  1. Yeah...I'd probably be depressed at the funeral. From the few times we met, he seemed like an awesome grandpa. One of those people who's really into sports even for their age and can actually play soccer and other sports with you. It'd be creepy to see him like he would be at the funeral...

My mom's coming back this coming Wednesday.

  2. Neither places were on the trip itinerary, they were never planned by the scout organizations in charge. Since the group didn't plan to go there, I couldn't either; I'm going with a group, not by myself. I don't have complete freedom in my choices of where to go.

There's another reason we didn't go to Hiroshima or Nagasaki, or specifically the atomic bomb sites. Hiroshima and Nagasaki are to the Japanese what the Holocaust is to Holocaust survivors, so going to those places as Americans would be very insulting and offensive, especially considering our goal. I don't think any Japanese people consider those sites as tourist spots; there are most likely many painful memories that still exist.

  3. But Jimmybob, we already have masks covering all those powers, none of which are in this design, so giving him a power that already exists in another mask shape would just be confusing. The point of giving him this mask was that, combined with Kirop, he robs you of all your senses. Makes it kinda hard to fly if you can't see, hear or speak.

It (the combination) is also highly effective against armies. Robbing the sight and hearing of people in the army would prevent them from seeing or hearing the signals that leaders of the army give, which also messes up strategies or formations.

This mask power is one of my favorite by far. I still can't decide between the Makuta and their Av-Matoran allies, though.

  4. I have my doubts, personally, on the specific criteria you included, but I can say that this was one of the best reasons I've seen for choosing Kopeke. With this sort of argument, it's hard for me to find flaws, but since I'm for Kopeke myself, there might be a bias there.

But if restraint is one of the criteria, would it really matter if the Chronicler had a sort of restraint? If Hafu had been Chronicler, wanting to be part of the story himself and wanting attention wouldn't hinder his job that much. It's sort of like where there's a story where the narrator is part of the story and is one of the characters, as opposed to being on the sidelines.

Kopeke would definitely make a great Chronicler in terms of observativeness, and alertness, but in my opinion restraint doesn't count too much in the job of the Chronicler.
