    Tempted to move up to one of the snapshots. I don't feel like working on my Technic world lately and am itching for those new items *.*

    While not ideal I suppose you could make an elaborate puzzle out of them. Like, have one room with a lever that opens the door and a command block that leads back outside, then have a maze of encased rooms with different teleportations that lead to it. Get the first part of the password right, move onto the next room for the next part of the password...get it wrong and get dumped in lava

    It basically allows you to program the block with commands that an admin would normally be able to use, except they're triggered with a redstone signal instead. Like, you could wire up a button to one to automatically teleport someone to preset co-ordinates, or get it to spawn items, or change the weather or time. Stuff like that.

    Does anyone else have any building plans for the new command block? Personally I'd like to build a portal terminal in my vanilla map.

    So, according to Dinnerbone, the player heads won't drop in vanilla Minecraft. moderator makers and map makers will be able to add the nbt tag "skullowner" to change the skin on them, but apparently that will be it.

    Oh, ignore that. Bukkit occasionally outputs the message if theres a bit of slowdown, but theres nothing that really has to be fixed. I'd often get a stream of that message when co-oping with a friend of mine with no noticeable change in performance.

    Still can't get in. If there are already others on the server, it could be more of a client side issue...I'll backup my .jar and force an update, and see what happens

    Plus IIRC, we didn't really have a problem with TNT until the server was advertised to every Tom Dick and Harry and brought in griefers.

    How does this decapitation work? Is it a rare drop with the same chance as Wither Skeletons or is it guaranteed or somewhere inbetween?With the timezone difference and college its possible I may not be on often, but still definitely looking forward to being on the server. You rock, PM

    *Shrugs* The grinder wouldn't need any non-vanilla materials to work, but, ok.

    I saw a minecrafter named Zisteau make an Endervator. The idea is that an enderpearl is thrown up at a ceiling, and when you get teleported up you trigger a tripwire that closes the floor beneath you. Consecutive jumps would lead upward to his floating home. Its quite clever.

    Looking forward to it, PM. The best way to discover a servers limit is an outright stress test, though. And since we're on the subject of spawners, may I call dibs on building a small Endermen grinder in the End? I've grown fond of using Enderpearls for non-moderator item travel and would love to build something that could be useful for anyone.

    Apparently a new Mystery Dungeon game was announced for the 3ds, subtitled Magnagate and the Infinite Labyrinth. Unlike previous games, it seems to just be one version instead of two.Not much info right now, but possible pokémon that the player can become at the start are Pikachu, Axew, and the Unovan starters. Again, you're a human who becomes a pokémon, while falling into a dream. Augmented reality can also be used to open paths to new dungeons.

    How could you have not known? I've been using it as my main building material since I updated to the latest version ._.I like the idea of an archive. All kinds of archives, really. You could style the entrance to make it like some sort of material vault, that keeps everything contained and safe.

    I think Snivy is the only Grass starter thats my favourite out of its own generation.Treecko came close, but...dat Mudkip.

    Dunno about its usefulness, but Chikorita is certainly not the most popular starter out there...

    Golden Sun lighthouse idea seems nice. It'd fit in perfectly as a centrepiece.

    IIRC, Iron, gold, diamond, and emeralds. There may be different effects for the different ores in the future, though, thats not guaranteed.Edit: Nice choice. Gold would match well with the new texture of the crystal inside the block, too.

    Yeah, the Beacons are probably what I'm looking forward to the most. Them and the item frames.

    The Nether Star would probably be more Trophy-like in that respect, though considering since there are multiple mob heads, they'd certainly be a trophy of their own.Even though the heads are rare, I can see someone letting a Wither loose in the overworld on a multiplayer server to wreak havoc. Many will probably try to program some way to disable Wither spawning. Pity. I'm really looking forward to those beacons.
