  1. IC: Lekona - Halls Lekona nodded, and followed the Vo-Matoran. Somewhere quiet and away from all of these others was what he'd prefer. He'd spent so long by himself he wasn't good with a lot of others. He wouldn't mind if the Ta-Toa didn't follow as well. The presence of one with the Element of Fire was reminding him of his old friend.
  2. IC: Lekona - The Halls Lekona stopped dead in his tracks when he spotted the Matoran's glare. A Vo-Matoran...could this be the one the Queen had referred to? Well, I didn't intend to search for that person, but if they're right here...but first, I'd like if she stopped staring at me like that. "What is it." Lekona asked, rather plainly. Then a Ta-Toa came up, extending their hand for a shake. I shouldn't have stuck around. "Lekona," He responded to the Toa of Fire.
  3. IC: Lekona - Lower Level Hall Lekona continues walking through the halls. They seemed pretty big. I'm sure that Queen had mentioned something about an Upper Level...How far do I have to go for stairs?
  4. IC: Kaleva - Near Neuf They were back at the armor now. Kaleva glanced at his exo, a small smile spreading across his face as he looked at it. He saw the Matoran who had left the group who went into town earlier, carrying a barrel. Geez. What did he get, and why does he need so much? Kaleva also saw two more Matoran come out of the armor. That's at least five beings on the crew of this armor. Hardly a minimalistic group.
  5. IC: Lekona - Arena Lekona had seen all he needed. He had a purpose now, and he didn't need to hear anymore here, and while he could seek out that Vo-Matoran the "Queen" had mentioned, he didn't really feel the need to. He'd be here for awhile, so he thought it better he become acquainted with the facility. Plus, I'd rather not be in the Arena, in case someone else decides to anger the ones in charge here, and give us all another shock as a result. Lekona gave another glance at the Rahkshi that had caused the first shock, before leaving through one of the doors, walking into the hall.
  6. IC: Lekona - Arena Where am I? Naturally, the first thoughts for anyone who is in this situation. An arena with plenty of strange individuals waking up around him is very different from wandering without meaning in the jungles, as Lekona had for...weeks, months, it might've been years now since his failure. Realizing that whoever had brought him here could've taken his stuff, Lekona scrambled to check. His sword was there, it's craftsmanship and shine unmistakable. The same was true for his armor. He took off his mask next. Without it, he was dizzy and weak, but he had to know so he focused through it. It was his. The one made by his best friend. He would wear it with pride. Memories put a brief smile on the Toa's face as he placed the Kualsi back on his face. Wherever you are, let the Great Spirit keep you safe. As his strength returned, Lekona noticed a voice in his mind. Saying something about the reason they'd been brought here, some sort of fighting tournament. While many would probably be enraged at being ripped away from their homes for some being's entertainment, to Lekona, it was a blessing. He had nothing to go back to in his home, and this tournament would give him what he had missed for so long - purpose. His happy thoughts were interrupted by a jolt of pain. As Lekona regained his composure, his gaze shifted to, and narrowed upon, the rahkshi who had been stomping forward moments before, and was now on his knees. It had been an eternity since Lekona had been happy, and the moment had been ruined by that rahkshi's actions. He was fine with others wanting to escape, but be smart about it, do it out of their sight...besides, this was a rahkshi. Seemingly a highly intelligent one, but a rahkshi all the same. There was one being Lekona knew he would be pleased to take down in this tournament.
  7. Name: Lekona Power/Weapon 1: A sword; an ordinary one, though rather shiny and golden. Power/Weapon 2: Kanohi Kualsi; a mask that allows Lekona to teleport himself and objects to a location within his sight range. Power/Weapon 3: Standard Elemental control over Air. Appearance: Lekona is a slender Toa of Air; he is primarily dark green, with lots of golden armor. Bio: Lekona was a lone Toa who successfully guarded a small group of Matoran of various tribes for quite some time. Lekona became quite accomplished and capable through this time, but at one time, while Lekona was on patrol, their village was attacked and completely destroyed. This destroyed Lekona's drive, and led to him wandering, depressed and drained of the joy Le-Toa are known to have. It was while he was in this state that he was taken from his world. To Lekona, Bionifight is a saviour, giving him new purpose. Personality/Other: Male. Unlike most Matoran/Toa/Turaga of Air, Lekona does not use treespeak. He once did, but since the destruction of the village he protected, he has abandoned it. Outside of the arena, Lekona is indifferent to most things, though he does find himself bored, so he won't mind going along with others on adventures if he finds their company enjoyable. In the arena, the thrill of the fight and having a purpose fills Lekona with joy and allows him to act like his old self again. Lekona values his golden armor, kanohi, and sword above all else. The armor and sword were crafted by a close Po-Matoran friend from his village, and the Kualsi by his best friend, a Ta-Matoran not of the village, who Lekona hopes is still safe wherever he is. They were given their brilliant shine by a close Av-Matoran friend who acted as the elder of the village Lekona once defended. Due to this, despite their shine making him an easy target in the arena, Lekona continues to carry and wear them with pride.
  8. Valeka's gonna be completely destroyed if you end up stealing his suit. xD
  9. IC: Kaleva - Neuf I nodded to the tall being. "Sure thing."
  10. IC: Wekan - Neuf "Is that so?" I said, turning to the familiar matoran. It was Horic, a Fe-Matoran. He was the Onslaught's loader. Considering all the rumours that had been floating around about Nomansland, if Golu wanted us to gather for something important, it probably had something to do with that. Well, it was about time. "Let's not keep him waiting then." I told the Fe-Matoran, as I finished putting away my purchases.
  11. You can just have Horic find Wekan walking around Neuf near the Tavern.
  12. IC: Kaleva - Neuf I had of course tailed the tank to its current makeshift parking spot. Seeing the tank open and individuals start walking out, I got out of my Jäger and got out and... What in the Great Spirit's name was that? These were the first things in my mind when I saw the first individual who walked out of the tank. His armour was blue and black and he was about as tall as a Vortixx...but he wasn't any species I had any seen. This kept getting more interesting. Having gotten out of my suit, I walked over to the tall being, waving. "Hey! My name's Kaleva."
  13. IC: Kaleva - Neuf Plains Ugh, is anything even happening anymore? At this rate, might as well go bac-- my thoughts were interrupted by the sound of voices up ahead. The guy in front must've gotten through! Brimming with excitement, I channeled by elemental power into Jäger's thrusters, giving my exo a burst of speed. When I stopped, I was walking right beside the other suit now. "Hey!" I shouted to the other exo's driver, "If you're talking to that armour, could you tell them that I want in too if they're headed for Nomansland?"
  14. IC: Kaleva - Neuf Plains Well, this wasn't going terribly well so far. The armour wasn't stopping. Still, I don't want to lose this opportunity if I don't have to, so I started following the other exo-suit, keeping pace with the tank.
  15. IC: Kaleva - Neuf Plains The tank was closer now, so I approached it with the Jäger. Wait, who's that? I thought, noticing another exo-suit greeting the tank. I was fairly certain I'd seen the suit before. Ah, it was that one that would always speed off in the direction of Nomansland. Maybe he wanted to hitch a ride to where all the action was going to happen too? Well, it might make things a bit easier, seeing as I honestly hadn't given much thought to how to ask where they were headed and if I could come along. I was right next to the other exo-suit now. I decided I'd hold my tongue for now, see how things go for the other guy, presuming he is here for the same reason as me.
  16. IC: Kaleva - Neuf Plains Not far from Neuf, an exo-suit was going for a stroll. It was being driven by a Ta-Matoran who was far too enthusiastic. It'd been a few days since I had heard news of the rumours of treasure in Nomansland. Naturally, this excited him. Not for what would excite others, the money, the glory, the power. I was excited for the fighting. With something this big, there was no doubt there'd be some good fights, and I wasn't going to let this go by without doing what I love - fighting other exo-suits in my Jäger. I could always go with the Neuf military, I was already part of it after all, but I'm not what one would call a patient matoran. A military is large, it takes time to get organized and get moving. But a small mercenary group? There were probably a few already on their way, and more likely soon would follow. Besides, fighting with a small ragtag group seemed more fun and less constrictive then rolling with a huge military. Luck hadn't been on my side in finding such a group yet though. I'd been doing a small search through town for any mercenary groups wanting to follow up on the rumours, and then checking out the plains on the off-chance of finding a mercenary group passing through. There'd been some groups in town, but none leaving yet. His patience was starting to wear thin. Then, I glanced to my left, and spotted what looked to be a heavy tank having a bit of trouble at one of Neuf's checkpoints. There was an exo-suit with them. The tank was pointed in his direction, so when they got going, they'd come right to him. I looked in the direction the tank was likely headed. Could they be headed to Nomansland? I thought as a grin across my face spread across my face Its worth a shot to ask at least. I looked over at the group again. It seemed like they were getting through no problem. They'd probably come this way then. Well, when they do, I can ask them if they're heading over there myself. I thought as I turned Jäger towards the tank.
  17. Hm, I think I'd be interested in taking up this offer and finally actually making a character for this thing. xD Sure I know you just posted some characters, but if you're interested in making any more, here's the reference post for the Jatikko and it's crew Kaleva is actually the character I made for joining up with the Jatikko crew if you guys were cool with it.
  18. Finally posting my profiles! Name: Wekan Species: Vo-Matoran Gender: Male Powers/Gear: Wekan wears a powerless Kanohi Akaku, which, like most Akaku, is equipped with a telescopic lense. Wekan also has a wrist-mounted Edd for use of his Element, Lightning. In addition, Wekan has a Disc Launcher that has been customized to hook up with his Edd, making it easier to channel his elemental power to the disc or launcher. The disc launcher is usually stored on his back. Lastly, on his belt, he has a radio and tablet stored on his left side and a protosteel sword stored on his right side. Appearance: Wekan's appearance is quite standard for a Vo-Matoran, having blue and white armor, with his Akaku being blue. His body and upper leg armor is white, while his arm and lower leg armor is blue, though a lighter shade then his mask. Personality: Wekan is a strategist at heart, always calculating, always thinking. He doesn't speak much, but when he does, he is very blunt and to the point. Despite this cold exteror, Wekan grows attached to others quickly, but he tends to suppress this, as he knows well enough that the battlefield is a harsh place. Bio: Wekan's past is nothing complicated. Being from Neuf, he joined their military, and was eventually put on the Onslaught as its Navigator. Armor: Onslaught (Navigator) Name: Kaleva Species: Ta-Matoran Gender: Male Powers/Gear: Kaleva wears a powerless Kanohi Kualsi, wears an Edd on his wrist and carries a protosteel sword, as well as a radio. Appearance: Kaleva is a slightly taller than average average, with primarily red armor, with some of it being yellow. His powerless Kualsi is red. Personality: Kaleva, like many Ta-Matoran, is hot-headed. He lives for the thrill of the fight, and doesn't really care who he's working with or their goals as long as he gets the opportunity to fight once more with his Jäger. Bio: Kaleva was raised in Neuf, and when military training introduced him to Exo-Suits, he fell in love with them and Exo-Suit combat. He dove into learning how to build a good Exo-Suit and how to fight well in it. The recent rumours of treasure in Nomansland have reached his ears, and he knows that a situation like this means great opportunity for new fights. He could always go with the Neuf military, but Kaleva is impatient, and would go with anyone if it means the opportunity to go earlier. Armor: Jäger Armor Name: Jäger Category: Exo-Suit Armor Appearance: The Jäger sacrifices armor for agility and speed, making it smaller then most exo-suits. Like Kaleva himself, the suit is red and yellow. Crew: Kaleva Loadout: Heat Blade - a retractable arm blade attached to the underside of Jäger's right arm. In addition, Kaleva can use his elemental power to heat it so it can cut through enemy armor more easily, though he can only do this for a limited amount of time. Shield - due to Jäger's lack of armor, Kaleva knows he needs more then his Hau and the suit's speed to keep himself alive. He has a shield attached to his exo's left arm for defensive use. Elemental Cannon - built into The Jaeger's left arm, with the cannon's barrel being in the wrist, Kaleva uses this when he needs some range. Due to the compact size, its weaker then most elemental cannons. Thrusters - powered by Kaleva's elemental power, these thrusters installed in the suit's feet are used to give Jäger additional speed, but they can only be used in short bursts. Even though Kaleva has lots of experience powering Jäger's elemental weaponry, its still not easy for him. He can only use any of them in short bursts, using two of them in quick succession puts a lot of strain on the Matoran, and using two at the same time is impossible. Kanohi: Hau Hoping I didn't go overboard when designing Jäger. xD
  19. I was planning on my guy being from Neuf anyways, so it works out perfectly for me.
  20. Hm, I think I'd be interested in taking up this offer and finally actually making a character for this thing. xD
  21. This is just so great. Its exactly why I adore the new launcher, the fact that they're so easily built into all kinds of tools and weapons - in the actual Protectors or custom built - is just awesome, and that alone is what makes me prefer them over every previous launcher.
  22. Amazon.ca doesn't have the sets unfortunately! I'm beginning to rethink if Bionicle did even make it to Canada. xD -NotS. Nah, its here. I picked up almost the entire line from a Mastermind Toys. Tahu and Kopaka were both sold out though, so still missing those, and about half of the sets I did get were the last they had in stock.
  23. Okay, I've actually been meaning to read this a number of times, but just didn't sit down and really read it until I watched the TTV Interview the other day. Amazing work, Nick. Loved every step of the way, and very excited for the next arc.
  24. Now seems like a good time to stop being a lurker. Ah, so excited for this. I was convinced before, but having something undeniable like this coming from Lego.com is very nice to have. Only way it could be better is if we had an official announcement. All in good time... Looks like I'll be putting aside some of my curd gaem money for 2015. Can't wait!
