  1. I didn't receive your PM, can you try sending it again? Sure, PM me.
  2. I don't have any Kraata anymore, but I just wanted to say good luck finishing the rest of the collection!
  3. Sure, I've been selling the blank disks for $10 each. Kraahkans - I have two 4-hole versions and one 6-hole version, they're all flat black. I also have two glossy Movie Edition masks.
  4. How about $40 for all 12? How about $30 for all of them?
  5. The poster above you wants to buy it. I am selling it for $45. If the sale doesn't go through you can get next dibs on it.
  6. Don't want to split up the set of 6. I'll sell you all 6 for $10.
  7. You may be right. The way I remember it, the first run of Dalu sets came with lighter blue masks, and later, they were changed to original darker blue shade--but this was a decade ago! There was a long discussion about it on the old board. In any case, both are available on Bricklink for pennies. Don't have the TRK anymore. I do have a plain black one that I'll probably auction at a later date.
  8. WMKK sold. Someone else offered $15 per disk. What do you think? No. I'll throw in the card with the US copper Huna, though. The disks are prototypes. The 8 light purple Krana are "misprints." The light blue Rau under them was considered a misprint back in the day, but I don't know if it still is. On Jala and Vakama, the masks appear to be identical to the final versions. The McToran arms are flimsier. They come in bags labeled with their set number and a Lego employee's signature. The 2 Visorak shells are the standard old dark gold color. The small piece to the right of them is pearl light gold. By sets of 6, I meant masks from sets originally sold in groups of 6. For example, the 6 Toa Metru masks, or the 6 Barraki heads. How's $5 for the Irnakk head? Replied. So far, I've gotten interest in the WMKK, the blank disks, all 3 Vahis, the heads and eyes, Irnakk, and the prototypes. Everything else is still available.
  9. Clearing out the closet! Make me an offer on anything or everything pictured here. Notes: I won't split up sets of 6. I prefer to sell in large blocks--in case anyone's looking for every mask from the large, small, or canister Bionicle sets (2001-2010), I'm your guy.The Jala and Vakama models are prototypes--the parts are slightly different from the final models. These come in bags with labels. I took them out for the picture. The bags on the bottom right of the large photo contain light gray Toa Mata heads and "brainpieces" meant for a display that never happened. There's enough for between 200 and 300 pairs. Edit: The following items have been sold: WMKKPrototype Jala & VakamaAll 3 VahisAll 8 light purple Krana1 infected HauTeal Kakama, light blue Pakari, yellow KomauTuraga Dume's mask7 blank disks
  10. Feel free to close this. I sold all my plastic Krana!
  11. That's misleading. If I auction a VMKK and the final price is $500, that should be factored into the price guide. Even though it's atypical, it still means at least 2 people were willing to drop that much. Bricklink has a system that automatically calculates the average price of every item sold. If you're taking on the task of creating a price guide, you should make an effort to be nonbiased. Disregarding outliers is disingenuous. That's just the problem though - those sales are atypical. The price guide is supposed to document prices based on typical sales. That being said, I should have been more specific. I often do make notes of sales that are above or below typical prices, and that would make sense to do for the VMKK since we've seen a few above-average sales recently. I'll make the appropriate changes shortly. But outliers shouldn't always be take into account. For instance, I've heard of chrome Haus selling for upwards of $50, both as auctions and as simple sales. But those are so far above normal prices that it wouldn't be right to raise the value in the guide, especially for such a common piece. Apologies if I sounded biased or nonobjective. I wasn't clear enough. -Letagi Wouldn't the most "typical" sale be an average of every sale? Doesn't make sense to cherry pick certain sales. I suppose for the rarer pieces, the value is reestablished each time it's auctioned, though.
  12. I don't ever recall hearing about 8 types of Kraata. What are you referring to? - The Wild Kraata found in the Kraata cans weren't produced in equal amounts. You'd think you would have an equal chance of finding a level 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, or 6, but actually, you were twice as likely to get a level 1 or 4 than another level. Visually, instead of a 1:1:1:1:1:1 ratio, they were produced in a 2:1:1:2:1:1 ratio. Also, the metallic blue/metallic white ones were noticeably rarer than every other color combo.
  13. I trawled through every single news article, blog post, and topic on the old forums that mentioned VMKK, the Proto-Squad, etc, and created a spreadsheet of all the "discovered" rare masks in the online Bionicle community. I had maybe 60 accounted for. There were 2,000 Proto-Squad members, plus some were distributed on the van tour and sold on the old BZP store. So while one variety might crop up for sale more often, that's likely due to the limited sample we have. No reason why Lego would produce more of one variety than another... but then again, the Kraata came out funny, so who knows.
  14. Like you said, they have sentimental value. They're all from when these forums were booming, and from members who are no longer active here.
  15. If you're talking about the box, yes, but it's packed away in storage somewhere. It's easier for me to access the disks than the sets. Flintsmith - holding onto that for the moment as it's also packed away, but will be listing it later this year when I move. Still waiting for an admin to increase my inbox space.
  16. In addition to the above, you also have to factor in taxes and shipping from multiple stores. But if it's cheaper to do it through Bricklink, go ahead. Yes, my inbox is full. I purchased a premier membership earlier today, so my inbox space should be increased soon (?)
