    Yup, I've. . . considerably come to a point where I can upload my latest Chimoru revamp onto majhost. This is here so you can download it in case Dark709 doesn't add it to the front page.
     
    Quick secret: I thought up of this when I did the tri-shade Chimoru and thought "What would be overdoing it?" So I made the idle pose for the Matoran and this happened.
     
    Use as you like and give credit where credit's due.
     
    Update 3/4/09: I've PMed the whole thing to Dark. Now I'm waiting for approval. If he approves, I'll be able to revamp his expressions. Next update in the meantime is the alternate green-and-lime Matoran color schemes.
     
    Update 3/9/09: I have permission from Dark to revamp the expressions. They will come in next update along with some new masks. For now, the next update is the original green color scheme on Matoran and Metruan bodies as well as some installments by Philbert and VTK.
     
    Update 3/20/09: The expressions are finished, as well as new masks. I've also corrected Gatotak's name mispronouncication.
     
    Update 3/29/09: Since I did them in the three-shade kit, I have been at war with these sprites. They are proof Dark did not "whip these up in at most a week". They were a brutal pain to make in the three shade kit and they were a pain to make now. The full Toa Nuva spritesheet is now finished. In addition, a new fan-made mask spinny is up.
     
    Update 4/19/09: After a large hiatus, I have decided that the next update involves "Chickmoru", Mercenus' (right?) female Matoran spritesheet. Also, now, you can find the new walking poses for Chickmoru as well as my 360 Kakama Nuva and Akaku in two-shade. You can also find the original Chimoru colors in six-shade. I'm working on some comics I need a six-shade Rahkshi on, so it'll be next.
     
    Update 4/26/09: I recently recieved a PM from Mercenus telling me not to use anything of his due to the leak of Chimoru 2.0, but since I don't have it he said I could continue with what I was doing, which means the movie-style Makuta Teridax could be next. Additionally, the six-shade Rahkshi and Vahki are done. Also, a two-shade non-Gimplifried kraata has been added to the bonus section. Can't believe I didn't post the little guy earlier. I have him in three-shade as well, so I got him from there. Right now, I need to work on Dark's new uber-colorful Matoran spritesheet. It'll be a long, tough battle...
     
    Update ?/??/09: The new Matoran spritesheet is done.
     
    Update 5/6/09: Version 2.0 of the six-shade kit is up. This one is a lot bigger than the last one. Not to be confused with Mercenus's Chimoru 2.0, which I won't be doing for a long, long time. For now, just settle for VTK's Mctoran, Chimoru Alpha, and two versions of Mata Nui.
     
    Update 5/22/09: The Toa Inika and Matoran spinnies are up. I can't think of anything obnoxious or witty to say this time, so the Bohrok are next.

    Well, it's that old Yuletide season again. I must admit this stock was very prosperous, in the way of Bionicle sets. I managed to recieve Gresh, Nektann and Skrall, the three Stars I was missing, but...
     
    I also got ALL. SIX. MCTORAN.
     
    This is good. My Jaller's arm broke. I needed a backup.

    Okay, so some of the ArtIII guys have been planning this for a while now, and I agreed to host the rules for it on my blog. However, it won't be held here.
     
    The Computerized Comics Convention, aka "C3".
     

     
    What is C3?
    C3 is, as noted above, a computerized comics convention. It takes it's inspiration Electronic Entertainment Expo, aka "E3". C3 generally focuses on BZPower comics and movies, such as the ones from the Artwork III Forum, however, video games from the Fan Created Games can also be exhibited.
     
    What can we do?
    You can show off your latest work, tease your fans with spoilers and previews, show animation tests or video clips to wow an audience, provide demos and gameplay trailers from your next game, give a glimpse of what you have in store for your next saga, and introduce new viewers to your work.
     
    How does it work?
    First, you will create an exhibit telling about your comics/game/movie and provide some screenshots or videos. From there, you can do whatever. Be creative and do something unexpected, or just drop a bomb by releasing something that people have been waiting for years. The sky is the limit.
     
    When and where will it be held?
    It will be held from Tuesday, July 20th, to Thursday, July 22nd in Kahinuva's blog.
     
    What is the schedule?
    So far, the schedule calls for both a morning and a night showing for each day. Each showing will have six exhibits in them: three Major Exhibits and three Minor Exhibits. This will amount to six exhibits a day, or eighteen exhibits total. Please keep in mind that may change considering the amount of reservations received.
     
    What is the difference between a "Major" and a "Minor" exhibit?
    The difference lies between the amount of content you can put into an article: Minor Exhibits can have only one image (up to500x500 in size) and up to 90 words. However, Major exhibits must have over 100 words, but they can have three images (up to 800x800 in size).
     
    When do I send in my entry?
    First, you can reserve a Major or Minor spot by PMing Kahinuva (Note: your exhibit does not need to be completed at the time of reservation). Then, you complete your exhibit and send it to Kahinuva via the link above. We would like to have all Major Exhibits in by the Friday, July 16th and Minor ones by Sunday, July 18th.
     
    Why is the name "Computerized Comics Convention" when you can also submit games and movies?
    We first came up with C3 with comics being the only kind you could submit, but expanded it. However, we were at loss for a better name/acronym. If you can think of a better one, please do tell.
     
    Note: Please, when you reserve a exhibit, tell us what series you want it to be reserved for. Also, if you want to link your images, then you can have as many as you like. However, all minor exhibits must still stay in the 500x500 range.

    So I looked at this and thought "Why wasn't this canon?"
     
    Help join the cause to give Vezon an axe for a hand in the story serials! If Greg can magically make old deceased characters alive again, he can at least make this alternte set portrayal exist.
     
    And by the way, it won't be a shield, it will actually be the blade of an axe replacing his hand. Shields are so generic. Also, if this is confirmed, it will have to have existed for the past six years, starting with Kardas' first appearance.

    I was looking up my name in the Artwork III forum (Don't, it has some spammy posts of mine from yeeeeeears ago that I don't want you seein') and WOW.
     
    I found comics I've never even heard of or bothered to look at, and yet with the six-shade Chimoru or even the three-shade rendition, people are using my stuff.
     
    I've left a huge impact, and to all who use it, I'm touched. :blush:

    What? You thought I lied? That I'd never be Premier again? That there would never be a blog named "FREE EASY MONEY!!!"?

    Awesome Christmas present, eh? Lifetime Premier membership. (Includes a FREE* proto boost!) Yes, I have gone Premier for as long as BZPower lives. And I won't forget about the blog!
     
    Man, there's so many things that happened after the day my blog died... I'm going to go ahead and blabber them all out!
     
    It all started October 31. Halloween.
     
    My dad and I decided to skip the trick-or-treating this year and stay home and scare the kids for a change. By the time it was over, I had only a few victims.
     
    My job was that I would be "chained" to the bench in my Buster (from Mythbusters) helmet from two Halloweens ago. (I call the costume "Buster's Revenge".) So, I chained myself to the bench and waited.
     
    The first victims walked up to the candy and tried to grab it while they were pretty much terrified that I would jump up and scare them.
     
    That was exactly what I did.
     
    I looked and the brave one who tried to get candy was on the floor. I asked if they were okay, then I let them have their candy. They stepped down off the porch.
     
    That's when my dad jumped out of the bushes in a gorilla suit.

    I found the best book ever before leaving for Thanksgiving vacation where I began to question whether or not people would really tell if I was on vacation or not. The book is called "BAT BOY LIVES!" It's several entries from faux newspaper "Weekly World News". I might tell some articles here, such as "SANTA FOUND FROZEN IN CHUNK OF ICE!" and "FOUR PEOPLE ENTER PORTABLE TOILET... AND MYSTERIOUSLY DISAPPEAR!"
     
    The bookstore I usually pass was not on the way to the hotel, so I couldn't get it there. The Borders at the mall in my destination didn't have it. So I was stuck without this incredible book until the end of the vacation. :angry: I managed to get to the usual bookstore and find it, though, so it had a happy ending.

    Many things came between then and now... I can't remember them all... I'll just skip them and go to Christmas.
     
    I did GREAT! My "goal" this year is to collect all 2008 Bionicle sets, and I only have Gali, Gorast, and Vultraz left! I managed to get Rockoe T3, Axalara T9, Skrall, Malum, Atakus, Raanu, Zesk, and Tarduk! (Hmm, same order as when I got the Toa Mata. I smell conspiracy.) Coincidentally, I obtained Pohatu and Lewa Phantoka 365 days before!
     
    I also got a blue DS Lite. (My old one was broken anyway.) Not nearly as rare as Blade Titan974's golden one, but still pretty shiny. I also read about the DSi, which will ocme to the US later in 2009. I want it, too! WANT WANT WANT. But my DS Lite will still come in handy, as the DSi can't play GBA games like Quest for the Toa and Matoran Adventures.
     
    Know what else I got? The computer I'm posting this on! Yup, I got a laptop! It's blue and it's pretty small. It doesn't have MalWarrior on it. (Thank Mata Nui!) The only problem is the shrinking text... But I'll find a way around it. I really like it.
     
    I also recieved the Chuck Norris 2009 Box Calendar.

    Figured I'd let you all know I'm sick. I don't know entirely what I have, though I know it's not swine flu (or that weird lettering they call it now). All I know is that I cough too much, and every couple minutes I get really dizzy.
     
    And I'm risking another dizzy spell just by informing you all this. I'll be on the spottily, folks.

    Years ago, my parents painted my room using a sponge. Somehow, a skull-shaped mark showed up on the wall. That "skull" haunted me for years.
     
    Until today.
     
    So I'm getting my room redesigned to look like a hotel room. (I don't think it will come up looking exactly like one.) Today we started painting the walls. I grabbed a roller and painted an entire wall. Then, I crushed the skull. I painted dead over it. Now it's gone for good.
     
    Oh and by the way I'm not doing the kit anymore.

    Seriously, I earned $12.93 in school. $7.93 was found on the ground, and I won five dollars (USD) in a raffle for a fundraiser.
     
    I plan on spending it, along with my allowance, on Toa Mata Nui. Once I buy that I'll have the three biggest sets in 2009, along with Thornatus and Skopio.

    On this day in history, I ate the worst slice of pie I have ever eaten in my life.
     
    It was "Buttermilk Pie" if I remember correctly. I guess the cafeteria thinks buttermilk pie is essentially melted butter and old milk for the filling.
     
    A friend of mine wanted to get the pie (but this was before I decided to get it!), so after lunch I told him to be glad he didn't get it. I gagged twice today thinking about it.
     
    Hopefully, your school cafeterias are (or were, if you are an older member) better than this.

    I've been getting bored on this forum lately. So I've decided to make my own kit. I'm not sure if it will come out anytime soon. It'll probably come out in the summer at least.
     
    Just for the fun of it, I've provided a sneak preview.
     

     
    And no, I did not take inspiration or dead-copy off anyone's kit here in the forum. There's one thing I did take inspiration from... and it has nothing to do with Bionicle or BZPower whatsoever.

    Christmas break is finally upon us. I get two weeks off!
     
    A quick update on school: I have managed to make a grand total of $115 from money off the ground. In addition, the cafeteria was selling buttermilk pie again today- this time as "chess pie". You know something's wrong when they have to change the name of something to sell it.

    Looks like I finally managed to find game-making software! Too bad I didn't buy it yet.
     
    Expect a game before I'm 21.
     
    I've started on the sprites. It's a cartoony RPG nightmare. (If you've ever seen the "wall decoration stance" from TMUCW: Episode VIII, it's essentially that)

    So, I went into Toys-R-Us in high hopes of finding the Stars, most likely Tahu.
     
    I didn't find what I wanted. In a way.
     
    They didn't have Tahu, but they did have the rest of the Stars. I noticed when I saw Gresh. I almost turned away when I saw that his helmet was completely lime green. That's what got me.
     
    (Speaking of Gresh, I wonder how Dlakii feels about the new one. I mean, he's Gresh, but he's not Gresh, but then again, he's Gresh... Man, I need to ask him.)
     
    So they didn't have Tahu. Some nostalgic collector weenies must've nabbed them. (Hey, wait! I'm one of them!) So I ruined someone else's hopes by purchasing the last Takanuva and Rahkshi.
     
    I was able to build the Rahkshi in the car. He's pretty easy, but pretty complex at the same time. You might need to turn the instruction book a couple times. Also, much to my disappointment, the head comes attached to the spine. I figured, well, since it looked like the original head, it would be a separate piece. In addition, it might be more of a nightmare for MOCists than it looks.
     
    Oh, and it's made of a softer type of plastic than the normal hard plastic. NOT RUBBER. This drives me insane. The squids and maybe shadow leeches were made out of rubber, but other than that it's mostly been soft plastic. Shocker.
     
    So all in all, despite being one of LEGO's most blatant attempts to smother brown with Keetorange, it's actually pretty nice to have a different Rahkshi and new characters amongst old ones in general. Oh, and no kraata. Sorry. But I have two Heat Vision kraata from 2003, so ha ha. I'll try to cram one in there. If you have the Rahkshi don't tell me the results.
     
    Next there's Takanuva. He took me a whole two minutes to build.
     
    Takanuva's build is pretty easy. I had to consult the manual a few times, but that's okay.
     
    Box shots are awful. Takanuva carries two staffs, but it looks like he's carrying two bonecutter blades. (Well, technically, he's carrying two boncutter blades with two leg piston rod thingies.) So this can screw spriters up.
     
    The Avohkii? Other than it being a lighter color than Makuta's hands, in the way of MOCing, if you have '03 Makuta you ain't missin' much. One of the things I generally didn't like about him was he fact that there was barely any silver; mainly being gray and white, so the Avohkii clashes a bit. On a related note, they use the '08 Avtoran head, but I don't mind, seeing as how I'm getting sick of the IRONMANIRONMANIRONMAN heads.
     
    The last problem I have is the weird Avtoran body with nothing behind it. Raanu was the Agori on the Toilet. Now Takanuva's the Toa on the Toilet, or TotT if you like abbreviations.
     
    So all in all, Takanuva's okay, but unless you're a total MOCer out for pieces, trying to collect the GOLDEN BIONICLE, or he's the last one and you want to ruin someone's hopes, I reccomend you save the TotT for later.
     
    Also, YES I HAVE THESE. My apologies for no pics, my DSi is in a dying state. So don't bomb me with the "pics or it didn't happen" line unless you're not being serious.
