@Sisen: I've heard great things about Bulky Mega Scizor. Not sure if thats the strategy you're going for, though, but if it is then Vaporeon makes a good partner for it since they cover each others weaknesses. Flygon makes a good partner for it for the same reasons, though usually people prefer to go with Garchomp for the dragon/ground typing. Your balance type wise covers most, if not all, so that may be all you need depending on how you want to play each of them.

I saw some good things for it too. I purposely trained my Vaporeon and Trapinch first because I am not sure what set I want to run on Sci just yet. I will either be: 252 HP / 40 Atk / 216 SpD or 248 HP / 252 Atk / 8 SpD.I'm thinking the former set would be better, with something along the lines of Swords Dance, Roost, Bullet Punch, and U-Turn. Otherwise the second set would be Superpower, Pursuit/QuickAttack, Bullet Punch, and U-Turn.

The thing about Superpower is that its currently only available in Gen 5. You'd have to wait until pokébank releases, and you won't be able to benefit from the new breeding mechanics.I'm currently training up a Scyther. Maybe when you've obtained a Scyther you want to use, we can help each other evolve? :)

  3. So, how have your runs on the Battle Maison been?I got up to battle 40 on my last run with a team of Tyranitar, Vaporeon and Aegislash. Lost because I faced a double team/moonlight using Cresselia that had badly poisoned my Vaporeon. I had also badly poisoned the Cresselia before its evasion went sky high, but without another pokémon to switch into and needing two turns for wish to work vs. moonlight's one turn, it couldn't be helped. Next time I get that high I'm going to swap out some moves for Aerial Ace. Then I'll swap out Aegislash for an Icebeam Dragonite if I ever get to battle 50.Pleasantly surprised it took that long for the game to try the double team strategy. Its tried swagger/flatter, hypnosis and paraflinch several times, though.

I've had my Moltres up on the GTS for an Articuno for about a week. No one wants him. Hes the only pokémon I haven't been able to trade off, and some of the trades I've done are ridiculous (got a dragonite for a charizard). Poor Moltres. Forever alone.

You want a Moltres for an Aritcuno. I'd be glad to trade you my Articuno for your Moltres. I already have an Articuno in my Black 2 game that I'm going to transfer over with all my legendaries once Pokémon bank is released. So the Articuno I caught in my Pokémon Y I don't have a need for. Is the Moltres you have on GTS is if from A gen 5 game (Black, White, Black2, White2) Or from X and Y

Yep, X/Y :P That'd be perfect. I think we've already exchanged friend codes, but in case not, mines 1934-0765-5595.
  5. So uh, Storyline spoilers below but

Somebody at Kotaku had found in-game data (Battle model and all) for AZs Floette. We're most likely getting her for a mystery gift, I reckon

Not sure how I'd feel about this...

On the one hand, it'd be nice to see what kind of changes were made to it other than its appearance. Its as if she went through some massive mutation upon being resurrected, because that flower looks creepily like the ultimate weapon.

...Buuuuuuut on the other hand, it feels like a giant kick in the face for the Floette that AZ searched high and low for 3000 years to suddenly end up in our own party, and would pretty much ruin him and the games ending for me. Honestly don't like the sound of that.

  6. I am fully convinced that Diancie has something to do with the crystal in Anistair City.

I'm also looking to expand my FC list so I can get more Pokemon in the Safari. My FC is: 5112-4647- 4619 (Just message me on here, send me an IM, or quote letting me know you added me.)

Added you. My FC is 1934-0765-5595.

  7. Think I've got everyone I want to use on my main team bred/caught. Just gotta evolve one more team member and finish some movesets.

If anyones got a pokémon in the monster egg group (preferably Aron, Tyrunt or Helioptile, but any will do) that has 4 perfect IVs, let me know. I've got some high quality Modest Ralts, Bold Wish Eevees and Adamant Skiddos that have 4 perfect stats each I don't want to risk putting on wonder trade like the rest of the leftovers.

  8. I read somewhere that you must battle Alduin 3 three times before you finish the main quest, and thus, wandered into the final battle a little too early when it turned out you only fight him twice. Was going to finish all of the sidequests I had beforehand D: (though I guess at least I have the rewards to use later now).

I preferred the Miraak battle a lot more. It truly felt like an all out struggle between two titans, whereas the final battle with Alduin, I either got killed almost right away, or killed him almost right away. Not enough time for epicosity.

I also agree that its great the game doesn't restrict you too much in terms of classes. I've tried out pretty much everything except alchemy and illusion, had fun with the massive amount of experimentation that was possible with one character.

  9. I've read in the past that if you leave a pokemon too long in the gts it can disappear, but I always assumed it was just some sort of limitation with the system.

The fact it appears to be a legitimate mechanic of the gts sounds rather annoying.
