  1. Well, even though Trakuda is dead, we could ask someone he knew about the cave like Soli-- never mind. :P

I wasn't giving Vorex the satisfaction of knowing about anything in advance, but yeah, Xa-Koro seems like a good place to liberate. There is definitely a bunch of people there, though. Also, these are tough marshlands to my knowledge, and they have a lot of outcasts and stuff. We'll have to go about this peacefully, but of course Madrihk will try to incorporate said hardened outcasts into the ILS somehow.

Joined forces > passive civilians > outright enemies. And then we point those new joined forces somewhere else. :P

  2. True. Let's quickly discuss some team structure here, then we can move on to planning our next goal. While it would be nice to repeat the Pala-Koro success in another region, I hesitate to move the brunt of the force away yet. The Turaga are still there, and if the ILS moves then the area is left mostly empty again. Perhaps Madrihk could hand over control of it to the Gukko Force or any ILS members that may choose to remain there.

Nuju is gone for the month, though, so it's safe to say that both the Parakuka plot and the Obelisk mystery will be at a standstill until he returns; no matter how natural it would be for our characters to investigate both. Skaarn spoke of spiders and EP, but since that can't be confirmed IC (and is debunked by default OOC) it makes little sense to search for any of those.

So, I propose that some of the team takes a trip to the southern shore and fetch our boat; followed by scouting out Ga-, Onu- and Xa-Koro for a place to set up our next "regional liberation". This would open up the option for some thrilling side quests, I'm sure. :P

If you got ideas, post 'em here.

  3. Ok, I'm back. Could I have a basic overview of what happened?

I believe it would be better if it's not spoken of at length, but in short: TNG's character Nemesis impersonated Optimus and opened fire (literally) on everyone in Pala-Koro. He was countered and fled, only to be beaten and dragged back to the village. He was ordered dead, which resulted in a sad display of non-lethal brutality before I had Madrihk just kill him and be done with it. Then we had a quick visit of the Infernavika's crew, and things devolved into madness. Arguments were had, both in and out of character. Current status: Minor fire damage to the village is being repaired. Several characters are not happy about the torture-execution or whatever it should be called.

In lighter news: Trouble has simmered down. Leah of the Gukko Force has left some Le-Koronan NPCs behind so we can have a simple messenger/supply service between us and Le-Koro. Madrihk will be talking with people to settle the uneasiness that hangs in the air.

Out of character, the recent chaos has led to Nuju popping in to name Tyler a temporary leader of the RPG. He and a few other players will be a small panel of temporary judges so that order can be kept this month.

  4. You mean Kohu, Harakore, Kauma, Tupo and Pohau? Sure, I guess I can add them. Just don't go overboard with adding new characters all at once. I know that having lots of your own characters in one place tends to spread the butter thin because it then becomes hard to focus enough on each of them. Look at my character Mevi, she completely loses out because the original plot she was on got halted and now she's just walking around the ILS camp with nothing much to do. ;)

But yeah, I'll add those Matoran to the list.

  5. One of my characters would like to join, but where do I find them?

EDIT: Never mind, I see you're already there.

Note that right now we're dealing with some trouble in the form of prisoners and unconscious/infected Turaga, plus a few people died in the recent hive attack, so if some of our characters act a bit rough that's why. :P

  6. Well, at least an hour is better than three, but I can't help but think you could really shorten it down here and there. I never finished the first episode simply because it was so dreadfully long. The content is not bad per se, but when if I am to sit down for 3 hours and listen, then it better be as engaging as Pirates of the Carribean or The dark Knight, know what I'm saying? :)

Also, wouldn't it be relatively easy to just re-record most of the echo-laden speech, since it is mostly solo anyways? As a media student, I know it's better to spend an hour extra on that rather than get a frankly quite shoddy result. ;)

You believe you also told me you would cut out the bad beginning of our interview, when I got interrupted by my sis opening the door and we were tossed completely off track, but apparently you just stuck that in still? I dare say you will need some better editing to keep this going, no offense.
