  1. While the sentiment is appreciated, Ballom is right on point. We would rather not have our inboxes filled with messages. Perhaps encourage members to create works of art, mocs, blog posts, or even changing their sigs would be a better focus. On that note, this video really isn't really anything meriting it's own topic, neither does wholesale staff appreciation. While we always value that appreciation, we don't need a full topic dedicated to people telling us over and over again that they appreciate us. Besides, we have to keep our rampant egos in check somehow. ;)Anyway, topic closed.

  2. That depends entirely on why the topic was locked. If the topic was breaking the rules, yeah, obviously it's not a good thing.Topics aren't just closed when the topic starter breaks rules though. A member in the topic might post after the topic has expired, which breaks a rule. There's also topic closings that aren't bad whatsoever. For example, after your question has been fully answered and/or taken care of, this topic will be closed same as all Q&A topics. Some topic starters may also ask to have their topics locked.

    «Takuma Nuva»

    Thanks Takuma. :)Answered and closed.
  3. LewaswinginIt's been a while for me, so this might not make any sense. Also, spoiler alert.2005: Metru nui is ruined and taken over by spider creatures. Toa Metru turn into infected versions of themselves. Also features a set with boobs?2006: Story returns to the present. Matoran return to Metru Nui and start repairs. Turaga Dume and Nuju find out that Mata Nui is dying. The Turaga send the Nuva on a mission to find the Mask of Life on Voya Nui, which will save Mata Nui's life. Jaller notices that the Nuva are gone, and the Turaga won't tell him where they are so he leaves for Voya Nui with his own team via a different route. Along the way they all turn into Toa with lightning powers along with their elemental powers. They face opposition in the form of the piraka and Brutaka.2007: They go underwater. They transform into the Toa Mahri so they can breathe underwater and fight Barakki (spelling wrong). Didn't really pay attention.2008: Tahu Nuva transform again. Mask of Life transforms into a toa-like form. We meet some light matoran and some infected matoran, along with some of Makuta's species. Mata Nui is actually a robot hidden in plain sight but Makuta took over his body. Metru Nui was his brain. Mata Nui was his head that grew life for some reason.2009: We go another planet. Mata Nui is a toa? There are Agori. I honestly stoppped paying attention.2010. Bionicle stars. Makuta and Mata Nui have a mecha fight. Line ends.
Thanks for the rundown.Anyway, not much else to discuss here. Guess we'll close this down.
  4. That sounds like a good idea. Also, if you´re both using the same computer, it´s possible his validation email didn´t work because his account had been deleted, thought of as a duplicate account of yours. In that case, I suggest you PM Black Six and explain the situation.-Gata signoff.png
This would indeed be the best course of action. Thanks Gata.Topic closed.
  5. Chaos in the Deep was nothing compared to Staff Survivor. That will always live on as the real staff rpg.
    WORD.
It was the most fun, and it had member involvement through voting on who they wanted kicked off each week. It was great!
Remember the point in the story when we all got naked and romped around?Remember when I totally went global and owned everyone's sigs? ;)Remember HOW HARD i tried to convince Jen to let me bring potatoes to the island?Oh man and the challenges, oh man...

  7. Long ago, T-Hybrid and his story, Te Mutunga, were godlike in my eyes. He was number 1 in posts for the longest time, and so one April Fool's Day he unlocked a wondrous new post rank - Clikits. That was a good day.Whatever happened to him, I wonder? His profile says he hasn't visited since October, and I don't recall ever seeing him post since I've returned, so I'm guessing he's been gone for a while longer than that.
He's alive, spends most of his time working and going to Twins games from what i know. :P
  8. The four types use different molds (with different part numbers). The shapes are the same, but the points where the colors are injected are different. Many places, like bricklink, don't differentiate between the two green forehead styles, which can look very similar, so it can be difficult to find a double green. Here's an old, poor quality pic I had on brickshelf of the four types. From left to right, red forehead (type 2), double green forehead (type 4), green forehead (type 1), stripe forehead (type 3). The difference shown here between green and double green is the largest I found after looking through several dozen of each, it's normally much less distinct.-quoted pic-
Thanks for the clarification Pohu, it's a big help.Well, that should be enough info to answer the question, so we'll lock this topic up.
  9. Watch the double posting guys, I've merged three separate instances of double posts. Just as a reminder, we do not allow you to post in a topic again until someone else has. If no one else does so for an extended time then just let the topic die or start a new one.

  10. After thinking about it last night I did come up with another change I think would be of great benefit to BZP. CoT is and has been a mess since the days when I was active. All the RPGs and games have clogged the discussion up. I'd split the board into at least a CoT Discussion board and a CoT games & RPGs board if not even more boards.
    I'd be down with that.
I know this one is an older post, but I do want to speak as to why it is the way it is and won't change.BZPower's focus should be on Lego/Bionicle. It's the kind of site we are first and foremost. We don't want to devalue those themes by adding additional forums that are not focused on those at all. Hence COT remaining one forum. It may be a little messy at times because of this, but it's intent is to be a singular place to discuss other things outside of Bionicle/Lego and not a main focus of the site. We view it as a side attraction and thus we treat it as such. There are other forums out there that offer a more wide variety of things to discuss and we do not feel that is our role to fill. The RPG judge process is an attempt to limit the amount of RPGs that clog it up and I very rarely approve any games. Most of the ones there are just ones that were running before the forum upgrade ever took place.
  11. Ah, yeah, fair enough points. I would suspect Microsoft has a gameplan for it though, but I suspect as long as they toss it on iOS for iPad, they'll hit a big enough market saturation.
