Here it is: the oldest existing topic on BZP, from October 15, 2001. NOTE: Do NOT post in this topic. Just reading through it...WOW. We've all learned to spell much better, it seems. Someone even curses in this old topic. How much we have grown. When you look at all of those old topics, you see some of the presently-well-known members (no one in particular) posts there, and you wonder how they could have actually typed that borderline-incomprehensible stuff. It takes you back in time, doesn't it?

"If I see you playing with anything during the movie, I will take whatever it is away and not give it back. If I see you doing homework, I will take it away and not give it back. Look at the third one. Yup, ads are always effective when they're in a foreign language. And what exactly is nukearab?

I just came home from mass, as on every Sunday morning. After I washed the grime of the pews off my hands, got a drink, and waited for the computer to whirr and chortle to life, I of course visited the BZP homepage, checking for news on Bionicle. And, of course, I spotted the Blog of the Week article (although the title was a little hard to read at first).

C'mon, everybody, lets all happy-dance! You're Awesome got BotW!

A big thanks to members who read and continually comment in this blog of mine. Here's just a few tips for anyone who's never been here before: Yes, this blog is massive -- even totally cluttered at times. But I live here, after all. Just try your best to ignore the mess, and no littering please.

Well, I'd like to stay and chat, but I have to go on an overnight trip to Michigan around 2:00. Too bad. But, as Schwarzenegger puts it,

I can't believe you stumbled upon this entry.

This index is a list of terms that I intend to give information on. Essentially, it is a directory for what will eventually make up Category 472 -- the reference section of my blog. The names will be linked to the places they are described in once they have descriptions. Feel free to comment for suggestions.

UPDATE for Summer 2008: I'm still working on this project, silently. Red text denotes that I have completed an article. The write-ups get very long and detailed, so I won't be adding anything online until I figure out what to do about that, probably at least not until the whole list below is in red.

UPDATE Aug 2009: Although this project is still on my mind, it is on hiatus for all the while I am in school this coming year.

This is something I "discovered" a while ago, and it seems that it would be something rather interesting to post.

    Link

The above link is the list of results that you get when you search books on Amazon.com. Yes, first you have the LEGO BIONICLE books sold through Scholastic, but there are way more results than that if you look further (like page 5 further). Amazon not only searches book titles, but excerpts from books as well. And if you look at those excerpts (click on "see more references to bionicle in this book"), you see that many authors have either spoken of, commented on, or included Lego Bionicle sets in a book of theirs in some way. It's pretty interesting to me, because it shows how many people out there are aware of this great toy line. Makes us feel like we're not so small.

    Someone comparing Bionicle to Pokemon.

Someone commenting on the seemingly "uncanny" ability in little kids to assemble Logo sets with ease.

    Bionicle...too violent?

    Remember Andy Mac from '01?

Someone complimenting LEGO's approach to creating toys for kids.

What would happen if you were stranded on a raft in the middle of the ocean and you drank ocean water? I don't claim to be a science genious, but...The salt concentration in the water would cause the cells of your body to lose water (osmosis or something). You would become thirstier. Your body would expel the water of your body through over-urination. Your body would become dehydrated. You would eventually lose enough brain cells to the point that you start hallucinating and eventually die. So, as much as it seems like the practical thing to do, if you're ever stranded on a raft in the middle of the ocean, don't drink the sea water. Thank you.

Hey, guys, happy October! My lego mag still has yet to come, sadly (for me).

My blog has a new name now: "Planetperson.rpsn." I was just thinking of what else I could use as a blog name, and I came up with a little gag about a file type. Lame.

Bored? Sunday, I know. Don't feel like doing homework? Me neither. How 'bout you poke around some old MoL drawings on my Maj? I'm not exactly sure when I made them (a while ago); but they've been on my Maj for a long time now and I've never posted them anywhere on BZP. My blog seems like a good place to do it.

I think I'm gonna have a much better entry tomorrow. I've been meaning to post something cool. See ya later .

They've added the new Toa Inika .mpg on Ghost A/S. For people who care about that stuff .

Ugh. I still need to get all of my 2006 sets. Vezon & Fenrakk and the Toa Inika finally arrived earlier this week, but Kongu was missing :annoyed2: . I had to call customer service, and now they're shipping Kongu out to me. After this, I still need to get Umbra the other three play themes.

Ah, those times when people on BZP butcher the spellings of Bionicle names. Sometimes they're mild, sometimes they make me cringe, sometimes it's just outright hilarious. I've often thought about compiling a list of common misspellings so people can get them straight, but in the past I've never had the means or the patience.

Gee, I wish there would be a place for me to record all of those misspellings of Bionicle words and then post them to help the fans out when spelling stuff. But only guys with blogs like me could ever do something like that...

    Hey...wait a minute! A guy like me? I'm a guy like me !

Here's the place to list your favorite misspellings of Bionicle names on BZP. Whenever you spot misspellings, just post 'em here and I'll list them up here for all to see. C'mon guys, lets put an end to those popular misspellings. Together, we can make a difference! So, in all its glory...

    Crikey!

Bad news coming out of Austrailia today. "Crocodile Hunter" Steve Irwin has sadly died at age 44. He was in the midst of filming a documentary off the Great Barrier Reef when he was killed in a freak stingray accident. Stingrays are naturally passive; and in that area of the world, deaths caused by stingrays are almost unheard of; but, when threatened, stingrays will lash out with a toxic, sometimes 10-inch barb on the tops of their tails. Steve was filming a documentery off the Great Barrier Reef when he got spined by a stingray -- a very rare occurence. The spine went under his ribcage and straight into his heart, killing him. Steve had many close friends in his work and a family, so this is most tragic.

    [img=http://www.majhost.com/gallery/DihydrogenMonoxide/RatherRandomStuff/crikey_sig.png]

On a happier note, there have been MAJOR updates to Bionicle.com! Three new "articles" in the top news section sum it all up.

There's a cool new quality animation, much like the ones made for the Toa Hordika and the Mask of Life animations but made by a different company. The good thing this time is that it never freezes up right in the middle! Remember that image with Reidak and Piruk that BZP received earlier this year? This is the animation it was eluding to. The animation is quite beyond any style that Bionicle has done before, and it was hard to follow the story (if it was even trying to have one). It's main purpose sees to be to showcase the Piraka in action (including giving them powers that they don't even have). What's kinda cool is that there are a couple of mini-games within the movie. It's pretty lengthy, too -- it's not one of those little animations that's over before you know it.

There's seven new quicktime videos in the movies section, too! Some of them are way too short, and all of them are commercials. The wierdest one would definitely be the Piraka Stronghold commercial (you'll see). What's really awesome is that we finally see Brutaka, Axonn, Vezon, and Fenrakk all in CG!

Ignition #2 is finally online now, given "animations" just like the last one. Nothing too big there. Already read the comic.

But why are you actually reading some stupid description written by some random BZPier? Go check it out!

Have an awesome Labor Day! No school rules!

The Lehvak were the swamp Bohrok, one of the six breeds of Bohrok swarm. Their head-plates housed red Krana, which were telepathically directed by the Bahrag.

    History

The Great Beings created the Bohrok machines 100,000 years ago, placing them under the guidance of the Bahrag queens. The Bohrok's purpose was to scour clean the outer surface of the earthen dome housing Metru Nui and its silver sea, which protruded out of the ocean of water on the planet surface like a large island, should anything have settled on it. This was supposed to ensure the well-being of the Great Spirit, Mata Nui, in some way. The Lehvak, along with the five other Bohrok breeds and the six Bohrok Va breeds, were stored away in chambers combed with individual containers located beneath both the outer surface of Metru Nui's dome as well as below Metru Nui itself. The Bohrok were put fast into hibernation to awaken only when they received a sonic signal when the time came for them to perform their task.

No inhabitants of the universe were ever intended to live on the surface island. Because of circumstances surrounding the Great Cataclysm 1,000 years ago, however, the Matoran of Metru Nui were forced to emigrate to the island. The Cataclysm had also caused a massive conduit of energized protodermis beneath the island to rupture and wash over all its terrain. The substance caused massive transformations in the landscape, bringing forth plantlife and sharp climate shifts where before there had only existed a rocky wasteland. The changes acclimated the environment nicely to suit a new home for the Matoran, who named the island "Mata Nui" in honor of the Great Spirit. Eventually myriad species of Rahi beasts settled on the island as well after the Matoran.

This disruption of Mata Nui's original state allowed the Makuta of Metru Nui to exploit the Bohrok's function. The Makuta of Metru Nui came to Mata Nui 999 years ago. Intent on perpetually harassing the Matoran and keeping them from ever returning to Metru Nui, less than one year he awakened the Bohrok prematurely in order to bide his time after his first defeat by the Toa Mata. The Lehvak and other Bohrok quickly emerged from their chambers in droves, rampaging across Mata Nui and devastating its lush landscape. To defend the Matoran and their home, the Toa Mata continually put up resistance against the Bohrok swarms. The Bohrok, however, never attacked the inhabitants of Mata Nui unless they directly obstructed their mission; they simply campaigned across the island intent on reverting it to its original barren state.

Many Bohrok, Lehvak among them, were incapacitated in the struggles against the Matoran. The Matoran realized they could dismantle fallen Bohrok and rebuild them into Boxor vehicles.

The Matoran considerd the Lehvak to be the most dangerous Bohrok type, since their acid spray was capable of rapidly dissolving any substance on Mata Nui. When the Lehvak invaded Le-Koro, Turaga Matau and the resident Le-Matoran put up resistance against them. The Lehvak slung their parasitic Krana onto their faces to enslave their minds to the swarm, ending their threat. Toa Lewa, when he came to investigate Le-Koro, also fell under their control. Toa Onua later rescued Lewa, and a group of Matoran with Boxor vehicles rescued Matau and the Matoran.

Lehvak also lay siege to Po-Koro to reinforce swarms of Tahnok and Pahrak. Their arrival heralded the evacuation of the village.

After a week of the Bohrok's rampages, the Toa Mata ventured down into the Bohrok nests to challenge their source of direction: the Bahrag twins. The Toa Mata successfully sealed the Bahrag away in indestructible protodermis with their elemental powers. The Bahrag's telepathic link to the Bohrok's Krana was severed, and all Bohrok stopped in their tracks.

After the Bohrok were defeated, the Matoran found out they could remove their Krana and give them new commands verbally. The Matoran put the Bohrok to work rebuilding the damage they caused to the villages.

The emergence of the Bohrok-Kal failsafes sent a signal that caused the Lehvak and other Bohrok to return to their nests automatically. The Toa, transformed into more powerful Toa Nuva, narrowly stopped the Bohrok-Kal from restarting the swarms; but the Bohrok swarms remained underground, dormant in their nests.

The later defeat of Makuta allowed the inhabitants of Mata Nui to move back to Metru Nui.

Recently the Toa Nuva returned with better knowledge of the Bohrok's relevance to the will of Mata Nui to the the Bahrag's lair in order to free them and restart the Bohrok swarms. With no Matoran living above to be threatened, the Bohrok awoke a second time, this time successfully wiping out the Matoran's old homes and reverting Mata Nui back to its original state, although they met resistance from the wandering Kardas Dragon from Voya Nui. The Kardas Dragon took out a number of Bohrok machines but was severely beaten down. When the Bohrok's task was done, they returned to their nests.

Wednesday, September 6, 2006 BIONICLE Legends #4: Legacy of Evil -- in my opinion, it is by far the BEST Bionicle book yet. Read the book and be enlightened to all of the true events behind BIONICLE 2006! Do not think you can get the story without it! It has a beautiful plot that stretches over seven-thousand years of storyline, and in the end it gives you perspective on the Piraka that you would not have expected before. It reveals many things: what the Makoki stone, makoki being Matoran for "key," really is; Makuta's role in his own Brotherhood; Appearances by Lhikan and Nidhiki; a Toa of a new element; the beginning and the end of the Kanohi Dragon attack on Metru Nui; several Dark Hunter cameos; and months of BZP theories either utterly blown away or proved right once-and-for-all. This is the ultimate guide to understanding 2006.

    It's a MUST HAVE.

Here's the answer to last night's puzzle. Congrats to Toa Tempus for sloving it.

All right, I got something good for ya:

Alright, somewhere on this entry block there is a link to a printable form of this entry. You can do that if you want to try this problem hands-on.

In the above diagram, you must connect square A to A, B to B, and C to C with three (3) separate lines (don't have to be straight). The lines cannot cross each other, cannot go outside of the boundaries, and cannot pass through another letter's square. Got it? Simple, right? Get to it. And no, the answer is not this .

I'll post the answer sometime later .

Yesterday was my first day of school. And I can tell you, even in the "excitement" of starting a new school year , I didn't want to go back today. Got some new kids in my classes -- some cool, some not. And I still see a few old friends even if we don't get the fun of being stuck in some stuffy classroom together for 43 minutes a day. Some of my new teachers I could see right off the bat that they were all right, others are real pieces of work. Actually, some of my teachers have been well spoken of; and I knew in advance that I would be getting certain teachers. Oh, and guess what? Yesterday's weather fitted the mood perfectly -- rain, thunder, and lightning.

Well, I had to blow off a blog entry yesterday because I got so much darn homework :annoyed2: . Yeah, some of you early grade school kids are probably thinking What!? Homework on the first day!? Even though I got up at 7:25 AM yesterday, the adrenaline rush of seeing people that I couldn't have cared less about over the summer again got me through my day.

Today was...very different. You see, once I get through the first day, I just don't care . I mean, I've already visited every one of my new classes, so what's gonna be new? The fatigue of yesterday really hit me today. Ouch. I faked consciousness throughout most of my school day, and then made my way home by bus and train as I always do. Once I got home, I loafed around for a couple hours, watching TV and stuff. Then right before dinner I crashed in my bed for three and a half hours. I had dinner at 10:45 -- 40 minutes ago.

Ugh. School starts TOMORROW. This is my last day of summer vacation. This is it.

Now, I live a ways from my school, so we're obliged to host a car pool in our neighborhood. Of course, I'm not so enthusiastic about it at all. So, I proudly present:

20 Ways to get kicked out of Car PoolInstall a novelty car horn -- La Cucaracha will rock the house...er, carDon't take them backBlast the stereo and show off your hydraulicsHave your dad-behind-the-wheel remain unshaven with disheveled hair -- go for the Beethoven lookHave an argument in a foreign languageTell them to drive"Garlic, anyone?"Suddenly realize you left all of your homework at home 2/3 of the way thereGo somewhere else -- the wrong school usually works nicelyMake it seem like you missed car pool at first, then show up outside their house about mid-afternoonParticipate in the occasional drag raceCasually mention the illegal drugs stitched into the upholsteryGo the "long way"Go the "short way"Refer to the passengers by the wrong namesKnock over their mailbox as you drive in (and a couple of garden gnomes too, if you can manage)Decide you're assertive enough to drive down the center of the road"Sorry, kids -- I'm not used to stick shift"Run out of gas on the first dayDrive backwards the whole way thereBe habitually late -- the old classic

Wednesday, May 31, 2006 Another school day, and it was a drag. It took so long for that bell to ring. My head was too full of dreams of summer vacation to learn. It's not over yet, though. I have to study for tests tomorrow, tests later this week, a large group project that's doomed to fail, and finals on the last three days of school. It's...like...the teachers are trying to make us suffer more while they still can!
