      technically correct. from the sound of things, they were being pressured by advertisers to enforce their guidelines more strictly.

      it's not even just swearing people are being hit by this over. the guidelines also exclude videos containing even mildly suggestive humor and discussion of "controversial" subjects - which includes discussion of LGBTQ issues, apparently, because a lot of LGBTQ vloggers and the like have had their videos demonetized with that being cited as the reason. political channels and internet news sources are being affected as well. it's terrible.

      I've heard pretty good things about it, gonna reserve judgment until I can check it out when it's available to rent. the sexual content doesn't bother me a bit and I've heard it's got a pretty agreeable message behind it to boot.

      Phantom, I know we've had disagreements in the past, but if you want to talk to somebody who won't judge or use it as an opportunity to proselytize, feel free to hmu. I don't know what you're going through but I've struggled with similar feelings and I'm willing to listen or help in any way I can.

      most people who are in a bad place don't want/need to hear about how insignificant what they're going through is compared to somebody else. if anything, it can make them feel worse. pain doesn't work that way.

      jesus guys, it's not a competition. if you don't know what someone else has been through, don't say you or anyone else has had it worse. what a backhanded way to comfort someone.

      I played it a bunch during the open beta and I liked it, it was fun, but it was not the second coming people are hyping it up to be.

      not bad but not deserving of this level of hype. I'll probably buy it when/if it goes on sale but for now I'll stick with TF2.
