  1. Another MOC, for another day!! (I'm going to run out soon D:) Name: Rocka FX Description: The final, most powerful form of Rocka. Armed with the best Hero Factory can offer, Energy-negating Holo-shield, Hero-core powered blaster, shoulder-mounted tracking missles and Blade wings for extreme maneuverability in the air, Rocka is ready to defend the Hero Factory against its foes, or go down with it. Comments: Again done back in July 2012. This was only made with pieces coming from Breakout Rocka and Breakout Breez. Except that stand of course (you knew that was a stand right?) I was inspired by Gunpla Action Bases, so I made one out from old parts... And I made his little 'assistant' with the parts left over from the two sets XD More Pictures: Rocka FX's 'little assistant'! Check this out and more on my MOCs blog! (Link is in my siggy below) Thanks for taking a look, it means a lot!
  2. No, haha. It was too much trouble trying to make a suitable rider for my Swamp Speeder; I didn't want to do that again XD If I remember though, I did place a figure on it to try it out (can't remember which one). This. It also (IMO) looks mildly top/side heavy; I felt that some material could have been taken off the sides and top and put in the middle where it really needed it. I also liked the use of the Nuva armor and the swords, through. I would agree that it is top heavy XD; a good thing this bike does not swivel. However as I said, I did try a rider on this bike; making the sides any more 'filled up' would have caused the rider to do the 'splits' as he sits on it, or hinder his sitting on it. I consider that though, just saying... I did accommodate for this by saying it was a prototype...(excuse, excuses XD) Thanks for all your comments, really appreciate it!
  3. Name: Rhotuka Cycle Description: Rhotukas were not always meant for violence. Pioneering minds saw greater potential, potential yet to be tapped on, and developed the Rhotuka Cycle. Being in its prototype stage, the Rhotuka Cycle makes no attempt to look stylish; its great speed and maneuverability, however makes up for it. Comments:As you can see from the date stamp, this was made back in 2012. I started out with the head, and that using of a rhotuka spinner lead to the idea for a bike. Hope you like it, I do! Unfortunately, this bike does not have a swerving function... : / More Pictures: Side View Front View Back View Bottom View Top View Find these and more on my MOCs blog! 4. Nice to see the activity on this thread! I'm actually quite surprised many of you guys don't know about Eurobricks; I thought that forum was like...I dunno, pretty 'official'? So, is BZPower more well known than Eurobricks? And the diversion, really cracked me up XD Good job guys, and nice comic!
  5. I kind of started a topic similar to this, about the starting of a new constraction line in 2015, insinuating the possible return of Bionicle, a few months ago on the Lego discussion section. That, though, seemed to have disappeared with age. So here's the link, for anyone who wants to know more details and follow up on older discussion...
  6. Er, this is completely out of topic, but how did you make your font all caps? Looks cool XD Thanks for all your comments! it's in your settings somewhere. I wish could tell you where that would be getting too off-topic. This is a rather cool looking MOC. Believe or not I had this idea a long time ago, but I never got through to actually making it. Nice job! Thanks for the tip and the comment! This MOC was an old MOC actually; never got around uploading my stuff for people to see until now... (I'll make sure to take a look at the settings...)
  7. To be honest, I used to think that about this forum :X Many of the things I've posted either got told off my a mod/member as not allowed/ against the rules, etc. Many of such rules have been removed/modified for more freedom now, I guess (yay!!). Like "what if" topics: I mean, that's kind of allowed now in the Bionicle Discussions now right? Then again, see how fearful I am just to start this new topic? (See my first line^^^^)
  8. I hope I ain't doing anything wrong by posting this. (spare me, please!!) So, while I was looking at a Eurobrick discussion thread, I noticed several people over there with similar names and avatars as some people here, which led me to believe they are the same people. I'm correct, right? (Please tell me I am; my deduction skills can't be that bad, right?) Anyway, as a person who solely sticks to BZPower, I've noticed the activity over at Eurobricks is much more than here on BZPower. (Or am I making a mistake here?) I myself however have been sticking to BZPower since it's the first Bionicle forum I know, and I'm too lazy to go over there. (gee, I'm a loyalist in a lazy way) And also because, I assume, they are targeted mostly for Lego in general. I don't know much about the history behind the two forums, or which one came first, but which of the two do you prefer over the other? And why? Is there a compelling reason for me to sign up at Eurobricks if I'm solely into Action Figures only? Why do you still come on to BZPower if you're at Eurobricks? Lemme hear the thoughtssssss.
  9. Er, this is completely out of topic, but how did you make your font all caps? Looks cool XD Thanks for all your comments!
  10. One MOC a day, keeps....evil at bay?? Name: Furno 1.5 Description: What do you get when you combine Furno with Furno 2.0? Well...Furno 1.5 of course! Armed with a core-powered flame shield-shooter, a power knuckle and two back mounted claws, this powered-up version of Furno is the new poster-boy for Hero Factory! (heh) Comments: I did this back in 2011 when the new building system (aka HF 2.0) came out. I liked the limbs. I didn't like the hollow back. So I took them and attached them onto the Orignal Furno. Then some more. Tada~~ (lols) More pictures: Knuckle-claw for Haz-Mat Extraction! Or just to look cool.
  11. Haha, cute and design wise, very nice Good work!
  12. Personally, I think Nuparu still looks sleek to me XD Can't really see the silver Metru-chest piece attached to his back, so that kind of negates the bulkiness you were giving him there. Well, that's a photo-lighting issue I guess; it should be more obvious in real-life. The design's kind of growing on me though, nice work
  13. As stated before, the tranformation wasn't really thought out; I just found it out XD. After that came the task of actually accommodating the two modes together, so yeah, I tried to make it as smooth as possible Well, its mostly just flipping the horn all the way up and splitting the 'beetle-bottom' to the front.... Thanks for your comments!
  14. Aah, now that you said it....whoops? Yeah, it's kind of bulky in a way...was figuring how to get it to stand on its own, if I can remember... Er, I don't think I'll have enough pieces to do the rest of the figure if that alone is the torso, haha. Thanks for replying anyway!
  15. I wouldn't call them evil; I'd call them lego for poor people (like me)
  16. Another entry from my MOCs blog! Name: Beetle- Scorpion Description: Just a mech- beetle that tranforms into a scorpion... Comments: Again, made this wayyy back, probably in 2010... Started with the horn first, and that sparked off an idea for a beetle. Since I do have limited pieces, the 'feet' (if that's what you want to call it) are in different colours, but they are supposed to be the same, really. The scorpion came after that, when I realised I could bend the head all the way back Added on the Rakshi blades for the scorpion claws. Kinda reminds you of Zoids right? (I don't know haha) More Pictures: (sorry, most of them are blurry; rather shaky hands : /) Top View Back View Side View Scorpion Mode Scorpion Mode: Side View Scorpion Mode: Back View The Underbelly (gasps!) Please do visit my blog to see other MOCs. There are currently only two, but I'll be adding more as the days go by. Of course I will add them here as well
  17. Since I am finally starting on my MOCs blog (after years of just having that idea in my head ), might as well place some entries here to get more publicity, haha Name: Swamp Strider Description: A one-man vehicle used to travel rapidly across marsh-land. Features twin blade-arms that fold out to meet any possible assault Comments: Made this waaaay back in I can't remember when, haha (probably even before the advent of HF!!! ). Probably my first serious MOC; I intended to use as many pieces to create an awesome, complex vehicle. If you haven't noticed, two Bohrok head and bodies were used for the blade arms, allowing for some cool functions... More Pictures: (sorry, most of them are blurry; rather shaky hands : /) The Rider Front View Side view Back View Top View There are currently only two MOCs there, but I'll be adding in the rest gradually. Of course, I will post them here, but I hope you may pay a visit there Thank you so much in advance!
  18. So there has been a recent explosion of Knockoff Lego sets, especially by a China company, Decool. I just had a thought: Is the new Ball-and-Socket building system easier to imitate as compared to the old pin-and-axle system? It would be easier to get the ball socket right, as compared to pin and axle holes, as they can either be too tight ot too loose. Set designs too have gone down in intrinsicity, such that pieces are easier to imitate. Is this why such knockoffs have improved in overall quality and appearance? What do you think?
  19. For my favourite part, please see my Pic and Sig. Lol
  20. Just got a Furno XR on Saturday. It's by Xinh, but since the "Hero Star Soldier" thing is there, i think its from Decool under a different name. Maybe Decool finally got sued?
  21. Those look awesome! It's great to see that Decool has gotten *ahem* creative, and *ahem* original. Now we can make the IFB Heroes with eyes! Great review btw, and nice purple MOC at the end!
  22. Apparently older kits tend to be of lower quality; I think Decool perked up its quality only quite recently... You can bet they wont stop ripping off Lego as long as they can; it won't be long before you'll find IFB sets XD
  23. Hmm, there's no relation between Lego and Decool, but Decool's just ripping off of Lego, that's as far as I know. Don't think it's legal, but if there're sets that have rather decent quality, and with a (very) much cheaper price, I'm not complaining, LOL.
  24. Got a untouched Black Phantom with me, haven't decide to open it yet too, but the best way to not open a set is to forget about it, and the best way to do that is to place it in the most hard-to-reach place and start diverting your attention to something else, like new sets, or mocing. And, if the gold Ignika's all you are after, I'd follow the advice above and go to BrickLink... Or if you dont mind not selling it, go ahead and open it, haha. If you want to know what roughly is in stall for you when you open the box, you can read my review in the Bionicle Sets Discussion section of the knockoff version of TMN...
