  1. Oh, I missed the start due to finished the last ten pages on my university Asia Pacific Human Rights essay. Can I still play or did it get too crowded?
  2. Wow, that looks frustrating as heck.
  3. Welcome to the wonderful world of songwriting!
  4. Transformers Animated suffered from a poor framerate and some poor direction.
  5. Or how about you just learn to be patient? Than's a moderator, he probably has better things to do. The forums only just came back online.
  6. Actually, he cut a big chunk out of the end of Return of the King. Which is an important thematic part of the original book too. That said, Return is my favourite of the three, if only for the huge battles and having an army of undead actually be good guys for once. Lucas is already erasing novels from canonicity with the Clone Wars series, he'd probably have no qualms with wiping out later novels.
  7. There is a very high level of defensiveness in this topic, bordering on nasty levels. Like Cathexis (a properly-trained academic psychology expert, I know, he's been my friend for years) mentioned earlier in the topic, Aspergers is in fact in the process of being absorbed back into the Autism label. This is because Autism itself comes in at several very different levels, and Aspergers fits right at the lowest state. Like he said, it's just Autism without the speech difficulties, or so incredibly vague that you might as well say the only way to get Aspergers is to read the wikipedia article about Aspergers. The key point here is that psychology is a study and science constantly in flux, and what may be accepted in one generation is debunked in another. This is because our understanding of the human mind is ever-evolving, and in fact as society changes our minds change too, so we can never fully get a grasp on it. In the end, using terms like "Neurotypicals" and so forth is just putting up a wall between you and other people, and if you want to be able to live a good, normal life, putting up walls is a bad thing.
  8. Because both shows are slow and easy to follow, conversation-wise? Lots of easy Japanese. Which is what he wants.
  9. The ability to remove everyone else's superpowers.
  10. Because your post wasn't even clear on what it was in the first place bar some very awful stereotypical weirdness?
  11. Starscape: Sounds like it's going to be slowpaced, but sure why not Approved
  12. No, Nerd means someone who is intellectual, skilled in one field, and generally introverted about it.
  13. I was actually leaning more towards ships made from organic material, AKA corpses. And bile. Look forward to it!
  14. I still think the first two episodes were the best of the lot.
  15. My favourite meme is when everyone stops talking about their memes.
  16. Oh yeah, do you allow fully-biological races with organic ships and stuff?
  17. No really. Lovecraft's scary stuff is the undead stuff. His "eldritch horrors" are just variations of the word "mass" or "bulk" which sits in some dingy place and whose only purpose is to drive curious people crazy. It's incredibly rustic and quaint. Like Lovecraft's writing really.
  18. 1. yes2. I went up a bra size.
  19. I personally follow the "throw in everything until people complain then fix it" methodology. I call it the Team Fortress 2 Approach.
  20. You know, the reason I made IL was as an experiment into how much autonomy you can give players. The results were mixed, of course, but people stuck with it and it definitely went places. Hopefully this new one will be patched up more.
  21. Ha ha ha ha ha Maybe if you're scared by verbs
  22. Then start with something simple, like Lucky Star or A Channel.
