    Why hello there.

What does one do when you are sick in bed and unable to sleep?

You get that weird emotion called nostalgia and you miss the good old days and wonderful people on a place called bzp.

I offer free hugs at the moment and high fives from all. No need to talk about my life. Its a droll subject. What of you all?

Perhaps this will be more than a midnight fling we shall see.

    bionicle:

most recent bionicle drawings; but the latest one was done back in july. i dont really do biomechanical anymore due to lack of time and i just dont have a muse for it.

    other:

tell me a bionicle to draw HB style and I'll do a exclusive drawing for bzp

    hi everyone

im doing a all-nighter right now, trying to finish a project. taking a break, i was wondering how bzp was fairing. i really like the new style of the forums.

i'm sorry i'm no longer on. i keep wanting to slip back on but i have too much to do these days to keep tabs with the site; but maybe ill try to get on more. i'm in my sophomore year of college, but im withdrawing after this semester because i cant afford it and also due to health problems. im debating on if i should stay in MO or move back to TN. Have a job, got a tattoo, letting my hair grow out, have sadly not written anything in months, and not much on art either

how has everyone been? i was lurking the forums and realized all the people i havent talked to in forever; hope you all are doing well

Finally beat Mass Effect 2 (I know I've had this game for over a year, shaddup). It was so amazing.

    Cept' Mordin died.

I'M SO SORRY MY FAVOURITE SALARIAN. I LOVED YOU AND MADE YOU LOYAL AND WHY DID YOU DIEEEE. Life did this on purpose to me, I know it.

Really. Can't figure it out. Everyone was loyal, followed my bro's advice (who saved everyone). WHHYYYY. Going to need a serious talk with my Ron cloned relative...

Time to go replay two hours of gameplay, if I can. *hugs Mordin*

    ...

oh. college started today. hopefully I'll have a better semester... but who cares about that when the reapers are coming?

EDIT: Fix'd, now my lovely Salarian Scientist is well. Working on the Shadow Broker DLC now! (or maybe I should go to bed...)

i'd love to get to a point in my life where i'd actually start finishing drawings i started. yeah. that would be amazing.

    click for high res
does anyone even remember the characters to guess who is who? i'd love to actually finish this...with all the other drawings of mine that desperately need to be finished...my artistic ideas move faster than my patience. sigh

and i'm not just saying that in a anti-social way. i'm referring to bad dumb life. i miss bzp and my postings and reading and reviewing and posting art and stories and glitch in the system and all you wonderful guys who make me laugh aaaaaggh : ( i need more awesome Bionicle in my life, like it used to be. that always made things better

i need to blog more for sure...but i seem cant think of anything decent to talk about. i remember when i was younger i could talk y'alls ears off. what do you guys like to hear me talk about? or show? maybe i should make this more of a sketch blog...

what's up with me? life is ewww, commissions are on hold until summer (sorry...), gas is stupidly expensive, i'm sooo exhausted, school is driving me crazy (roughly just one more month...one more month...), and...i may be moving to missouri all on my own. i'm kind of excited about that one. : )

how are you guys? i'm behind in bionicle and bzp...what's been the dealio? links? pictures? kopaka?
  7. Lady Kopaka
    edit: don't like bumping...but i added kopaka finally... : )

my internet browsing has been kind of dull without bzp...even if i am not super active right now.

    some updates on life:
    - had the flu all last week and still pretty sick with stuff
    - dropping out of college after this semester
    - actually been drawing (skip down)
    - spring break started for me
    - life is stupid

anyway, ive been redesigning my HB nuva. just done their facial appearance, and overall these are just rough (but final) sketches
pohatu, lewa, tahu, gali, onua, kopaka
haven't done kopaka yet...his hairdue is causing me problems. ill try to show that one asap

    take care everyone

    Seriously guys. Read this. Please?

Bumped, cause I feel this needs to be heard again. I know this is a long entry, but it was very hard to try to squeeze this important subject any shorter. This is so much more important I think, than those silly random blog entries. Please take your time to read this.

As of the past few weeks, I’ve finally have found time to go around the art forum and really devote some time to it. But, there is something I’d like to talk about. First, this really has nothing to do with me. Though, I am very much concerned about the well being of other artists...or well, anyone who works on creative stuff (writing, MoCing, etc). Before I start this lecture, I may state this is just out of opinions and I am not trying to challenge the ‘look and leave’ issue. You have a right to post where you want or when to just look and leave. And for another thing, if you don’t even go to GA, please don’t feel pressured to do this. Nevertheless this issue has been bugging me for some time.

When I joined [2005] and made my first art topic, I got a lot of nice posts. It wasn’t a big hot topic, but people were kind enough to really encourage my art on BZP, by friendly critique or just a simple comment. Without those people who did that, you probably would not see as much art as I do today. Maybe I could be wrong, but I felt back then artists felt more respected. I’m not saying as in any sort of popularity, but simply they got decent posts and just some sense of reverence. I think this problem has always been around and I may sound like I'm exaggerating the issue...but still, bear with me.

It seems more people squander time with the people who really don’t try with art and then the people who truly strive don’t get much attention at all. These counts with both the talented artists and the new ones who are struggling to learn and improve. I’m not trying to be mean to certain people; but really, it’s getting a bit ridiculous. What you do could greatly affect a person’s esteem about art, MoCing, writing, or any other creative activities. If you rather want to post and comment about a five minute MSPaint drawing, that’s fine I guess. Just try to be a bit considerate to the artists who work hard or at least wanting to get better. They are the ones you should focus at and give care.

Also, when I begin to notice our veterans and popular artists are not getting decent posts anymore…we have a problem.

I’d like to clearly address the type of artists you should regard:
The Newbies: Just because a drawing may not be up to standards of marvelous talent doesn’t mean the artists is lazy and purposely terrible. People don’t become artists in one day; it takes years and years of never-ending practice. So if you see a person who said they are working hard on something and they are not getting many posts—do them a favor and help them out. Just because their art may not be as talented doesn’t makes them lazy or terrible, they just need help and practice. Remember this important quote Hahli Husky posted in her blog awhile back: "Good artists are the terrible artists who never gave up."
Veteran Artists: Now, the larger artists on BZP (I feel) have just as much trouble surprisingly. Sure their art may be awesome, but if they continue not to get any comments and encouragement, they slow on their art or stop all together. They feel their art isn’t good enough or it’s a waste of time to bother showing the art here. Our fellow BZP artists work HARD on their art for their enjoyment and to entertain you guys—you could at least repay by giving them by a friendly comment or review. In short, try to tell the difference from people who really are not respecting the meaning of the art forum (or art itself), and then the ones who are really putting some effort into their stuff. Either old or new.
[Note: I seem to keep contradicting myself, but even though I said give focus to the people who put a lot of effort in their art (This is the top priority), there isn’t anything wrong with commenting a drawing someone drew quickly. I and other artists have drawn quickies that we are proud of, or possibly a draft/WIP that the artist needs opinions on. Either way, just try your best to tell when someone needs a comment, and when it does best to ignore some of the imprudent ones.]

To the people who will tell me “Well I can’t give good reviews” or “I’m not good at pointing out critique”… that’s okay. I know I may sound a bit contradicting to Nikira’s ‘How To Review’, but don’t feel pressured to give the artists an amazing review. As long as you don’t sound immature, rude, or spammy, you should be fine. While most artists appreciate long reviews, they still should understanding toward the members with less of the flair to give a long review. All the artists wants is help on improvement and just to know he/she is noticed. No matter, still try your best at reviewing though. (Read Nikira's review help for how-to)

Now I may be confusing the meaning of this a bit. It’s true most people seek attention, but in a humble sense I don’t mean they want to get bragged on or feel all conceited (Even though we still enjoy a good ole' ego boost). Simply put, what if you worked really hard on something, posted, and then no one commented? It hurts, doesn’t it? We can never really cleanse this issue away from BZP, but you can help just a bit by encouraging a friend time to time or thinking twice before you post somewhere. Where you could be posting in a large GD topic where most posts are ignored, you could give a just as quick comment in the art, writing or MoC section and really encourage a member in their work.

And hey, if you start to take the time to comment other peoples work; your chances will double about receiving more comments in your own topics. Speaking of which, if someone gives you a nice review in your topic, return the favor if you can and review something of theirs. It's a nice thing to do.

I just felt this needed to be pointed out. I’m not pressuring people to post or make you feel guilty. In fact if you’re not really into the whole creative division, don’t worry about it. But this is focused toward the people who do go there or are getting back there. In no way am I trying to be impolite; I’d just like people to understand this problem.

was testing out some random custom brushes. Took about three hours. Did okay considering I rarely do scenery (and I'd like to change that). It's missing something...

Also, new scanner works just fine, which hopefully means I can start showing art more often. Yay?

College has been okay; not much homework so far. Hoping it stays this way, I got enough on my plate as it is.

anyone seen the trailer? i'm not much into zombie games, but after viewing the announcement trailer, all I could thing of is "wow". must be on my top favourite gaming trailers (the trailers are half the fun of the game itself)

ah yeah, im kinda being a zombie over here myself. havent been on bzp much lately, sorry guys. a lot going on but such is life. i have done lots of drawings but have yet to finish any of them. don't even ask about writing--done nothing other than bloody college essays

umm...just trying to make conversation. i miss getting on here. hi guys. what's up? favourite trailer of yours?

2011 is going to be -my- year. I'm not going to tolerate it running me over anymore. I have lots of things planned for this year. And so far my resolutions are:
improve my health: exercise (can has parkour?), better food, and relentlessly stalk doctors until they find a solution for me draw more, even if it's just doodling everyday work on those commissions, and start that danged webcomic. work toward better grades in college find a decent paying job, and start seriously digging into art opportunities write! write! write! get a tattoo go to brickfair or a similar gathering! become more active on BZP improve on my lack of social skills--get out, and trust people more get my own place that's pretty much it. I don't really do resolutions, but it's a decent to-do list. those are large, undefined goals, but I plan to take it all one step at a time and try my best to improve my life.
as a added bonus, this was my last 2010 drawing:

Christmas spelled backwards because I can't think of a decent title.

Hey guys, how was your Christmas day? Enjoy your presents? Ate too much food for your own good like me?

I went to visit my grandparents and other family in east TN. My favourite part was getting to see my adorable nephew. He’s four months old now and no word can appropriately describe how cute he is. I think my parents had way too much fun with him...tis’ fun to poke fun at my old man and call him a grandpa now.

I'm home now, simply bushed. It's been snowing a lot today; it looks so serene and is quite inspiring for writing and art...something which I really need to start doing more of. I'm digging in the chocolate I got for Christmas; it's all quite yummy and relaxing on this cool evening. If you're wondering, my favourite Christmas present was Beauty and the Beast from my parents. I also got a Muse album from them, a Michael Bublé album from my sister, and then just an assortment of random things (chocolate, a scarf, coloured pencils) from other siblings and relatives. Very thankful to have gotten this much.

In addition got to see True Grit--it was a superb movie. It's different from the original John Wayne version, and I have a feeling most people won't like it (ah, my abnormal [or bluntly terrible?] movie tastes), but I fell in love with it. Very witty, realistic, and I loved how it was centered around this young girl—but was shockingly not cliché in the slightest. That’s why it was just so unusual, but a good unusual. It was like Anne of Green Gables bumped into Clint Eastwood and all karzahni broke loose, haha.

I'll be going down on Wednesday to Louisiana to visit some more relatives and friends. I'm frankly a bit antsy since I haven't been there for nearly two years. Whatever the outcome, I still won't be very active for the next week or two.

I’m feeling pretty sick and sore all over, so I’m probably going to curl up with a book or play FFIX in bed. As much as I love my relatives, it can get so loud and crazy!

    Take care you dears.

(P.S. I bought a present for a certain friend and I apologize in advance that it will be sent late :'< )

I'M FREEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE NO COLLEGE FOR A MONTH HAPPY DANCE HAPPY DANCE

No idea on my grades, don't care right now. I'm so relieved I just survived. Terrible semester, I hope I never have to go through that again.

Since three I've been tying to take a nap because I'm so exhausted and hurting all over, but people in my family are so loud, good heavens. Earbuds, which usually do the trick have not been exactly helpful either. Escaped college, yes, escaped life for awhile? I'm still working on that. Been praying nonstop that things will get less stressed here, even just for a bit.

I'm really really really hoping I'll be able to do some art and writing over winter break as well, but I have no idea how things are going to hold. Cross your fingers, maybe a miracle will happen.

Hows everyone doing? Excited about break as much as me?
  14. Lady Kopaka
My brother and I are screaming like little girls. New Elder Scrolls Games? Mass Effect 3? Uncharted 3? If only we had news on the next Mirror's Edge...

Either way, I'm going hysterical and I can't wait for some of these, it's just too much awesome to digest. And I can't forget about Portal 2, Guild Wars 2, Dragon Age 2 (so many 2's...); 2011 seems to be a good year for gaming. Not so much for my wallet though. I seriously need to start feeling better and get a job/do more with art commissions...

What games are you guys most looking forward too? Sadness that I'm just picking this off the internet, not watching it on TV.

oh, hi by the way. I'm sorta of out of it because finals are next week and I'm freaking out and being sick on top of it and my life is stressful so things are just a little crazy. just a little.

aaaaaahh I finally can take normal classes and not useless developmental ones. I originally wanted to do another class--like a actual drawing class, but thanks to issues with my advisor and holds, by the time I got things working, most classes were already filled...not much to take at my college. That and I really should not put too much on my plate due to health.

Either way, decent schedule, won't have to rearrange art teaching too much, but we'll see what the future holds. In in the meantime, this is how I'm going to react to it:

I just have three more finals, three papers (or was it four?) to write, and I am free for a month. One does not know how relieved I am, because I am beyond exhausted, I just want to sleep the holiday season away. So, excuse me as I study some more on my Visual Arts final, and maybe a bit of FF9 before bed. I miss drawing and writing ever so much. :'[
  16. Lady Kopaka
I am like, extra extra sick right now. I hope it isn't the flu...I'm surprised how long I escaped the grasp of all those ailments traveling around though (I'm not even sure I have a immune system).

Just Skullkid invited me to go see Harry Potter 7 on Sunday...I can't be sick then! Agh! I don't even remember the last time I hung out with people, much less people my age!

Besides that, life is pretty much Karzahni. Sick on top of sickness, getting bad grades 'cause of it, a lot of personal problems--every little darn thing goes wrong. Whoever said that the Irish were lucky needs a punch in the face. Now yeah, it 'could be worse' or 'hang in there', but man, right now I can barely breathe through my nose and my head feels like it's about to fall off, I have a right to be emo. SO YEAH. Don't mess with grouchy LK.

In the meantime, I'm going to curl up and attempt to do homework...and probably end up playing Guild Wars or something instead.

I also had to quit NaNo. I'm sorry guys. Glitch 2 isn't canceled, but I have no idea when I'll be able to write on it. I'm really sorry to commissioners too; few weeks ago I had started on all the drafting and things were going smoothly...and then it fell apart. I'm trying really hard though to work on them when I can, really.

Hope everyone is doing good here, sorry for not being active.

I finally got to see Toy Story 3 tonight. And all I could think of was how happy I felt afterward.

Don't know why I felt so content and good inside...well, I mean, it is Toy Story, but it really connected with me in a way I didn't expect. Maybe it was the moral, the nostalgia, the amazing story and characters...probably all of it. My family was making fun of me for crying during the last bit of it, but I don't care, it was worth it.

Thank you so much Pixar, you made me truly smile and I don't get to do that a lot with everything going on in my life. You also reminded me why I want to do art as a profession; maybe some magic will happen and I'll get to work for you guys in the future.

    November 1st! NaNoWriMo time!

And I'm so completely braindead and tired and sick and ugh. BUT I'M GOING TO TRY SO HARD TO WIN THIS YEAR!

Good news I trick-or-treated for the first time in my life tonight; it was fun and yay candy. Maybe that will help me a bit. <3

It's so weird for me to finally return to Tachi and Komas...but I hope I have a blast! Good luck to you guys as well!

...so see y'all in December? :'D

    LETS DO THIS THANG

  19. Lady Kopaka
can someone please remind me how it is to sleep? That thing where you close your eyes and don't have really bad nightmares or body aches? I am so dadgumed tired. Even when I'm not worried about college, those health issues keep me from falling into the right REM sleep.

You guys. Don't take sleeping for granted. I remember a few weeks back I slept normally and it was the most wonderful thing ever. Do you guys seriously do that almost every night?

The term 'taking for granted' has been on my mind a lot. I've bumped into a lot of people who just complain or think their life is horrible. I usually hate it when people say "it could be worse" (because you don't want to think about how much worse could this be), but the basic premise is true. I'm a hypocrite, but sometimes I just cringe when I see people like that. It's selfish. It's selfish because you're all busy with yourself when you could be helping someone in a worse circumstance; and along the way it could solve your problem as well.

Learning over the years, 'problems' vary from person and location. One bad grade for a kid is no big deal; for the other it's traumatizing because this means she'll lose her scholarship. You hate school. Well, at least you can go--so many kids out there will never get a proper education, and many will work beyond their ability to get one. I could go down the list, but it can be vise-versa. We're all different people, we handle things differently. A break-up might seem silly to over-worry about in high school, but for that girl or guy who is beyond lonely and they think that's their only option to get rid of it--it is. Whether the intention is good or bad, it's always good to take a step back and view it.

What qualifies your life to be bad? Did your little sister break a LEGO set of yours? Hate eating carrots? You got in a fight with your parent? Bad teacher? Sometimes those things are placed in front of us for a reason. Maybe to help you learn patience, understanding, or just how stupid people are and it’s not worth getting frustrated with.

Instead whining, go out there and try to solve it. Do something, don’t just sit there. Find a person who has it worse than you and learn from them, or try to even help then. One amazing remedy to your own bitterness is being selfless. Trust me, it works. Not just helping others to feel good...when you get to that point when you help someone, and later realize that it made you feel good, you've come a long way. No, you're not running away from your problem, you're facing it. Don't bottle up your emotions either. If you need help, go get it! There are always options to solve things, no matter how grim your life may be. Find a few friends to talk to and get opinions from them about your dilemma. Getting different views can help more than you know.

You may have a terrible dilemma and it takes years to solve, but in the end it will make you stronger, and more knowledgeable to help others with the same issue. For the ‘smaller’ ones, you’ll open your eyes more, see what’s really important. You should feel blessed that you didn’t experience what you thought you were experiencing. In a way, a problem or your own ignorance is a blessing.

Nothing is wrong with having a pity-party or just being grouchy about some silly problem. But watch out…are you doing it because you really need that attention, or you want it because it makes you feel important? Don’t lie to others or yourself.

There's this balance, and I really hope more people find it. I swear it isn’t that complicated, I’m just giving you a hard time with my rambling. Maybe some of this requires practice. I sure did. We’re human. We got the bad in us, but we also have the good in us to counter it as well. Trying is better than doing nothing and moping.

Compassion, tolerance, and love are really important in times like this. We need to go out there more. While our world is expanding, we're also becoming more isolated in our gadgets, our worlds, our problems. Not only is that bad, but it makes us extremely closed-minded and many will never even conceive it. I'm not trying to make people guilty, or complain about complainers, I'm sorry. But someone needs to talk about it, yah know? This is more. I've seen so many people hurt through this confusing mess on both sides and I just want it to stop.

So, the moral of the story is I need some chocolate and to go to bed.
  20. Lady Kopaka
SO EXCITED. Why can't it come sooner? I might just end up being a NaNo rebel...

I asked before, asking again. Who's joining me in this madness, even if you're not aiming for 50k? I'm hoping to get some things done; the arts/writing is only the few things that keeps me from falling apart these days (even though I don't do enough).

Like last year, I'll make a list of all the BZPers! Is anyone also on the website? (I'm almost certain B6 said we could talk about it as long as we don't link it...sorry if I misunderstood) I'd love to know about y'alls ideas and stalk your word count. I just wanted to bother everyone with this, I'm trying to get my mind off other things.

Hey guys, the winners and some honorable mentions! I was going to post earlier, but I was hanging out with Skullkid for the day (-finally-..and speaking of which, if you go check out his blog, you'll find the latest WIP drawing from me). Had a lot of fun, but didn’t get much homework done today…ah well…yay for fall break!

    The three winners!
These characters will be given a fairly major role in the story as a supporting character.
Grokk – created by Nuju Metru Grokk…a mercenary type guy…but a secret dream to make a theme park? His personality and depth is outstanding! I absolutely loved him the second I read the bio.
Cadash Ohaniel – created by Lloyd: The White Wolf Interesting, destiny-hating, but deadly and powerful businessman. Can’t have a modern city like Jiahk without one. He’s sure to stir up trouble with the agency!
Iavo – created by Toa_Velox What I liked about this mercenary type was that…well, he’s brutal. He has a lot of quirks you might expect, but others as well you wouldn’t—he’s a type that could send shivers up your spine. Not a guy I’d like to meet in a dark alley.
Three honorable mentions! These characters will be given a small cameo role.
Los Vog – created by Skullkid I just liked this guy’s down to earth persona. Not some handsome exciting Toa—just a gaudy cook/broker…Deviled Squid and Grits...I think Niihlus will stick with coffee, however.
Kako – created by Eeko Sometimes, simplicity is best—Eeko pulled this off. Love the character and her ‘eccentric’ personality.
Kadina – created by Muharax makuta of insanity Quite a dangerous gang leader that’s stirring up trouble in the streets of Jiahk…not to mention she’s a female Makuta!
It was so hard to decide, really guys, thank you all for entering! I was very impressed with all the amazing characters. <3
For the winners, I’ll be PMing you shortly so I can ask/explain/etc (without trying to spoil) where your character will show up, among other things. There were also some close finalists that I will be PMing as well because I really liked some, but will have to come at a much later date/was conflicting with another character.

And so, for NaNoWriMo I shall be working on the sequel…this means the story should emerge in December! An official date will be announced later. Again, thank you so much for taking the time to enter. Hopefully the story will be enjoyable! Feel free to congratulate these guys, ask questions on them/the story, or whatever you like.
  22. Lady Kopaka
I'm in this finicky state where I should go to bed, but I don't want to. I'll have to force myself to, but I can make a entry in the meantime.

A lot has been going on these past two weeks:
eleven hours on a Friday to the wedding, then eleven back on Monday...at least I saw my nephew! missed a paper deadline 'cause I was stupidly sick, and I'm having a lot of trouble with citations. agh. I got into a small car accident because I was stupid again and just had to hit the breaks. Thankfully nothing got messed up except for two tires, and I'm back on the road. then on that same day my sister had one too in the van. Ironically, the only decently working vehicle is our ancient truck? got addicted to my PS3 again, specificlly Mirror's Edge and Final Fantasy XIII. This is the blame for lack of results for the contest. I've also been sick, that's kept me from things...me? Sick? I know, right. commissions are going at a decent pace. I should be uploading the drafts sometime this week. EXTRA TIME YAY FALL BREAK YAY trying to sort out plans to move out just keep getting more complicated... but I have started drafting plans on that webcomic. I really hope I can spare the time to do it. Finally (this deserves it's own paragraph) National November Writing Month is starting in just a few weeks!! I would have posted a entry earlier, but been busy...anyhow, I want to know who is doing it it! If not, you really should! I'm still trying to decide what story to do, I have so many ideas.
Oh. And the contest results. Tomorrow, I swear. Sorry for the delay. You guys just had to give me a hard time with so many awesome characters? Geez.

    Stay coolio everyone. <3

I decided to extend the deadline until the October, 10th! That means people who haven't found the time to enter, or ones who already have, can get some time to enter and edit their entries. Good luck!

Last year I held a Glitch in the System contest, and its theme was to design one of my characters--this time? The purpose of this contest is to create a character that will show up in the upcoming epic. If you win, the character will be considered canon in the GitS universe. You guys have been so kind to me with this story, so I feel I should repay you by getting the community a bit more involved. Now then, let’s get down to details.

This is not an ‘only art/story/moc’ contest. You guys get a lot of free reign in this. The purpose is to simply come up with a character of your liking, tell me about him/her in a format similar to RPG templates, and that’s it. However, it is strongly recommended that you do art/MoC so I can picture him/her clearly. The more details and depth, the better chances you have at winning (this doesn’t mean you have to have super long info, though).

Need tips on creating a character?
    • The character has to fit into the theme of GitS. My story focuses a lot on a ‘cyberpunk’ theme. This epic is mainly in a city called Jiahk with the classic gangsters, funky politicians and lots of guns and explosions.
    • While Toa are always nice, try to be extra creative. Do you have an idea for a spunky Matoran reporter? A mysterious diplomat? Some evil crime lord? Be creative, surprise me!
    • If you’re still unsure about what to do, think of the characters in stuff like NCIS, Star Gate, The Matrix, Ghost in the Shell, or other crime/adventure series.

    General information and rules:
    • Follow all BZP rules and guidelines.
    • One entry per person.
    • I’m going by a judging system, not voting. I am not judging by ‘who drew the best looking character/etc’; I want originality, not necessarily artistic talent.
    • There will be three winners.
    • Remember: if you win, that means I have full control over that character. No, I won’t make him/her be stupid, and you will have full credit of creating him/her—but be aware that this is my story, do not back-seat drive (but feel free to give me ideas or things you do not want me to do with said character).
    • Please make sure the format of your entry is readable and organized. Otherwise, I’m not picky.
    • I am NOT going to answer super basic questions on the story for you. If you expect to get a character in, I expect at least for you to read my story.

    Q&A:
Q: ….what is Glitch in the System?
A: Glitch in the System is a Bionicle epic that is about a Toa named Tachi and her Partner named Komas. It’s set in a slightly futuristic setting. You can read it here.

    Q: What’s the deadline?
A: OCTOBER 10TH, 2010, 11:59PM CNT. I know, it’s only two weeks, but I must begin working on this story soon. I may be flexible, though.

Q: Can the character be an alias of me/my bzp persona?
A: If you really want to. Just make sure that character will fit logically in my story.

Q: So, I can make a MoC, piece of art, or even a sprite of my character?
A: Yes. There are no limitations on this.

Q: Can my character be part of Toa Niihlus’ agency?
A: Sure. Any faction you remember, you can create a character to be part of it. You can also create your own.

Q: If I win, how important will my character be? Are there other prizes?
A: It depends. It will most likely be more than a cameo, but otherwise it depends on what the story needs. Besides getting your character canon, I am considering some cool other prizes…but still working on that.

    Q: I don’t understand this in the story/I’m not sure I can do this/etc.
A: If you need any help, just ask here or PM me.

Aaaand I think that’s it. What are you still here for? Go create that character for me!

(oh and if you want to spread the word/advertise, that would be nice.)
