  1. Great, I have been waiting for these names. It is kind of hard to have more of a story when half the characters don't have proper names. I am also glad to hear that genders are no longer tribe based.
  2. I have to wait to get my hands on it, but from a distance this set looks kind of ugly. Maybe it is just not photogenic.
  3. I don't usually get into sets of buildings and architecture, but this looks great. The only way I can think of improving this set would be if they included the hair pieces for the ninja so I could swap them for their helmets.
  4. Well, I guess it is good to have it up for the sake of completion, but I doubt I will be checking it out again soon. Even though I liked Bara Magna and its storyline, I am not a big fan of that movie.
  5. I would prefer that there was no official measurement, but I like its current size. I like it because that means that Spherus Magna is enourmous, and that adds some mystery to the story. Why is Spherus Magna so big? Did it get that way naturally, or did the Great Beings do something to the planet to make it that size? Is the planet even natural at all? I like there being some things off about Spherus Magna because it raises so many questions. The only problem that arises out of the official measurement is that the prototype robot is roughly the same size, so that means that the villages on the small part of Bara Magna explored in the story are months apart. But in my head canon, I just stick them closer together.
  6. I wish that this poll had the interesting options of picking a combo of Toa and Protector from two different elements.
  7. But the final version of the Muaka retained that feature. I personally never liked it and added some pieces to the set so that the set wouldn't fall apart when I played with it.
  8. I love seeing prototype sets. Hopefully he has more videos of other prototypes lying around. But I have to agree with the general opinion on this thread; it is pretty clear why these never got released. Still, at least the proto-Rahi designs were solid enough to have recognizable elements remain in the final figures.
  9. They were both given their lengths in Kios back when they were first introduced. Its underneath the landscape sections of their articles on BS01.
  10. I think that was established in the very early years when they were giving out conversions to the measurements of Kios and Bios.
  11. That's cool. I wonder how the height compares to the official height. He seems to be half to one third the height he has in canon from what I can eyeball.
  12. I definitely like the sets. Comparing these to my other sets, I am convinced that these are the best representations of the original Toa (well, kinda since it is a different universe and all). I want to say the story, but there is so little of it out at this time. I'm going to have to wait for the books to come out before I decide.
  13. When these were first announced, I honestly thought that the armored characters like Jango and Cody would be the best looking sets, but after seeing them, they are the ones that I am the least interested in. I'll still be picking them up since I love Star Wars and CCBS/Bionicle, but I was expecting something more, especially after seeing Vader and Grievous.
  14. I am definitely planning on getting the whole wave, but Cody is the figure I am the least excited for. He just seems kind of plain when compared to any of the other figures revealed so far.
  15. After seeing the 360 video on Grievous, I like him a lot more than I originally did. I'm going to make an effort to pick up the whole line.
  16. I like them both, but Obi Wan a bit more than Grievous. I appreciate what they wanted to do with his arms, but it made other parts of him look really awkward. Still, these are the best non-mainline constraction sets I have seen yet, and I am planning on getting these. I also cannot get enough Bionicle sized capes.
  17. I am not so sure about the Titanic set. I have no idea what Lego's policies are on the matter, but having a set based on a real life disaster, even one that happened quite a while ago, seems like something the Lego group would find distasteful.
  18. I played for a week a year back and completed all of the content in the game. I think they have updated it a bit since then, so I'll try and go back to finish it up. Chima seems to be dying a quick death. I wasn't that into it, but it is a bit said to see Lego end everything about it before its last year is even up.
  19. Probably no where. BZP was what got me into internet forums to begin with, so I don't know if I would have started discussing stuff on the internet without it.
  20. Well, I have several different answers. Lord Garmadon is my favorite character who also was once a villain, but I like him more as a character than a villian. I just think he had a good character arc. But my favorite villain, regardless of other aspects of their character and just related to their villainous-ness, would be Pythor. He just seems to ooze evil when he is featured.
  21. Actually it works out to be about that much. $60 for a new video game, $30 for a 300 piece Lego set, and I guess the extra $10 would be the electronic parts. What is overpriced is the booster packs. $15 is way too much for what is essentially a minifig and some accessories.
  22. I like how themes that have pretty much already ended, like Lord of the Rings, and some new themes are being represented here. Too bad about the prices though. Also, there is an extended trailer out (I saw it on the DC youtube page), and it features the scanner from Ghostbusters, so that may be yet another franchise to be featured in this game.
  23. And they just announced the pricing of these booster packs on different video game news sites. And with the prices, I have lost most of my hope for this game. They are bad by both Lego and Skylander prices. $15 for just the smallest pack, which is barely more than a minifigure. I was expecting a bit of a price increase for the figure stands that work with the game, but that is about a $10 increase. I was hoping this would be a cheap way for me to round out some of my minifigure collections, but that was too much to hope for. That is just too bad, because I have been waiting for games like these to get actually good toy components instead of just mini-statues for a while now.
  24. So since it has been dealing with Warner Bros. franchises (I don't think anything has popped up on Disney franchises like Star Wars or Marvel), it will probably be something to do with either the movies or the video games, since Warner Bros. is in charge of those things. I think I saw someone else say it will be Lego's rumored Disney Infinity/Skylanders competitor, and I think this is the case as well. I can't wait to find out what it will be.
  25. Like a lot of other people have said, I'd like to see a bunch of Nintendo franchises, especially Metriod. I have also always liked the Sony platformers like Ratchet and Sly. I'd think that LittleBigPlanet's hand-crafted aesthetics would transition into pretty cool Lego sets.
