I'd root for them in the Super Bowl, but then they'd just lose. For so many years, I always go for the team that ends up losing. >_<

Then you'd better be rooting for the Pats.
Nah, cheer for the Giants. I don't want you to jinx us.
Go Pats, anyway.

This was the most amusing thing since... well, some of your other blog entries

Where would I see an example of "Dark White"...?
I think he means Thok white - it was the darkest shade of white in all the canister sets.
-
Gray (or bley, as you all call it) looks pretty good to me when next to the right colors - as it is applied in the case of Lewa and Pohatu Newvu - it sets off the brighter colors and doesn't make the set look overly garish, IMT.
As for the expense, the sets cost 9.99 USD. Just like always.
As I've said before, I don't mind bley. I mind it being used all the time. -S

I agree with pretty much everything said. It was very well worded, too - I enjoyed reading it.
To some of the questions, may the unknown blades thrusting from the side of Toa Ignika's hovercraft be Kopaka's wings? I don't think they're pieces from an older set. And, Not sure if it will interest you, but the hand pieces have been fortified and filled in - Lego must have had some complaints about how easily they broke.

That's too bad. Which entry is yours?

My brother is busy using Cheat codes and console commands on Jedi Academy right now...
Do you need any?

I'm afraid that I was never that interested in moss or algae when I studied biology, so I don't quite know what Bryophytes are. I always loved trees - especially Sequoias and Redwoods.

1. The Sky. Or at least I hope they do. A City in the Sky (if executed correctly) would be amazing.
2. White and gold, I guess.
3. Winged Toa would be really good - I'd prefer them to jetpacks.
4. Bad. I prefer the old elements to any alternatives.
5. Cruel, calcuating villains. They are much more appealing than beasts (to me.)

Too.......much....grey........
Most of it is gunmetal...
Actually, many robots are metallic in color, so I don't see anything very wrong with that...
Well, I don't really care about the Titans, since I prefer the canister sets. I agree with almost everything bonesiii says, though
. I detested the Rahi from day one, and prefer the recent type of titans. But that's all my personal tastes.
EDIT: Oh, and to be clear, I prefer the sets Lego releases to MoCs
. I haven't seen a single MoC I'd ever spend money on, save the Fikou Stocking Spider
. Again, just my own tastes.

I agree
! I love the style of the more recent sets. The Piraka were my favorite canister villains - that is, until the Barraki came out. I'm glad current sets are selling so well. The Rahkshi back in '03 were amazing partly due to the spines - and all the qualities they possessed - and more - that appealed to me came back in full force with the Barraki. And the Piraka were unique in their own way - never has there been a line of canister sets like them in Bionicle history.
I really like the whole coolified style, and hope that Lego keeps it up. All six of the Toa Mahri have amazing masks, and the Inika before them were great - my favorite Toa. And the sets have a great realism about them - it's the ultimate advancement of Bionicle, in my mind; the potential of the line realized.
This is all, of course, my personal tastes. But I'm glad that Lego is marketing towards them, and even if the demand for a more robotic look among the majority becomes strong in the future, at least I'll have a collection from '06 and '07. Even though Lego sometimes makes decisions that don't appeal to me, on the whole, they've created a great line. So hooray for Bionicle

Seeing as Nuparu is very Inika-like, I agree that he has a great build. And I like the rest, too, even though I disagree that Kongu has a bad mask.
I wish they had given him a weapon other than those blasters, though.

Yeah... Go Patriots

Blown Out Of Proportion!

Is there any reason why they should have human proportions? Is there any reason that a bipedal being should be forced to conform to our shape and build? I'm not sure if there's any evidence that the target audience actually desires a being with perfectly human proportions - for all we know, they may actually prefer beings with exaggerated shoulders, long arms, and relatively flat bodies.
I'm simply curious to hear your reasoning behind this
