Number 2. It has the looks of a real toa and the looks of a real psychic while one is too toa-like and three is too psychic like.

I think Sand blue and Metru green would look the most natural, use that.

Logical though your reasoning is, I still disagree entirely – I don't think their new appearances match their personalities well at all, especially not the Mistika. Phantoka, maybe, but Mistika, definitely not. Tahu has always been fierce and hot-headed, which I thought was embodied especially in the eyeholes of the Hau and Hau Nuva, and the firey red/orange certainly helped. His new mask just looks silly to me, bordering on stealthy (given that he's apparently become a ninja), none of which fit Tahu for me. The rest of the set could work quite well, even with dark red, but since I think so much of a character's appearance depends on the mask, the Hau Mistika just doesn't cut it.

 

Gali... her Nuva form might not have been the best for her character, I'll give you that, but again it just worked for me because it actually looked like her old set. Her new form looks like none of her old forms, and a sniper is one of the last things I could ever see Gali being, as the peacemaker of the group...

 

And Onua, well, as I've said numerous times now: he's the strongest of the Nuva, so this wimpy-looking, thin, stretched-out form conveys exactly the opposite of that.

 

So in my conclusion, I actually loved everything about the Nuva, characters included, and didn't have the slightest objection to them, so sets with almost no resemblance at all to those simply cannot be the Nuva in my eyes. That's all there is to it.

Gali is put in a position where she has to fight, now what's a more peaceful way of attacking, picking someone off from far away without a lot of commotion or going in the middle of the battle waving your giant axes around?

and onua isn't the strongest, pohatu is onua's just stronger because he has the mask of strength.

so yes they are not the best representations of the nuva but I would rather cool new sets with some resemblance to their old selves then nuva revamps and I think that's exactly what lego was thinking when they made the mistika.

P.S. plus axalara lewa has even LESS resemblance to his old self then the mistika do, so why are you bad mouthing the mistika?

Gali... being a sniper? Granted, she has the capability to do so, but c'mon. this is Gali.

can you picture her shooting anyone at anything other than water?

with a gun ? and needing something to aim? (looks at the hefty eyepiece)

what ever happened to graceful Gali?

all this is going to weigh her down.

her shoulders should be smaller, and i'm sorry but i have to laugh at her "ears"

it's laughable.... like two big antennas to pick up a frequency that's not there.

she's more robot than living thing, something you'd see in a science fiction movie.

her mask looks distorted and she has lost all femininity her previous forms retained.

but since gender is only the state of mind, heck, why bother differentiating at all?

Gali's femininity is what makes her unique. the fact that she's one of the most acrobatic is supposed to give you the impression that she's lithe and at least supple.

she looks so limited with all that on, so ungainly, so unlike water, which is flexible. her structure is more suited for Onua than toa of water.

can you imagine a woman's voice from that?

Well yes gali is a woman but a STRONG woman, BS01 describes her as having a bit of a temper so the spikes make sense. Also acrobats are MUSCULAR do you think that some one that can stand on their hands do multiple flips on a small unstable platform would be Skinny McNomuscles? You can be graceful and muscular at the same time, imagine how she fights in the air, she uses the rockets on her feet to slide through the air using flips and twists to get her around, don't you think that's graceful? now imagine how much muscle work it takes to do that AND swim, your going to be muscular. and the mask looks ugly but maybe that junk on it is water breathing tech, I mean lewa's mask as fans in it, pohatu's is aerodynamic, kopaka's has laser tech on it, tahu's is armor plated, all the nuva masks have things on it to show what they do maybe gali's is covered in stuff for her to breath, take all that tech of and you will see gali's beautiful face. and also the point your making is that gali is to tough and muscular now are the people who wield axes tough and muscular, yes don't you think if she's going to battle a small gun would be more suited for a toa of water then two battle axes?

So yes I can imagine a woman's voice coming from that also considering that gali's voice is low and gali is a great swimmer,she's tough, she's powerful, she has a temper, and she used to use axes don't you think that gali would be muscular and a little manly?
