I've come to notice that a lot of younger, or newer artists here on BZP, don't resize the scans of their sketches.

Please do so! Especially when you add the picture directly into your posts!

It is no fun at all to watch a 2000x3000px image slowly build up, even with DSL, which not everybody has (Yes, I am looking at you Sisen, with you and your dial-up ).

And I am not just saying this for the viewers pleasure, but also such large images with a big loading-time increase the rate of look-and-leave.
So if you want more people to see your image, make it a bit smaller.
Usually 800x600 is enough for small sketches. If you got a bit of detail, go larger, around wallpaper-size. And if you really want the giant version to be seen, add it as a link, not as picture.

Just a castaway An island lost at sea
    Another lonely day
With no one here but me
    More loneliness
    Than any man could bear
Rescue me before I fall into despair

I'll send an SOS to the world
I'll send an SOS to the world
I hope that someone gets my
I hope that someone gets my

A year has passed since I wrote my note
But I should have known this right from the start
Only hope can keep me together
    Love can mend your life
But love can break your heart

I'll send an SOS to the world
I'll send an SOS to the world

    Oh, message in a bottle
    Message in a bottle)

    Walked out this morning
    Don't believe what I saw
    A hundred billion bottles
    Washed up on the shore
Seems I'm not alone at being alone
    A hundred billion castaways
    Looking for a home

I'll send an SOS to the world

Hey y'all! It's VF, reporting from CJ's Basement! I would love to write more, but I am dead tired. But since today was the season finale of Supernatural I thought I'd leave you a little treat. Because this is what happens when two crazy BZPers stick their heads together:

On the better side of the news: SNOW! Heck yes! White goodness has finally delivered me from the dull greyness. *fingers crossed for snow on Christmas*

PS: My AC entry is coming along rather nicely and I am espescially fond of my background. I hope i will finish by tomorrow.

Well, after Germany elected a new government there were threats of incidents to happen. Police responded quickly.

I am not trying to say anything political, but today was actually the first time that I saw a policeman with an automatic weapon in my town.

On a more lighter note: I went shopping today. A bit of Lego, a few DVDs and some hardware

To put a famous quote here:

    DON'T PANIC!

It is far from being a Pandemic. The reported cases are people who have been in Mexico and are already in hospitals for it and they are conducting checks in airports.

Just remember when your mommies all told you: Wash your hands, don't sneeze without putting your hand up and don't touch everything around.
You'll all be just fine ^^

The media needed something else to get hyped over besides the financial crisis.

    Peace out.

Ok, maybe a Bionicle website is not the best place, but:
Whoever first got the idea that growing up and beeing a responsible young adult is about leaving everything childish behind and solely putting all effort into getting straight A's to get the job that pays best was a complete moron.

Please rub this in everbodies face who complains that your hobbies are not fitting with your age. Even better: Print this out and slap them with it.

So what does VF do in his afternoons...if you say he's drawing geek stuff, that's definitely right but just a part of the activities.
He does play 1st Bugle in a Brass Orchestra as well ^^

And sometime in September we recorded our first CD!

And I thought I'd share a treat with you...you should all know it.

    Enjoy!

    May 5th-28th: Alberta

    May 28th-June 15th: British Columbia

    July 12th-28th: West Virginia

    July28th-August 5th: Tennessee

    August 5th-8th: BRICKFAIR

Afterwards hasn't been really planned yet. Possible destinations inlcude New York, but around Agust 20th I'll head back to Canada, maybe staying in Ontario for a couple of days before going to Québec and head back home September 10th.

So, if anybody is really curious about meeting up, drop me a PM, I'll be online from time to time ^^

    See y'all around!

If you haven't guessed yet - the title is a Mad Max reference. I saw it last Thursday here in Denmark and it is an amazing, amazing movie. Not in the way of breaking new ground, since it basically comes down to a 1 hour 45 minute chase, but the way Miller made his movie really shows how to do an action movie like this. Every frame is just wonderful and a little piece of art IMO. But enough gushing, I actually am working on something for myself and since it's all in LDD I can show a WIP too!

Should be done by the end of the week and then it's onto the Doof Wagon ^^ Enjoy!

    I just realized something:

I miss blogging with all you awesome folks!

So, without delaying too much, I shall refurbish this blog to finally fit in with the new forum layout, do some new funky pictures and then I'll get down with the groove, do the boogy and...

Ok, enough blabbering, I'll just get back to updating here more regularly.

See you guys in the blogsphere! =)

[I love it ^^ It's as if somebody took a game like GTA and put on Godmode and forgot to turn it off.

Aaaand it is great for getting rid of stress, since you literally can take on the whole world (well, Manhattan at least.)

PS: I tried to find the hotel I was staying in there back in 07 in the game by searching around time-square but couldn't find it...

PPS: The awesome factor is multiplied by 9000 since the protagonist wears a hoody, and we all know how awesome heroes with hoodies are since AC.]

    Yes.
Since a few months now I have been on a kind of rollercoaster. Since last summer actually I had my ups and downs.
Much of it can be attributed to bad timing on fates side.
I guess that is why I feel the way I feel now.
I am about to propably make one of the biggest steps of my life. Things have changed and will changed. A lot of things, including myself.

13 years now, my life has been like a river that flows through a channel. Everything runs smooth, nothing unexpected comes up.
13 years now, I essentially get up at 7, go to school at 8, come back around 2 in the afternoon, do my choires and go to bed at 11.
13 years of routine are about to end.

And they decided to end with a bang:
Breaking up for the first time, graduating from school, changing myself deeply, after which I will be picking up a rifle to become a soldier for nine months.

Essentially I preserved my childhood until now, to keep the amount of bad stuff life throws at me low. Yes. I never had to deal with relatives who were in need of me taking care of them. I don't have siblings that annoyed me into becoming more responsible. I do have the money to buy most the stuff I like without saving on it a long time or thinking it over three times. I don't really know what it means to study day in and out because I am aparrently smart enough to pass with good grades.
But that doesn't make me any less of an adult.
And why? Because even though I never experienced such things up close, I wasn't ignorant enough to believe I could make it through without growing up.
And I am fed up with others telling me I don't know about it.

So to all those out there, who think I annoy you at times, that I snap at for no reason, that I ignore, that I behave weird to or that I just don't leave alone because I seek comfort, I apollogize.

    I'm just scared.

Super Excited to finally show y’all my first official LEGO Set! Our LEGO City Volcano Explorers need to go places, so they need a big truck to get there.

Worked on this for about 6 months last year. Still doesn’t feel quite real that this little thing I was brooding over on my desk is now shipping worldwide!
