  1. Actually, they're made of plastic, and are disposable utensils. I kept them because, as a gunpla fan, who doesn't like 'Chrome'? XD Got me fooled too, when I first saw them. XD
  2. Name: Burt Ballad's Musomech Description: This mech's really used as a last resort, with an emphasis on the last. The Mech's so destructive and terrifying, the damage done by it overrides the help it gives. But just the appearance of it scares aliens away; you'll see why. Comments: This was made during the time of the Save the Alien Hunters Contest on BZPower back in December 2013. After creating the Canomech for Zia Zeal, I decided to create a mech for each of the Alien Hunters; that never came into fruition after this mech. XD Design wise, I tried to use some of the elements used in the Canomech, such as the rahkshi back and the axle antenna (and of course the same minifig XD). I had been trying to get the hands right, hope I did it :X More Pictures: (Look from another angle) Back View RAWRRRRRRR *Summoning weapons* "It's alien CHOW time!!!!!!!!"
  3. Haha, mine was Gahlok-va. My parents' first impression of it: "...that's it?!" Whoops, sorry didn't see your post before I posted mine XD
  4. Straight of the bat, I will admit that I really miss the old Bionicle Building (Pin & Axle) system. I'm not too big a fan of the Ball & Socket System; HF Sets tend to have a different, less awe-striking feel for me. And I prefer the building experience the P&A gave, rather than that of B&S... I really hope Lego, if possible, can incorporate both. I may post up my ideas in this thread if I get the time to draw it out, but I think this would open up more possibilities for set building and MOCers alike... So, Do you think Lego will bring back the old P&A? Or will the B&S System wholly and permanently replace it? Would you want back the old P&A?
  5. That's one angry *cough*Mixel*cough*. Just kidding XD Great job on the MOC, I'd like to comment more, but I'm out of time!
  6. Awesome MOC!!!!!!! 8D I like how you maintained the sleekness throughout the MOC, and how you used Breez's helm/mask (which is it?! I just realised I don't know!! O_o) to that same effect. The colour scheme too, is really consistent, and the addition of the blades doesn't clash with the main figure's colour scheme, but in fact bring out more character The build of the figure too, is really great, but the Flikr photo of the elbow shows that that area seems a little too thin... Overall, really good job!
  7. I'M BACK! And without further ado, I present to you, my entry for BBC #68 , and the July Flikr Contest!!!!! ... Wait, what? They're over already? Name: Sinanju Stein Wing-X Description: Before the Sinanju was stolen, developers stumbled upon rather strange and foreign blueprints, one detailing a mysterious transforming mobile suit, while the other of a lunar-powered cannon-wielding mobile suit . Realising that incorporating the designs from the blueprints would greatly increase the mobility and power of the Sinanju, the developers set off to design a variation of the still two-eyed, gray-coloured behemoth. Comments: This was made back in December 2013. I just wanted to make a MOC with Gundam colours. And I kind of failed. XD So I completely ditched the idea of adding any more blue into the MOC, and just stuck with more red. I quite like the Wing Mode, but only at certain angles XD A direct side-view exposes the gap below the 'cockpit'. But it kind of looks like a mix of the Wing's bird-form and the Strike's Skygrasper... I've tried to make the Wing Mode look as un-mobile suitish as possible, so hope I accomplished that! XD Oh, and erm about the name. I just threw in everything that struck me when I thought about the features of the suit. Since I can't get a V-fin, why not make it a Sinanju Stein? XD Yes, sooooo convinient More Pictures: 3/4 Front 3/4 Back Back View Back View: Wings Out Wing Mode: Side View: (Eww! >w<) Bottom View: (Eww...?) 8. first MOC i see using that petal piece...i can't make out the head, but this seems to be a really big MOC :X
  9. Wow...thats one hulk of plastic XD I like how the wings are connected. There's some inter-connected movement?
  10. I like those fists, and I really wish I have the parts to make it >.< Really like how this was put together, it looks like a real gunpla XD My only gripe is how fat the thighs are as compared to the feet, seems kind of awkward to me...
  11. I like how the leg, unlike many of the gundam-inspired entries now, do not resemble that of Exia, but remind me more of Tall-geese. I also like how the head-sculpt looks, especially the chin section. Those holes that make ou the eyes too are ingenious to me Those v-fins/ cow horns, however...(no one has seemed to gotten them right XD Tough to do that, I know) Good work!
  12. Erm, the gallery's not yet public :/ mind if you place them here directly, or put them on flickr? :X
  13. First impressions: The gap in between the 'head' and cockpit is a bit too attention grabbing. Besides that, the overall colour scheme of this MOC is good, the gray and brown blend well to give the impression of a ancient and 'stony' mech. I like the looks of how the shoulder/arm was constructed, though I am interested to see the articulation of it. I also like how the feet is like an extension of the bohrok feet. The mech kind of reminds me of Krekka, most probably due to his weapon and the stance of it XD Anyway, you might wish to add more bulk into the mech. The arms and legs look quite sleek
  14. Hi, I've no idea where to place this topic, so I hope I've got the right place Anyway, I've been posting my MOCs online as I've been delving into Lego Digital Designer, which most of you know is a program which allows you to build virtual Lego sets. For someone like me who suffers from a lack of parts to work with, LDD is a welcomed program from Lego. There's no limit to how many pieces you can use. There's little limit to what colour of piece you want. So here's a thing to discuss: Do you prefer LDD over physical MOCing? Why? Is there anyone who has placed down their Lego pieces and wholly use LDD for building? For me, LDD has taken up my MOCing time for now. The frustration in first learning how to use LDD, and then later in using it can be quite prominent at times ("Why can't this piece fit in here? LDD, WORK YOU"). And there's another problem: missing pieces. Many pieces such many old Bionicle Pieces are not present in LDD. I know LDD caters for parts that are still in production, but even newer HF parts, Furno XL's cloak is missing D: Finally, there's also the joy of actually fitting the Lego Bricks together BY HAND. Sure, LDD has some nice sound effects when you're selecting or fitting pieces together, but the satisfaction of actually building something by hand, and getting to hold/play it in the end, cannot be reproduced by LDD (since the service is disrupted). Here are my thoughts, now lemme hear yours! : D
  15. I like the head sculpt, especially how the back end of the head was made. It's reminiscent of many alien designs The neck joint, however, seems kind of awkward as I assume there is a slight lack of motion (looking down). Why not stick with gold armour for the back? That'd flow with the front armour (though I believe there isn't a gold rakshi back piece, is there?). How naming it after your Display name? (I want a cookie!)
  16. Did someone say Heavyarms? I was considering doing a Gundam or something, but after seeing this, I now am happy I decided to just maybe make one as a MoC, and not a contest entry. Hm, I guess I could do a Heavyarms rather than Deathscythe... I do have an idea on how to make his gun now, after all... Thanks! Here's a suggestion: Full Armour Unicorn Gundam! : D
  17. Now that you said it, yeah...I didn't noticed that myself XD Most of my sets make up my MOCing parts, so I don't really have much to work with, seeing how the joints post-2005 have a chance of breaking each time you take them apart. I'd want to 'preserve' my post-2005 sets, so seeing even a crack in one of their joints gets me kind of upset >: But I do take the occasional weapon/part from post-2005 sets to use sometimes, though I'd make sure they won't break anything when they are placed back :X I've only had two toa nuva, a bohrok-kal, and a bohrok-va, so I don't really know much about the combiners then...The first time I actually placed together a combiner was with the Toa Hordika XD. Thank you both for your comments! I really appreciate it : D
  18. I came here from your Rotan post, and after seeing your sig, I knew I must come here XD Why take away the Cordak missles? Leave them in there; they'd not only fit in with the red from the Cordak's back, but it'd look more 'Heavy-Arms' (gundam wing fans, out there!!) If Stormer 'built' this in IFB, I think he'd need no other heroes to help him, LOL Then again, the feet (as with Rotan's feet); but I guess it is your building style/ preference?
  19. In Malay (not that I am), Rotan means cane XD Yup, definitely scared of this guy XD. On a mroe serious note, as the others have said, the trans-blue look grrrreeeat! The feet on the other hand, seem a little too thin to fit in with the calf area (when looking from the side). Nice MOC, really like the trans-blue (I must say this again, because I really like it >.<)
  20. I initially didn't created him as Rocka, but a "slash-happy" hero whom HF sends to do the 'not-so-pleasant' jobs/ (See my comments above). I gave him orange eyes to that effect, but after a while decided to switch back to Rocka's original eyes (and snapped the orange head's socket in the proces T.T) I did keep in mind the colour scheme to make sure that it at least blended in. One piece in a colour would at least have another body part with the same colour; same with what they did for Breakout Breez, who had 3 main colours... I did designed him in such a way his BL attachments worked something like that of the AGE Gundam; swapping the arms and legs equated to another form. Hence, the main torso is mostly still Breakout Rocka, while the arms, feet, and back were different. XD I guess I saw the red fitting in with that of the blades. From the accompanying pictures (I've taken apart the MOC for over a year now XD), I guess it'd seem out of place...The white tough, I guess accompanies the forearms and the hero core :X Thank you all for your comments! >.<
  21. X thank you for your comment! First one after quite a while. XD I named this guy due to his bulk, so yeah Behemoth. Didn't occur to me that'd be a sea creature XD
  22. Can you see me squinting with my pixelated eye? O.=
  23. I like the third picture (the side view of the head) where the eye piece colour seems the come out gray; now wouldn't that make for a cool eye colour I like the rakshi shoulder armour (always wanted to do that, but I'm not daring enough to ply off the upper shoulders off my Glatorians ) and I like the tubing detail showing through the Chest piece. The lower arms seem kind of hollow and awkward from the front though... :X
  24. Ahaha XD I can see that when you said it (the 'belly'). I was concentrating on the head looking down, but then again, that isn't really his belly XD About the gears, I had been debating with myself whether I should have them on the outer or the inner side of the leg, but after trying both out, I decided that the latter looks better... I suffer from a lack of parts, so it's kind of tough for me not to do without empty sockets...Hands-wise, those are actually his, well, hands. Due to this reason, I have found my style to be using many socket pieces in my MOCs XD. They make things look kind of complicated, but then again, not very polished Thank you for your comments!!!!
