He and his best friend used to fight for the good side hunting down and capturing most wanted evil creatures. One of them was a Makuta who was more powerfull than both of them, but the heroes united and deafeted makuta, but he rose again and killed shadow stalkers friend causing shadow to be consumed by anger and discover his hidden powers which he used to defeat the makuta. Now shadow shows no mercy to vilains and no longer lets them live. A lot of villains escaped from him, but shadow still killed a lot and everyone, even the heroes fear him from the day his friend died
