These are really cool and have some copious personality to go around. Colors are eyecatching and it definitely feels like an actual LEGO theme.
Where'd you get the helmets for the Antibodies, btw?

I renewed my Adobe license for this.

I am having a ball reading this. Can't wait for more.

Mostly because they aren't supposed to even be on shelves until, uh, today (September 1st). The Praetorian Guard looks dope!

THIS IS THE HEADLINE I LIVE FOR

I'd also very much like a Heimdal minifig, if we're talking about wanting Thor-based minifigs.
-
I know nothing about the Elves 'verse, but dang, the trailer for that Netflix show looks like a lotta fun.

Classic Tahu.
Lhikan & the Kikinalo.
Axonn.

Metru-Nui was cool once. Especially in late-December 2003.

A+ for names.
Colors seem down, could use some steam engine-y bits, though.

If we're talking about what is and isn't canon, I don't see why we should take their set appearance as 100% canon. Unless the Greg Spirit has specified otherwise, we know from WoS that Muakas don't have treads and are basically built like actual machairodonts; and that ash bears don't actually have a freakishly-enlarged arm. Tarakavas are likely the same. Either that, or they have propellers.
I don't know how I feel about that. Half of what made Muaka (and Kane-Ra) so cool to me was their tread hind-legs. Why can't the Tarakava be like some amalgamation of crabs and seahorses?
They're described as lizard-like. It makes more sense for them to resemble the things we're told they resemble. As it stands, they hardly fit that description.
Earth lizards are not like Bionicle lizards.

The old man eyebrows are dope, but the brick-built robe is what takes the cake for me.

It shows up every now and then. I think I have the same Clone Wars set as Kumo, and I think one of these showed up in an Exo-Force set too.

If Lego were open to mature content I'd rather see licensed Mass Effect sets, both system and constraction.
Imagine all the derpy Andromeda faces in Lego form.
Finally, the human heads from SW put to good use.

Because I want to star alongside him in a romantic buddy cop movie as we search for the madman that ate all the pies.
Why?That one guy who was extremely concerned about the consumption of every pie in Po-Koro.
I'd watch it.
So, the X-Files.

Same for me. And I didn't even try this time.
As is for me too.Well, this is a first for me.

Not gonna lie, this is 50% of why I'm super stoked for this movie.

I like the last photo a lot. It's the one where the scale is least apparent, but, I'm also realizing how unphotogenic those sets are.
Piruk alone might be my second favorite, btw.

Never really cared for the Ussanui but Takanuva was the flipping 7th Toa.
Lhikan is a bit more complex. The Kikinalo is so cool, but, Lhikan! I guess if I had the option, Takanuva is one I'd rather in two parts; Lhikan I love the bundle.

Back in my day having an Avohkii was pretty serious.

This reminds me how cool the Lhikan set is. Seriously one of the coolest.

Alright, finally, a home for my new favorite joke.
Why does everyone get along on the Sunshine Catamaran?
Because it's a friendship
