  1. Nice work but I notice some problems. His back seems to be to far out in your model, but this may be accurate, I am not sure. The pieces that connect the arms also seem to far away from the torso compared to the pictures. I also think I see another gold piece on his back through one of the pin holes, in Dorek's pictures. Edit: Actually, I think you have nailed it and just a few things need to be flipped around, I sent a message to explain. Now you know how it feels! The gold piece was infuriating, so I eventually dismissed it as trick of the light, like how the eyestalk is reflected on part of the chest armor.
  2. *Maniacal Laughter* I've cracked the code and figured out MM Makuta, henceforth known as triple M. Front:https://drive.google.com/file/d/0B0po4RbFJEpXZmE2VkJZbWFBVHBJaTFzOFhjRjh3T0NocnNZ/view?usp=sharing Back:https://drive.google.com/file/d/0B0po4RbFJEpXblRqdzcza2tXcUk1ZnY0MjBvam9xOVdQSEU4/view?usp=sharing Aerial:https://drive.google.com/file/d/0B0po4RbFJEpXMEsxMjIwTzRwYXFvZHZqd1dfMjdhZ3R3LXZZ/view?usp=sharing The only inaccurate part is the hammer head. I don't have 41 trans purple studs, so I used 41 trans light blue. On a side note, in total, extras included, all of Gen 2 has 41 trans light blue studs in total. Funny that. Until Agil comes out. Then it's 42.
  3. Just when I think I'm out, they pull me back in. I can't figure out MM Makuta's shoulders. I think it has a setup similar to Korgot, but I can't figure out anything else. Anyone got any ideas?
  4. Exo-Raptor. It kept the selling point of the main model, while looking sweet.
  5. It was impossible to keeps its head in position when it started moving. It was only incredibly frustration when it wasn't. Toa Kaita. I feel they managed functionality the best.
  6. At this point, you're my friggin hero. Glad I asked for pics of triple m. I had the shoulder joints all wrong. I had the hammer right though.
  7. Any shots of the mask maker? Pretty sure I got him figured out, but it never hurts to check.
  8. First, which one is the overlord? is it the purple one or the one with the throne? I seen lots of people mention it as their favorite. Second, *squeeeeeeeee*
  9. Good find! Also, I knew there was an extra ball joint. I feel so relived. I'm not crazy after all!
  10. 1. Uniter Tahu, Uniter Onua, Umarak the Destroyer, Umarak the Hunter, Ikir, Mask Maker vs Skull Grinder, Lord of Skull Spiders. It seems to use one more ball joint than the component sets have. 2. Yes. Yes it is.
  11. I was open to it when it came out, as I simply saw it as a new incarnation of constraction. I'm a Transformers fan, and this kind of stuff happens all the time in that franchise. It's probably why I was so willing to accept G2. Besides, Hero Factory gave us piloted mecha. That was all I needed.
  12. Here ya go. http://www.shapeways.com/product/EYS9XLFMA/bionicle-mask-of-ultimate-power?li=shareProduct Also, despite how great these pictures are I am still a very untalented builder. If anyone who can make him decides to make step-by-step instructions, please let me know. I don't have a very good camera, but I could probably help if it's just a few parts you need help with. I'd be happy to help. Perhaps "untalented" wasn't the best word. I don't think I could decipher any of the model at all. It just isn't of my skills. So, please don't go out of your way just for me. I was just hoping someone would happen to be doing it anyway.Weird. I'm the opposite. I'm not very good at original ideas, but I'm fairly skilled at reverse engineering models. It still bothers me that the model uses 15 balljoints when the component sets only have 14, though.

  14. His shoulder joints , friction gears, and portions of the hammer.
  15. Dorek's posted the additional pictures. Turns out the only part I managed to get correct was the fauld. Check them out on this topic http://www.bzpower.com/board/topic/23087-journey-to-one-makuta-instructions/
  16. *Squee* Thankyouthankyouthankyouthankyou EDIT: Having built the model, it seems like it uses one more ball joint than the component sets have. Did anyone else have this problem, or did I simply misinterpret the pictures?
  17. But what of the neck gear? I'm not sure why I fixate on that so much. In all seriousness, though, you did quite well. I'm impressed. When this topic started, I half expected it to die before it accomplished anything. I thank you very much, and congratulate you on unraveling the mystery surrounding the Master of Shadows. *Applause*
  18. That's the topic I was referring to in my last few posts. I still see a few flaws in the attempt though, mainly the neck gear.
  19. Beginning to think this is a plot meant to turn us bitter towards the franchise. Well played, Lego, well played. I'll keep working on it. Though, the pictures show Black axles in the jaw piece, so that throws a wrench in things EDIT: Someone on ttv is almost done with their makuta build. I think we've been beaten to the punch. Oh, where? o.o I'm really bad at nagivating TTV's site, apparently, cause I can't find it. xD I dunno. It showed up on google after searching 'JTO Makuta'.

  21. Can you post some photos from other angles? I can't tell how some things are attached.
  22. Well said. To paraphrase Lhikan, so long as Bionicle remains in our hearts, it hasn't truly died.
  23. Well said. And as to Takanuva getting resurrected, well, no one understands that, and no one ever will. Toa Han I asked Greg and not even he knew.
  24. I don't understand what you mean by that, but that sounds great! I had ruled out the 2016 torsos, as I couldn't find a way to work them in a larger frame. Can you post a picture?
