyan for details. Location: at the docks"

    Interesting...

He had a different destination in mind when he left his office, but he changed his mind and headed towards the docks.

  13. IC: After taking necessary precautions James and Guinevere appeared on Four Island. They walked into the base healed his pokemon and walked to James' office for truly the first time since it had been assigned to him. It was a nice room befitting an executive although James did not plan on staying for long.

"Alright what is next?" James muttered to himself.

You are planning to go out again already?

"Of course there is work to do. The Darkrai are running amok over Hoenn, I cannot afford to take a break right now."

Alright, Please do not overdo it.

"Don't worry Lady Guinevere I will not."

IC: "He was... unnerving," she wasn't quite sure how to put it into words but the being she saw was off in ways she could not put into words. Perhaps because she didn't know enough about it.

  14. IC: James already knew what the outcome would have been, specifically why he did not order such a rash move. He got out three pokeballs even before the events had finished transpiring. Noting that Percival was still sleeping, he knew the Guinevere and Galahad could not win this fight on their own, and if Lancelot and Mordred failed to defeat even one of his ghosts, then it was unlikely any of his others could at this rate. Even Celebi was at a major disadvantage.

There is no more information I can gather here and now. I can't even defeat one of his pokemon.

He was silent as he retreated both Lancelot and Mordred and sent out Guinevere. He had lost to his enemy. One who was most definitely too strong for him at his current level. There was only one thing for him to do.

And in a flash they were gone.

    IC: "Very well then."

She felt uncormfortable with leaving the problem in someone else's hands, but as long as it was taken care of...

  15. OOC: Sorry about my slight absence. Musical has kept me busy. Oh and sweet.

IC: The flames were placed in a perfect position defenesively. They definitely were not placed half badly for offense either. They left almost no opening for an attack. Mordred knew it, Lancelot it and James knew it. In fact they hardly were able to avoid them much less find an opporotunity for an attack.

"Darn it, there is no opening, think.... What can I do?"

Mordred and Lancelot had the growing feeling that there was no hope for victory in this battle. Something that their trainer had already taken for a fact.

"Hey Lancelot" Mordred said in Poke-languageish thingee.

    "Yes?"

"If we are going out, how about a last blaze of glory?"

    "...hmph, blaze of glroy indeed."

At this the two seemed decided as both of their claws begin glowing darkly.

What? I didn't give an order, James thought before realizing what they were doing cursing at himself inwardly.

The two charged, with their full tenactiy at the Cofagrigus, and while the flames did envelop them, draining what health they had, they hit their target.

IC: "What really? So we are just going to leave Team Aqua alone?"

Pelleas took a little sigh before grabbing Jamie's arm again. Most of the other trainers had used Surf, but Jamie used Pelleas and Lucan to create a swiftly melting icebridge that Pelleas was virtually carrying her across.

    Quite nice really.

OOC: Interesting contrast between the two posts :P

  16. IC: Mordred is down, and he does not have any special moves, not like that would make much of a difference anyway. I suppose I do have one card to play.

He activated a pokeball's transparent form, whispered something to it and tossed producing a Scizor. The Scizor charged at faster than one would think a Scizor would normally go as it launched a flurry of Bullet Punches at the Cofagrigus. They didn't seem much damage at all but, one of his hands slipped. Specifically one holding Mordred. The Weavile immeadiately used Agility (OOC: almost forgot I even had that on his moveset) to escape from the clutches of Cofagrigus. They retreated to a bit of a distance ready for James' next order. However Mordred began staggering slightly, but managed to stay standing.

That burn is taking its toll on Mordred. I need to find an opening from which I can launch an attack before his time is up...

  17. IC: "Mordred dodge it!"

But the downside of getting an actual blow in was that it left Mordred open to the attack as the orbs engulfed Mordred before dissipating leaving the Weavile burned. He responded almost automatically with a Faint Attack that while hitting seemed to do very little if anything.

This is getting progressively worse. Mordred's effectiveness is severely cut. This may come back to bite me but...

    "Sir Mordred use Ice punch."

His arm grew blue cooling down the burned area although a wince of pain was shown in Mordred's face with launched toward Cofagrigus with the punch.

  18. OOC: And since a post has been made in my name, I must post. :P

    IC: This can't...

"Gawain get out of there now!" James yelled, a rare moment where he lost his cool.

But it was too late, the Shadow Balls moved with incredible speed, and struck Gawain dead on. What's worse is that he didn't have time to put up a proper guard and thus he felt the full force of four shadow balls. They sent him flying before causing him to fall with a thud.

As James retreated him he thought That Cofagrigus withstood a Muddy Water like it was nothing, and he defeated Gawain in so short a time...

"Go Sir Mordred!" he said and released a Weavile.

    "Use Night Slash on Cofagrigus!"

Sensing the urgency in James' voice the Weavile arms grew dark as it's arms launched a strike at it's opponent.

OOC: We need to figure out what happened with Ethan-Jamie-other people group, I don't like having an inactive character. Though I may make a third soon. Hmm...

  19. IC: The orbs came in fast and Gawain, knowing he would not be able to dodge them and probably not reflect them with strength, braced himself for the impact. As he made no to avoid them, the attacks struck him dead on doing major damage. However Gawain still stood strong.

It's a good thing his defenses are as good as they are, James thought.

He paused for a moment before issuing the next command. He wanted to use Earthquake, as it was Gawain's strongest move, but thought about what the consequences would be if he did so. Earthquake was definitely not the most discreet move.

"Use Muddy Water Sir Gawain," James said and the Swampert complied unleashed a wave at Cofagrigus.

OOC: Question, is there any reason why James wouldn't be able to Teleport right now?

  20. IC: "Hmm maybe not, but it ought to make this battle more... informative. Gawain, have you learned anything new?"

The Swampert smiled as a thought of an attack rushed into his mind. It created a stream of both water and earth and launched it toward the Shadow ball.

    It was no contest.

The Shadow ball completely dispersed the attack.

Gawain managed to dodge in time upon seeing his attack being destroyed.

That was Muddy Water, one of Swampert's more powerful attacks, but it was no match for that Shadow Ball.

"Gawain launch a Mud Bomb at Cofagrigus."

The Swampert complied creating a ball of mud and launched it at Cofagrigus.

  21. IC: Dankaro was pleased to see Kakoriko village as he had no real love for hiking, and down a mountain with monsters was only slightly more pleasant than walking up that same mountain. The had run into several more Tekitites on the way down. However they posed little threat to Darren or his charge as he had grown up fighting such monsters and he knew how to fight them. Dankaro went off ahead of his Goron companion to speak to the guard about opening the gate. Darren however took one last last look at the mountain."Feh." he said quietly to himself as he caught up with Dankaro as the gate was opened."Alright we're through, now to head off to Zora's Domain," Dankaro said completely not caring that he was just about to enter Kakariko and not leave it."Right then," Darren said and two proceeded past the gate.

  22. IC: "Alright then, our next destination is Zora's domain. Our meeting with our potential supplier is in three days. If we travel through the night, we should be able to make it there. Then we can take some time to prepare."Darren was not really listening. He had no reason to as he was not the business type. He let Dankaro take care of his business. All he cared was that he got his money."If we continue our pace we should reach Kakariko in..."Darren lept in front of the Deku Scrub as a Red Tektite sprang out and tried to attack Dankaro. With a massive punch, the goron smashed the monster into the side of the mountain."We must be more careful, monsters still populate this mountain.""Yes... of course..." he said slightly shocked.Well this is what I am paying him for Dankaro thought to himself.

  23. OOC: Sweet time to start posting.IC: Dankaro checked every last thing in Darren's backpack. He liked to be thorough, making sure that he had everything before leaving."Are you done checking everything," a large Goron said as he entered into the room whre Dankaro was."Yes just now. We have all our supplies, pens, paper, the wares that we can sell on the road, and our money is accounted for done to the last green rupee.""So can you finally stop worrying and let us go already."The Deku Scrub turned around towards his companion."You seem to be very interested in leaving this mountain. Why? You have a problem with being home?""You pay me to protect you, not talk about home.""Touchy... very well we got the contract we wanted here. Our client will supply the guild, our job here is done. Very well let's go."The Goron picked up the large backpack and followed the Deku Scrub as the two left the inn that they were staying at and began to make the long trek down Death Mountain.
