You mean like the rest of the island already does? There are at least three individuals after the ILS in person already, I happened to witness one of them trying to hire assassins to send after Madrihk in Po-Koro while I was posting as another of my chars.
-
We wouldn't be taking over Xa-Koro, we would be establishing a presence there. Forming alliances, making deals, trying to get people on our side.
-
New quest: Ko-Koro in need!
-
A refugee from Ko-Koro has arrived to ask the ILS for help in stopping the events happening in the region. What do y'all say? Should we let Xa-Koro rest for a bit and move most of the team to Ko-Wahi instead?
-
I think it would be safer to send at least one proper ILS representative that way too, otherwise the hired guns might burn down the place to "liberate" it per-emptively.
-
We shall turn it into a bustling metropolis of island domi liberating goodness.
-
Well, even though Trakuda is dead, we could ask someone he knew about the cave like Soli-- never mind.
I wasn't giving Vorex the satisfaction of knowing about anything in advance, but yeah, Xa-Koro seems like a good place to liberate. There is definitely a bunch of people there, though. Also, these are tough marshlands to my knowledge, and they have a lot of outcasts and stuff. We'll have to go about this peacefully, but of course Madrihk will try to incorporate said hardened outcasts into the ILS somehow.
Joined forces > passive civilians > outright enemies. And then we point those new joined forces somewhere else.
-
True. Let's quickly discuss some team structure here, then we can move on to planning our next goal. While it would be nice to repeat the Pala-Koro success in another region, I hesitate to move the brunt of the force away yet. The Turaga are still there, and if the ILS moves then the area is left mostly empty again. Perhaps Madrihk could hand over control of it to the Gukko Force or any ILS members that may choose to remain there.
Nuju is gone for the month, though, so it's safe to say that both the Parakuka plot and the Obelisk mystery will be at a standstill until he returns; no matter how natural it would be for our characters to investigate both. Skaarn spoke of spiders and EP, but since that can't be confirmed IC (and is debunked by default OOC) it makes little sense to search for any of those.
So, I propose that some of the team takes a trip to the southern shore and fetch our boat; followed by scouting out Ga-, Onu- and Xa-Koro for a place to set up our next "regional liberation". This would open up the option for some thrilling side quests, I'm sure.
If you got ideas, post 'em here.

Ok, I'm back. Could I have a basic overview of what happened?
I believe it would be better if it's not spoken of at length, but in short: TNG's character Nemesis impersonated Optimus and opened fire (literally) on everyone in Pala-Koro. He was countered and fled, only to be beaten and dragged back to the village. He was ordered dead, which resulted in a sad display of non-lethal brutality before I had Madrihk just kill him and be done with it. Then we had a quick visit of the Infernavika's crew, and things devolved into madness. Arguments were had, both in and out of character. Current status: Minor fire damage to the village is being repaired. Several characters are not happy about the torture-execution or whatever it should be called.
In lighter news: Trouble has simmered down. Leah of the Gukko Force has left some Le-Koronan NPCs behind so we can have a simple messenger/supply service between us and Le-Koro. Madrihk will be talking with people to settle the uneasiness that hangs in the air.
Out of character, the recent chaos has led to Nuju popping in to name Tyler a temporary leader of the RPG. He and a few other players will be a small panel of temporary judges so that order can be kept this month.

In the wake of the recent incident: If any more insane randomness happens (such as the ridiculous corpse stealing attempt), I urge you all to ignore it completely. Comment on it OOC if you please, but act IC as if it never happened.

First post updated with several new members.
-
Note: The Turaga have just woken!
-
You mean Kohu, Harakore, Kauma, Tupo and Pohau? Sure, I guess I can add them. Just don't go overboard with adding new characters all at once. I know that having lots of your own characters in one place tends to spread the butter thin because it then becomes hard to focus enough on each of them. Look at my character Mevi, she completely loses out because the original plot she was on got halted and now she's just walking around the ILS camp with nothing much to do.
But yeah, I'll add those Matoran to the list.
-
One of my characters would like to join, but where do I find them?
EDIT: Never mind, I see you're already there.
Note that right now we're dealing with some trouble in the form of prisoners and unconscious/infected Turaga, plus a few people died in the recent hive attack, so if some of our characters act a bit rough that's why.

Right, I have updated this page. If anyone has anything to add, do tell.
-
Yes, soon enough. Some status updates to wrap up, but we'll get to it.
-
Yes. Yes, it was. Given the current state of the action and me being juggling my online time between writing two separate 4000-word essays and two 1000-word ones (though you couldn't know that), I haven't bothered to do it.
-
Well, at least an hour is better than three, but I can't help but think you could really shorten it down here and there. I never finished the first episode simply because it was so dreadfully long. The content is not bad per se, but when if I am to sit down for 3 hours and listen, then it better be as engaging as Pirates of the Carribean or The dark Knight, know what I'm saying?
Also, wouldn't it be relatively easy to just re-record most of the echo-laden speech, since it is mostly solo anyways? As a media student, I know it's better to spend an hour extra on that rather than get a frankly quite shoddy result.
You believe you also told me you would cut out the bad beginning of our interview, when I got interrupted by my sis opening the door and we were tossed completely off track, but apparently you just stuck that in still? I dare say you will need some better editing to keep this going, no offense.

Now that Nuju has updated us again I'll get around to write that summary, I promise. Tomorrow, I guess. XD
-
When I get the time and my own bearings in this battle.
-
Kal has stone and Mussiki said he was good at sonics demolition. I don't care about your RP-ing skills, you seem to do well enough.
-
Caring. (The counter to Anger). I'll get him over there as quickly as I can. Where exactly are they, by the way?
Everyone is massed at the southern shore of Lake Pala. Feel free to assume that his presence has already been noted, since my character is already a bit busy.
-
@Wotz: Ril added.
@Vezok: Fixed.
@Balta: Sure, we could probably need more for Strike, so I've put your character there. What Mark emotion does he have, by the way?
-
Fixed.

Ah, yes, I missed that. He should be there now; just refresh the page if he isn't.
