Aaand yet again, I am auctioning a complete BIONICLE lamincards collection. For those unfamiliar with lamincards: BIONICLE lamincards are collectible, playable cards made of high-quality plastic featuring BIONICLE 2009 motives. They were released for a very limited time in 2009, and only in a few European countries (among those Poland, Italy and Germany). A total of 210 lamincards exist (160 motives plus 50 glitter editions).
For graphic reference, see the following pictures from my first topic:

Rules:
General:
- The auction starts on 14th October, 2016 at 20:00 UTC and ends on 21st October, 2016 at 20:00 UTC.
- Bidding starts at 50$.
- The deal will only take place if my minimum price is met (minimum price will not be disclosed before the end of the auction).
Payment:
- I only accept payments via PayPal.
- The shipping costs (see below) will be added to the cost at which the buyer acquires the album. The sum has to be transferred to my PayPal account for the payment to be considered complete. For maximum convenience, I encourage the buyer to send the total sum in one transaction.
Shipping:
- I will ship as soon as the payment has entered my PayPal account. I will provide the buyer with a tracking number to track the shipping progress.
- By default, I will ship internationally in a padded letter or small box via DHL for 15,79 EUR (or 8,79 EUR, if you are a EU resident). If for whatever reason you desire the shipment to take place with a different shipping service, I will be glad to send you the set with a service of your choice
That's it for now. Happy bidding!

I'd worship you forever if you could upload the Flash file like you did for the Lewa animation.

I love it. - Batman, The LEGO Batman MovieFingers crossed we get Lego Batman head to commemorate the new movie next year. It would be nice if the staff ask the members for their opinions on what the new spinny should be. Whatever it is, just hope it looks as smooth as this years one.

Who did?(also only like...one person retired recently?)

I voted for the Manas, my absolute favourite in this contest. I particularly liked entry #3 as well, though.
-
Wow, awesome pictures. These are probably the best CGI representations of BIONICLE characters we've ever seen.
-
Seems like they removed the post as it was a prank and they didn't want people to mistake it for real. Too bad.The link don't work.
-
Excellent. Oustanding animation, which matches the music perfectly. I'm looking forward to seeing more work from you.
By the way, if you made this as a Flash animation, could you also provide us with a .swf file for playback? The framerate on YouTube is less than optimal and the benefit of vector graphics is also lost this way.

The album will preliminarily go to shatteredslumber at 150$ unless someone else is willing to buy within the next month.

200$ for a binder of cards may sound like a lot until you start considering that these are quite uncommmon. I think 200$, which is the price for a WMKK, is also pushing it for a piece of common piece of metal, but as relatively few WMKK were made, the price rises accordingly. I doubt that there are many complete lamincards collections out there. To my knowledge, only one collection has ever been sold on BZPower thus far, and TLH bought it for 200$. Many BZP users did not even seem to be aware that these existed until I sold that collection.
200$ for this album is not cheap, but I really don't think it's excessive, especially taking into account how many card packs I had to buy to finally put together a complete 210-card collection. However, it's not like I am unwilling to negotiate, so I suggest we continue this conversation via PM.

I don't understand why so many people are freaking out about this. Granted: The new setting implies that the movie will be taking place in another universe and the characters won't be the Ninja we have seen develop and come to love from the TV series, meaning that we will be less emotionally invested.
That may be a donwside, but it doesn't make the movie awful (yet). We don't know the plot and we haven't seen a single trailer so far! Calling out for boycotting the movie at this point is ridiculous and highly irrational. For all we know, it's still our beloved Ninja, but at High School.
Now, if they were to change the actual personalities of Ninja, THAT would be a major aspect to be upset about, and I sincerely hope they are not planning on doing that.

I'd say the fact that LEGO's sales numbers have been constantly increasing for several years proves that there is still a very great interest in old-fashioned toys. And anyway, "back in my days" kids played on a Gameboy or online (or not online) games on a PC. I don't see too much of a difference to playing with tablets but if there is I'd love to hear it.
This is the single most true post you will ever find on the internet. The Lego website and its content was at its best in the mid-2000s.
What I wouldn't give to go back to the good old days. Before social media, before smartphones. Back when kids played with toys instead of tablets, and when people actually talked to each other instead of texting.
Where did everything go so wrong?
And I'm pretty sure that the fact that people can now text in addition to talking doesn't mean there is less communication, it means there is more.

Yes, Supersonic RC was awesome!Personally the early 2000s had a lot of the games I have the fondest memories of. Mata Nui Online Game, Junkbot/Junkbot Undercover, and Supersonic RC FTW!
With that said, there have been some pretty great LEGO online games since then. The Hero Factory Breakout online game was phenomenal, with beautiful level designs, fairly intuitive controls, and great character customization. It was kind of buggy sometimes, but having grown up on Nintendo 64 platformers that was pretty bearable, especially for a free online game.
Well, I never really liked the Hero Factory Breakout online game, the graphics being rather awful (although I realize the game was designed to be able to run on mobile devices) and the gameplay being ludicrous. What is the point of a shooter with auto-targetting? That aspect alone sucked all the joy out of that game, but maybe, that's just me.
In my opinion, the last really good BIONICLE/HF-related online game was Creep Crushers, having beautiful design and being generally comical and fun. Yes, there have been some good LEGO games since the mid-2000s, but I dare say the number of good games has actually decreased, even taking nostalgia into consideration. I particularly miss games with story-telling, Robot Chronicles (which I really enjoyed, by the way) being the last game I recall to have actually told some kind of story. I am actually very surprised that the focus of LEGO games has seemingly completely moved away from story-telling, as I consider the latter to be essential to boost a child's imagination. We, at least, would often draw our inspiration from the LEGO games, expanding the universe from the stories of those games and creating new stories around those to play with actual LEGO.

This song is kind of weird for several reasons:
1. It's the fourth remix of the same song that's five years old.
2. I never really understood how the lyrics related in any way to the story.
3. It's kind of weird how some of the remixes replace "weekend" from the original title "The Weekend Whip" with something else, creating totally nonsensical titles like "The Pirate Whip". What is a pirate whip? What was the "weekend whip" anyway?
Anyway, just some random observations.

Well, you know better now, so that should actually make you wiser.I feel dumber for watching that.

As some of you recall, I already auctioned a complete BIONICLE lamincards collection here on BZPower a couple of months ago. If you missed out on that chance and are interested in posessing one of these very rare pieces of merchandise, now you have a second chance to do so, because I am selling another complete collection (all 160 motives plus 50 glitter editions).
Since I am too lazy (or busy, take your pick ) to take new photos, be sure to check out these old reference photos of my past auction:

I think you missed the point of the news, though.Good. LEGO needs to pay for its unnecessarily high prices.

Interesting how ice is being referred to as the "primordial element" or "White Element" and how it's considered the most pure and noble. That seems quite unlikely anything that has been done in G1. Intrigued to see where this will take us but it looks like Kopaka may have a bigger role this year.

Actually, Black Six is not discussing banned members but only the discussion of banned members. There is no rule stating that the discussion of banned members shall not be discussed. Please keep in mind that BZPower's rules stat that banned members are not to be discussed. That goes for this topic as well.
Hey, uh, just an FYI: This probably counts as discussing banned members, and you should not do that.

Well, it's not a full one.Probably an entire collection of BIONICLE Lamincards. I'm only aware of one other existing and we just sold it to Toa Lhikan Hordika.
I have like... half a collection. Does that count?

I think Lewa and Uxar are my favourite bunch this year. Lewa is already my favourite Toa from what I've seen (I'm not sure why but his mask looks awesome and I even really like the silver on him) but with Uxar's big green wings he gets even better. Thanks for the review and I look forward to Lewa's!
