Holy cow. I had a brainblast of memory, was ranting about pre-social-media times, and reminded myself of this place for the first time in SO long. To paraphrase SPIRIT: My name is Tomiku, the progenitor of a meme that got way out of hand, and I... am an arsonist a former sprite comic creator (and unapologetic lover of gift with purchase Tahu). So glad to see this place still exists. I won't be hanging around, but had to reminisce a bit. If you see me elsewhere on the internet, I go by MikuJess now, say hi! Looks like there was a forum wipe at some point, but my old things still seem to be up on Brickshelf under my first name, rcxmaster, if anyone else wants to browse some nostalgia. Cheers, folks! ❤🖤🤎🤍💙💚+💛

I just had to post this here as well. Other than the first panel, this all actually happened. Seriously. If you don't know what trombone suicides are, please don't get the wrong idea, it's not what it sounds like.

And I approve of you turning into a tank in midair. XD I assume your username is your nicknames for the three faces? I call them Monocle, Terminator, and Yzarc (spell it backwards). And while we're discussing this... My Astrotrain repaint:

UPDATE: Concert was awesome. The Jr. band was better than I expected (AKA they didn't suck. Except the two percussion players, who were in their own little world and sounding like they were playing an entirely different song). They played a march I'm not familiar with, Spongebob Squarepants (conductor donned an eyepatch for this one) complete with the "Are ya ready, kids?!" intro (I screamed "Aye aye, captain!" so loud the guys in front of me jumped out of their seats), and The Tempest, which I actually played back in elementary school. Then we joined them and together we played Raiders March in honor of the new Indy movie. Then we (just community band) played In Storm and Sunshine, English Folk Song Suite, Galop (yes, there's like a bajillion songs with this name, all I know is that it's mid-17th century and inspired the Marine's Hymn), Themes Like Old Times IV (so old I didn't recognize any of the songs, lol), and Nessun Dorma, then the choir performed several songs I didn't recognize and one that was a mishmash of various patriotic songs. Then we had a surprise appearance by the band directors' Zydeco band (my old band director was playing washboard and the spoons, lol). Then we closed with a Sousa march, the Pathfinder of Panama. I hate playing Sousa marches. And so do half of the rest of the tubas. And most of the French Horns. Combine the two parts and you get a polka-like "oom-pah oom-pah" throughout most of the song. Oh, and I got the phone number of the cute girl that was playing string bass. Also, there were a few songs we practiced that we didn't perform. One was Cajun Folk Songs by Frank Ticheli. I love Ticheli's music, I was quite ticked that we didn't play it. But we did suck at it... That seems to happen a lot. Whatever band I'm in starts practicing a Ticheli piece, I grow attached to it, then the director decides we can't play it well enough and goes with something else. That's happened 4 freakin' times: Shenandoah, Nitro, Vesuvius, and now Cajun Folk Songs. I did get to perform his version of Amazing Grace in honor band, though. That was fun. ... Dang, long comment. I'll probably make this a new entry tomorrow...

Alive. Barely... But alive nonetheless. I used to think my life was bad. I look back and laugh at the very notion. At least, I would if I felt I could actually laugh at anything... Let's recap what's happened since my last blog post. It was discovered I have Crohn's disease, and accompanying that is rheumatoid arthritis, a non-cancerous tumor the size of a softball on my pancreas, and the only medications strong enough to work quadruple my risk of cancer and heart disease. I also can no longer take some of my psychiatric meds, so I'm very depressed and irritable. The extended hospital stays resulting from this means that I failed this school year and now am pretty much forced to get my GED as I can't attend school regularly until either my meds get sorted out or the doctors give up and give me a colostomy bag (don't ask). I've been robbed. Twice. I haven't been to my dad's house since... Heck, I can't even remember. I could care less about dad, but I really miss my (half)brothers... I can barely even remember what they look like. My grandmother (dad's mom) recently died, and my great-grandfather (mom's dad's dad) is in bad condition, but that is to be expected of someone of his age, he's over 90... And my great-uncle (mom's dad's sister's husband) is not doing much better. One of my best childhood friends had a baby (she's 19) and she doesn't know who the father is. My would-be girlfriend's parents are going through a nasty divorce, and I'm too far away to be of any help (hence the would-be). And on top of that, my mom's boyfriend has moved in, and there's no way possible to fully and accurately describe the man without large amounts of expletives. But for starters, he's bigoted, hypocritical, racist, thieving, lying, discriminating, etc. Oh, and let's not forget what all this is doing to my mental stability! Did I ever tell you guys I sometimes have problems with multiple personalities? It's happened 3 times in my life. The first time was when I was in elementary school; I don't remember much about this one, along with the rest of my childhood. Then, around the time I started highschool, my other half was a sadistic, evil son of a maha that made up plans to take over the world in his spare time and occasionally wrenched control of my body from me and physically assaulted family members. I called him O'Malley (from Red vs. Blue). Then, my latest one, who just appeared a few months ago and is still hanging around. Pretty normal when looked at as an individual, but weird and awkward when compared to me. First off, female and incredibly girly (and constantly complaining about being stuck in a guy's body). Second, relatively mature, wise, and has a good grasp of everything that's going on (I may be intellectual, but my common sense and ability to apply my knowledge to real-world applications is lacking to say the least), as well as a surprisingly effective psychologist and counsellor, which is weird considering how she came about. Very social and outgoing; I'm a pretty quiet guy that prefers solitude. Then throw in a large dose of general weirdness, one of the few things we actually have in common. She's actually the first of the three that I get along with. Also the first that has a full name, which I will not reveal, but her first name is Jessica. And unlike the other two, she hasn't done anything to make my life more difficult. If anything she's actually improved it. So, in short: my life has gone to Karzahni, and being crazy is FUN! IN OTHER NEWS! If anybody's in southern Louisiana this Sunday, me and the rest of the Bayou Community Band (as well as the Jr. band and the choir) are having a concert, PM me for details if you wanna attend. I'll buy you dinner!

I've been known to blab and give things away accidentally, so I'm just gonna say two things before I let the comic speak for me. First, the title: I haven't decided whether it's in reference to Charlie's Angels or ****'s Angels, at the moment it could go either way. And secondly... This will not be a simple two-sided conflict between Autobots and Decepticons, with non-TFs joining one side or the other. No, things are planned that will blow that mindset out of the water... And with that, I present Episode 1. This frame featured a censored word. - Shine I'll admit, I kinda rushed on this one... Explosion effects turned out nothing like I wanted... But here's Episode 2.

Yes. You rock. But I RAWK! XP Scrap any plans for me and Brickfair. Only way I could come is if we won the lottery or I sold my tuba. Former is unlikely, latter is NEVAH GONNA HAPPEN, FOO'! XP

First part: my skills at drawing hands are relatively equal to my skills of drawing in general: they make your eyes bleed. XD Second part: I honestly don't have a clue what you're talking about. 0.o I've been gone too long...

Darn it, this is the third one I've fallen for... First mom told me she was pregnant, then Draco (I introduced you two, remember?) told me he had his left pinky amputated... And then I start getting depressed that your sis is in a coma. Yeah, I got owneded BIG time...

Heh, I know, I have bad memory with dates too. The only reason I remember my grandmother's is because it's on Independence Day. And I remember my little brother's because it's two days after mine. And my mom's is the month before mine on the same day of the month. Anybody else's birthday I can't remember. XP Srsly, I can't even remember my dad's, my other little brother's... It's sad. Well, not really. I hope you can make it through all of this in one piece, LK, it sounds rougher than anything I've ever been through, family-issue wise. I'm getting a bit anti-social at the moment too (I told you why) but I'm still here if you wanna talk. And Happy Anniversary, LK's mom and dad! Hopefully it was a joyous occasion this year and helped with some of the stress.

Captain's Log Vacation Update #2

Wait, Captain Sparrow as in Johnny Depp? The real Johnny Depp? *bleep*! Lucky girl... I want his autograph... And maybe some of his fangirl magnetism would rub off on me or something. Have fun at SeaWorld! I've never been there, you'll have to tell us all about it! Oh, and at first I thought you said you had dinner with Shampoo. I was like, "Wait, is she at SeaWorld or an anime convention?" Then I remembered the whale. XP @phobos: She traveled, took a cruise boat; I'm pretty sure she's Canadian... Or Alaskan, I forget... Man, why are all my online friends up north? One in Alaska, three in Canada, two in north Cali, one in Michigan, one in Rhode Island, and now LK's moving to Tennessee... Oh, and let's not forget my one friend in Poland, two in Japan, and *counts on fingers* four in Malaysia. Then there are a couple that I have no idea where they live... And family in Cali, South Carolina, Hawaii... See, this is why my dream job is to be a physicist. I want to work on a teleportation device. And I can study quantum mechanics, parallel universes, string theory, dark energy, and all that interesting stuff nobody else my age cares about... Ack, nerd rant, shutting up now... -
Wait, so your parents won't let you meet people from the internet, yet they don't mind you giving them your address? If I had known that I would've asked years ago and would've been sending you junk all this time. No, seriously, I don't have space for... Well, anything. I need somebody to give all my origami/kirigami/etc. stuff to, and besides you everyone I can think of is in Canada (blargh, shipping fees! ). Toss me your address after you move, alrighty?

Captain's Log Vacation Update
Tomiku commented on Kallista ~ Little light's blog entry in blogs_blog_796
@TPTI: Yep, that's the one. Annoying, that one is. Hey, do they have Thunder Mountain at Disneyland? I've only been to Disneyworld in Florida, and that's one of my favorites... So are the Epcot parades and the watchamacallit in the giant golf ball... Epcot's probably my favorite sub-park.
