Heh, I'm happy when I hear a person is creeped out by a story from me but there's no lies being told in regards to paranormal stuff.
Like the other day where we have our recently deceased dog's ashes and the memorabilia we had of him jumped FORWARDS and... yeah, crazy stuff but no "story" telling.
"Plasma ball"? Again, I never really read up on stuff like that.
All I know of ball lightning is what I saw when I was a teenager.
It was a pretty calm sky at twilight looking out over a cornfield... but there in the sky was a single cloud with a freaking light show like you never saw going on inside it. For a brief moment it came out the bottom and went back in, continuing it's colorful explosions for many, many minutes. I THINK that chaotic thing was what is called ball lightning. The thing that came out the bottom was circular anyway.
The light on the road though... man, I just don't know.
UFO... Hrrm, it seems to be a bit too... small... for being a UFOLol... made me chuckle there.

Just pop it in for 3 minutes... no special settings or anything.
But you know, even then you still have to listen for the end of the popping based on the brand you're cookin'.

TBB is so disappointing these days. It's always the same people getting blogged, and the MOCs aren't the highest calibur. Feels more like a gallery for those famous online builders.
Also, I'm loling at the Flickrites who think the Bionicle parts intergration is totally unique. Not so when all you do is tack the parts on a stud or by friction. One kid went so far as to call it fusion.
It's still an awesome MOC though, just a bit too limey.
TBB is a little too dramaey for me.
Like someone on another Lego site said, System builders intruding into Bionicle parts are not as versatile as Bionicle builders intruding into System.
I'd say one exception is this moc... but yeah, a bit too limey.

Steal underpants, duh.

Bionicle 2010 weaponry, please take this image down and submit it to the news crew.
Same goes for any Flosarax projectile pics that may have accompanied this one.

I am the only person they have had who will bury himself 3/4 into muddy undergrowth and then burst out
I am the only person to have literally crawled through an entire firefight and pick off the enemy snipers from behind,
The one and only time I went to a paintball forest... that was me.
Everyone there was a bunch of reject weirdos that thought they were military geniuses.
However, the other team (also reject weirdos) had these 3 Japanese dudes in draped camo who didn't speak English and carried fully automatics.
The whistle would blow and those 3 just went BAM straight to the ground to go and steal our flag on their bellies time and again. Noone really noticed them until after many games.
In the last game, I let all the yahoos go howling off into the woods and I just jumped behind a tree into like 3 feet of mosquito-infested water. Inevitably, they showed up and I held them from our flag without getting hit.
I snagged one and held the other two down until the game was over... even though I'd run out of ammo and was just tossing pebbles when I fired to make them not realize it.

Nanites and gene manipulation.
THIS is our future.
Nanites especially. They're going to be EVERYWHERE and in EVERYTHING. Trust me.

That'd be my first guess (after mind-altering substances, lol)
Lol, no. I've always been curious what drugs are like but got into my 30's realizing I'd never tried/done any and decided to keep going. : p
You know... I don't know. Never looked into "ball lightning" knowledge too far.
You hear lightning and expect it to be something seen prior to a rainstorm. It was pretty dry out, we were REALLY close to it (feet!) and it followed the curve of the road... you'd think a ball of electricity would follow a metal guard rail... but this one continued even beyond one.
In fact, this ball of electricity was extremely close to said guard rail... wouldn't it have absorbed it?
I saw ball lightning once before, and the puppy was chaotic, not perfectly controlled like this.
Meh, who knows?
How do you know it wasn't a ghost or some sort of spirit? Don't they glow sometimes?Heh, who knows really. It did have "ghostly" qualities. It closer matches a UFO or ball lightning though.
For all I know we're just brains in vats thinking we're alive and walking around... but for the sake of confusion I'll just take the conventional route and say we're all real people lol.

I am actually in the middle (more like 10%) of my biggest moc ever.
If I'm lucky / clever enough, it'll be done this year lol.
And then... there's 2010. Some on here might know what I'm referring to but to sum it up... I'm going to have many, many parts.
Still, even with a lot of parts, it doesn't mean mocs will be any better than they already are.
Oh, I'd LOVE to make a moc that is 6 feet tall and serves drinks, but dude...
...I just do NOT have the patience or the mechanical reasoning to sit down and learn the language of Mindstorms.

NUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUU
That, in combination with the avatar, made that the best post.

I'll give you all of my fists. I have no lime ones, but they're yours if you wanna trade.
Interesting, interesting.
Anything you were looking for in particular?
I do admit though, I'm a guy who keeps the most ..."awful?" parts around, knowing there'll be a use for them in the far future.
Man, you make my buying a bunch of those big Vader helmets look smart.Like heck I do! lol
That part is AWFUL for mocing!
I've come CLOSE to using it... but just never finished anything I'd worked on.
However now that you brought that part's existence back to my brain, maybe I'll go ahead and execute one of the ideas.
There's better parts available today that help the original configuration not look ridiculous.

I can honestly say that if people are assaulted with annoying stories like that, who can blame them for calling those who believe in ghosts kooks?
Never did, never will.Torhuki
And that's perfectly fine. Some people are knee-deep in the stuff while others go their whole lives never bumping into things.
Both situations are ok.
Do realize though, that respect is in order.
People like me and others are not "jumping at shadows".
Granted, there's TONS of childish, inane, (and downright STUPID) depictions of ghosts in media as well as shows claiming to be investigating while they're just clearly manufacturing silliness.
It's the stuff that actually gets caught on film, audio and video that should be considered before dropping a blanketed poopoo statement on the whole subject.

Those long slopes... I was on there all night looking at dozens of stores trying to find the cheapest possible items under the search parameter "Supports"... ... ...then I happened on those and thought, "Oh, snap! Cheap elevation!
Likewise, those parts would come in handy as outer covering for a giant robo I'm makin'.
The fists will have to wait.
Besides, Lego hasn't made them in black (ARGH!) and none of the sellers had them in lime (AAAARGH!)

I'm sure he could be all "Hey, mai bff scientist friend, make me a time machine" and he'd tromp off to 1903.
I've always been partial to Neville Longbottom facts.....
I was thinking more Larry Sinclair... but he's not a scientist.

Hee.
We were created out of the scariness of noobs.
It's balance, I say, BALANCE!

Man, I just watched like the first few episodes of Batman : The Brave and the Bold.
It's nice seeing them go back to something more like the original Joker (not pictured in first post, oddly).
Great show, great show... ...even if the opener sounds / looks a LOT like Cowboy Bebop.

DANG you made out!
I miss steals like that.
Go you!
Question... was that an auction from a site that sells a ton of brick,
we can't link
to because of forums... or was it an auctioney auction site?

It was only a kiss
It was only a kiss
Now I'm falling asleep
And she's calling a cab
While he's having a smoke
And she's taking a drag

Indeed, indeed.
I've had 2 dark green ones sitting around here for YEARS.
One problem I had was whenever I tried incorporating them somewhere, I wound up realizing that I'd hid too much of what makes them cool, essentially using them as one would the regul.... reg...
OH MY GOD, RUN FOR IT!

I was downright SHOCKED last Fall when I went into "Loves Saves the Day" in New York City and grabbed a few Throwbot sets someone had JUST brought in for something stupid like $3.5o each... even more weird, boring, mundane common toys sell in there for deca-dollars.
I made out.

Sounds infectiony. Bad tooth perhaps?
I had that happen in 2002 when I cracked a tooth... just got up from a nap, felt hot, sweaty and "odd"... then was like, "WOAH MOMMA WHERE'S THE PORCELAIN?!?"
