Weather's been crazy this year. Yesterday morning we had hail coming down... except they were encapsulated in a fluffy shell of snowflakes... looked like eggs from a "beginning of life" documentary.

Then last night, it got down a degree or two below zero.

Now? It's 60 degrees.

What? Crazy, crazy...

Yeah, it's supposed to be above 60 degrees by Saturday. (Which is perfectly fine for March.)

Hahaha.... I love those forklift tongs! Got a bunch of them sitting around inside half-finished mocs going nowhere.

All the wonderful variations I'm hearing sure make it sound like a bot.

Leet here, bad grammar there, proper english here... ...then it's bad image here, gory image there, financial threat here, account threat there, commie declaration here...

Nah, I never had this myself. Just remember a radio show I heard while driving a few years back... the host, a doctor, was on vacation in the Caribbean away from civilization and had to improvise. He had some weird infection from diving that resulted in hardened earwax.

Granted, he had had his friend as a final step use the straw again to blow the water from his mouth into his ear... but he did point out that wouldn't have been necessary... just quicker.

More importantly, WHY do I remember it so vividly?

Exactly... if the part never came in a Bionicle set in that color.

Tahu's 2001 red sword? Fine.

Same red sword with small fire accents from a Racing set? NO.

Same sword in black from a Bionicle playset with minifigs? NO.

Same sword in light blue from a Glatorian set? Fine.

Likewise, Technic tire from a racing set? NO. ...not unless it was in a Bionicle set and in that same color.

You get the idea...

Like you, I rushed headfirst into things and wound up having to withdraw my own entry!

I imagine that there's going to be at least one disqualification (possibly my own! lol) as people accidentally plop non-Bionicle parts in without thinking.

I'm so going to have to keep a Firefox tab open with a popular selling / set inventory site so's I can make SURE they're actually Bionicle.

Okay, what about black Kalmah tentacles?

PRETTY sure you could only use pearl light gray (8935) and orange (8917). The black came in 2 multi-model sets (8925, 8927) with minifigs.

I base that on this, which I interpret to mean, "It can be a Bionicle piece in any color, so long as that color occurs in a non-playset Bionicle set".

Newer Bionicle parts, such as those available in the power miner sets are NOT allowed.

This addresses this question as well, as I think they're confusing a rule on "color" with "manufacturing date".

Dude... I bought I dunno' HOW many of these for 4 bucks a pop.

They were most helpful in my early mocing...

Especially back in the lime and orange deprived days...

#5 just never should have happened.

And now I feel an urge to hunt down #4.

I look at the Fallen figure and see just a bunch of inspirations haphazardly thrown together.

I see someone trying to cash in on the designs of Terminator : Salvation coming out soon.

I see someone trying to incorporate H.R.Giger's Alien look.

I see (ew) the nightmare that was last year's Megatron (who isn't too different in this movie).

And the worst thing is the unintentional thing I see... Beast Machines Strika's hands... which are totally unforgivable.

This is just a mishmosh, a complete mess... like just about all the bad guys are!
