Hmmm... impressive movie project I must say. For the last year or two, I have been working on the same exact thing, but for a much later release date... in movie theaters. Yeah, kinda ambitious, but you had the better idea to have BZP unite for this.

About what Shadow is -- like in many other media-lines, BIONICLE makes Shadow a curious element to which its effects are over-exaggerated to a point where it is not only the absence of Light, but also its complete opposite. As in; rather than being bright and warm (a radiant product of heat, basically) like Light, it is black and cold. Thus, it seems to somewhat only make sense for Shadow to have

...my idea being having a really solemn male narration in complete darkness, similar to the mysteriousness of the opening to LotR: Fellowship of the Ring. Then use the MNOLG first cutscene with Mata Nui by penetrating the darkness with a very bright glow as the Stone falls into the sand.

You are completely correct in that you never please everyone. Not that I have complaints, except that there are too many complaints. Besides a few MINOR errors, BIONICLE is perfect. Even Vakama's betrayal in 2005 was good in my eyes!
