And now: a story. While trekking through the Butter Bridge, Mario is forced to leap off his companion Yoshi, to make an impossible jump. The plumber weeps for his fellow companion, as he is already dead. But, by some chance, the Yoshi ends up going off the waterfall, and living. He swims down the Soda Lake to a small island. On this island, he becomes ferocious, growing fangs, and learns to fend for himself, eating insects and Cheep Cheeps. However, a patrol ship sent by King Bowser spots the firece Yoshi, and captures him, bringing him to Bowser's new castle in the Mushroom Kingdom. The Yoshi is forced to work on the castle, building it with other servants. The heavy pollution ends up changing the Yoshi's skin colour, and making him very angry. One day, he steals a disguise, and escapes. He then keeps some parts of the disguse with him, and moves to Bandit's Way. Assuming a new name, he is forced into a life of petty theft, stealing things to fund his new life. And thus Croco was born. EVentually, Mario once again met with his companion, but did not recognise him. Croco did not forgive Mario for his betrayal, and attacked...
