Yes but it would require a lot of energy and they could not control it. Short version:A lot of psionic energy would be released in a variety of ways. Brains would not explode.Long version:It would release all the powers of psionic energy at once over a large area. The physical force of the blast would most likely be from a forceful telekinetic push expanding outwards from the Source Toa. During the blast, powerful headaches, deep sleep and other powerful mental influences would be bestowed upon any beings caught inside. Most of these effects will eventually wear off. In all likelihood, anyone caught in the blast would be rendered permanently insane as the combined effects of the blast would have shredded their mentality into pieces. A toa of psionics would probably be able to repair the damage if they came back later but it would be a long process. The toa who made the blast would simultaneously detect and read all the minds in the radius of the blast. Their mental shielding could be strengthened depending if subpowers are enhanced with nova blasts, though it would stand to reason that they are. Curiously, if the Source Toa was in a crowded place and her mental shielding was not increased, she would be rendered insane by the vast stream of information being delivered to her mind, but if it was increased she would be fine as the mental shield would block it out. Obviously this would vary with the amount of minds in the area. Definitely one of the most interesting nova blasts.Brains would still not explode. We aren't. As shown by the golden skakdi thingo (creation, possibly elemental), Artahka (creation, mask power), the Ignika's conscience (life, elemental) and maybe Voporahk (time, non-elemental and only accelerates time in field around him, can turn off acceleration), vastly more powerful beings can control these elements. No but currently he has makuta powers.

Possibly also the bright light of it.I guess that would make sense if their Matoran power is being able to survive extreme heat.Plus, isn't St. Elmo's Fire supposed to occur after a thunderstorm or volcanic eruption? If so, then maybe the Plasma Matoran should live at the top of a volcano that is in an area that gets frequent storms (with the Lightning Matoran living in the same area, but away from the volcano). That way, there would be different "kinds" of Plasma everywhere - in the lightning, St. Elmo's Fire, and super-hot flames from the volcano. And since this is fiction, we could say that St. Elmo's Fire occurs a lot more frequently than it does in real life.Just imagine walking through a Matoran village situated in a volcano with St. Elmo's Fire everywhere, and lightning crackling in the distance. Now how cool would that be? I've just heard of it on ships, though it would be pretty sweet none the less. That would also narrow the places they would like to live down by a lot. Then again, there could be a lot of places like you said. It is fiction.

You heard it hear first folks, rarity episodes can not win over Rarity.Actually, now that the season finale bias has well and truely died down and we're on the topic of favourites, I'd like to ask what everyone's favourite episodes of each season are. Mine are stare master for S1 and hurricane fluttershy for S2.

I doubt it would be picked up by any of the free to view stations as I think ten is the station that gets hasbro cartoons and last time I watched they don't show 'girly' cartoons. That was 4 years ago though, so I don't know. I wouldn't want the show associated with ten anyway.

I think tahu's hau was the artahka version while lhikan's was a different version, though I'm not sure where I got that from. But yes, masks could be shaped in any way their forger wanted. It's just that most were forged in the way they were because the shapes were better for identification.

I was going to say Miserix/Antroz, but you reminded me of that one line. I love that line. Also I remembered all the awesome stuff he did. I'm going to now say a miserix/teridax/antroz tie. Miserix because of his design and how he was handled in the story, particularly his battle with teridax in the mutran chronicles. Teridax because of all the awesome stuff he did, an example being his battle with karzahni which I loved. I started to dislike him after he took over the universe though, so only pre 2009 Terdax for me. Antroz because of how he didn't underestimate the toa nuva, his one line about a handful of toa being my favourite line in the series.

The Elda's primary function was to find the Ignika, wasn't it? I think that grants it a certain degree of lenience in regard to usefulness. Still, it could detect hidden beings, so it had some use that could come up from time to time.I think that the Mask of Undeath is the worst canon mask by far. It has no use if you are alive and only gets used at one time, which is when you die. If you were to become yourself again afterwards, that would be fine, but the mask has to turn you into a zombie instead. It only gives you one purpose, which is what your purpose was before dying, and your senses and processing speed are reduced, creating a severe and possibly fatal downside to being reanimated in the first place if you were to find yourself in any conflict.Of the named masks, I'd say the Zatth purely because of the uncertainty factor.

Rahi mocs are so amazing when done right. I love it, especially the body. The only thing I can think that I don't like is how the little nub on the hands juts out. If you have nuparu inika claws then they might work better if you flipped the lower arms around. Still, it's a very minor complaint and overall the whole thing is still amazing.

Well basically, Gresh and Kiina and that grumpy fire guy would have gone to that big volcano and would have been like 'Oh cool the volcano is one big thornax launcher or something' and then they would have got like ALL the thornax fruit and loaded it up and shot it at makuta and then it would turn out that thornax have shrinking effects on giant robots and makuta would shrink till he was the size of an agori and then mata-nui would have given him the old one-two, you know, socked him in the jaw and then the glatorian police would have been like 'you're under arrest, formerly large space robot! Also where are the guys inside you?' And then mata-nui would have been like 'Handwaved!' and bought them out of makuta and made them big because he's a great spirit. Also tahu would then turn up with the golden armor and said 'I'm ready to defeat the rahkshi!' and then everyone would laugh and simultaneously say 'that's our tahu!', even makuta, who had learned how to truely love, even though he was a robot. Cue the canned laughter, have a montage of all the characters and how they were doing in 20 years, play the credits over some mediocre guitar, that's a wrap.What, that's not good?Fine. If I had my way, Mata-nui would have battled makuta in space so that the robot fight was realistic in regards to size, the plothole-icious ground battles wouldn't have happened, though the rest of the events would have happened the same way. The MU would have crashed into the planet, Teridax was still killed by Aqua Magna, etcetera, etcetera. There isn't much reason to change those details as far as I'm concerned.
