I don't mean to be negative, but the fact that this new update has essentially wiped the slate clean has killed any interest I might have had in the return of BZP. The forum simply won't be the same now that 10+ years of history have literally become history, and I don't see myself spending any time here beyond replying to the occasional fan fiction topic.

bzpower.com/forum The history hasn't gone anywhere. This new board needed a clean wipe to improve server performance and to clean up the database (think about it, the old one held millions of posts).

Nope, I'm filling out full time job applications for post-graduation work seeing as I'm in my last year of a Computer Science (Comprehensive) bachelors degree.

No conspiracy folks. Updates for the member spotlight were likely turned off so as to not interfere with the upgrade process. Anyway, there isn't much to actually talk about here so I'll just close this topic.

Yeah, there are a few quirks like that left over from the transfer of data. It likely has to do with how HTML was stored in the database tables and a difference in how the forums pull it out of the tables to use. Deleting the html code and readding your own returns will fix it. Topic closed.

The only thing worse than the PSN outage. Because it was.

Considering we didn't have tons of (private) user data hacked, I'd say we did a little better.

Since we already have a topic to discuss what you did while the forums were offline and because there isn't a whole lot to discuss about a list of random events that happened while the board offline, this topic doesn't serve much of a purpose. With that said... Topic closed.
