IC: Hakari - The Charred Forest - "These two are Kanohi and Lapu." Hakari gestured to each one as she named them. "They don't really get along well with their vocal cords, but they can communicate other ways!" Hakari said with some enthusiasm, giving a thumbs up. "And I'm Hakari, a Lesterin of Plantlife. Thank you for the directions by the way, they're most helpful!" Hakari was speaking kind of fast, as much as she liked her companions, she hadn't realized how much she missed talking with someone who could talk with their voice, it was making her excited. "I'm sure Ta-koro is a nice place, but I don't think the heat agrees with me or my friends much. Especially after nearly getting cooked in a wildfire!" OOC: Ah gotcha, I can work with that. IC: Skyra Daring - Po-koro - "A Muaka? Aren't all big cats basically the same?" While I had thought I'd seen one of these Rock lions before, perhaps I had mistaken it for a Muaka? While I was well versed in my birds perhaps my knowledge of other rahi was lacking. "Don't actually answer that." I looked over the big lion so more before I began to frown. "You know...I'm not sure I've ever seen a rahi like this before now that I'm getting a real good look...pretty unique creature."

IC: Skyra Daring "Hmmm, right." I stopped in my tracks as Lumune warned me, I simply stood there and stared back at the rock lion, who was performing a little light show with it's mane. While I could now confirm I'd seen said Rahi before somewhere in the Le-Wahi jungles, this was by far the closest I'd been to one. "Big kitty."

IC: Hakari - The Charred Forest - "Hmm?" As Lapu tugged on the rope, the Lesterin's attention was drawn to the figures up ahead. Hakari strained her vision to get a better look, but she found it was easier just to get closer. So she did. As she approached them she smiled and waved. "Hello there!" Being the only one of her group that seemed capable of speaking currently she figured it fell to her to speak out. IC: Skyra Daring "There's a few things I have to worry about besides that." Like Makuta's return and all. That was kind of concerning. "But not too much I guess."

It was true the young Skadki seemed ready to explode if she didn't get into a fight soon, of course that was just the sort of thing that Zanakra wanted to see in her subordinates. IC: Skyra Daring "Yeah, it's pretty handy for that sort of thing, I-" A sudden throb on the left side of my head interrupted me as I winced and rubbed it with my fingers. I briefly thought of taking the pain meds Dorian had given me, but I decided against it for now. It wasn't that painful yet. "...I do have to watch for low ceilings though, didn't have to do that as a Matoran that's for sure."

IC: Zanakra - Tahtorak Encampment - Spineless Bay - Zanakra grinned at the question, she couldn't help herself. "Oh, it's hard to put a number on it, a lot of blood paved the way for my fort's construction, and I'm sure there will be much more blood spilt before my conquest is over." She wouldn't stop till she was satisfied after all, and who knew when that would be? Till the entire island was hers? Would that even be enough? How many more islands were out there anyway? IC: Skyra Daring - Po-koro - Hmmm...when did I become a Toa again? "I wasn't always a Toa, but it feels like a lifetime ago since I became one." It sort of happened out of the blue one day when I was just doing Gukko Force stuff. "I don't know if it really was destiny or just a happy accident, but either way the life of a Toa suits me just fine." @ARROW404

IC: Skyra Daring - Po-koro - I ended up climbing to the top after all. Between my natural affinity for climbing and my grapple it was more than manageable. I surveyed Po-koro from the top of the boulder before nodding in satisfaction and pulling out a knife as I scratched something into the rock. Beat you here, loser. - Sky. There, that would cover pretty much any of my friends if they ever decided to make the climb as well. I glanced down as I spotted Lumune far down below...oh right I was suppose to be going to see her lion...whoops. With that I leaped off the rock. As I fell I quickly used my elemental powers to create a gust of wind strong enough to slow my fall, and once my feet hit the ground I did a quick roll before jumping back up to my feet in front of Lumune. "Sorry about that, got a bit distracted. Let's go!" @ARROW404

IC: Zanakra - Tahtorak Encampment - Spineless Bay - So they were currently leaderless huh? Zanakra grinned, this was all too easy. As much as she loved a good fight, it seemed like it would be all too easy to sway them to her cause. Sometimes a battle of words could be thrilling as well. "How unfortunate that your leader is no longer with us." Actually it was fantastic. "It is a good thing I arrived when I did then, I am Zanakra, Warlord of the Spineless Bay." She the pointed towards the direction of Fort Razorfish;Vaa. "The impressive fort, Fort Razorfish;Vaa, I'm sure you've seen it, belongs to me." She paused for a moment to let the information sink in. "Since you find yourselves leaderless, and you happen to have settled in my territory. I have a...proposition for you." She grinned, she couldn't help it. "Join me, and I will give you the resources and manpower to turn this little...ramshackle of yours into something impressive. A mighty outpost of Fort Razorfish;Vaa if you will. OOC: Yeah, the player of said character was banned. IC: Hakari - The Charred Forest - Hakari noticed Kanohi's distress as well, but as she watched Lapu place a hand on the Matoran's head she knew the Toa had everything handled. It was also cute! She gave a thumbs up and smiled before taking the end of the rope offered to her, humming to herself as she did. She was perfectly happy for Kanohi to continue to lead the way, especially since she had no idea where she even was! @ARROW404 @Harvali

IC: Skyra Daring - Po-koro - "Yep, her name is Destiny, and we fly together practically every day..." I said as I looked up at Po-koro's iconic boulder, starting to wonder myself what it would be like to stand on top of it myself... ...well, there was only one way to find out. "One second, I need to try something..." Before Lumune could so much as question what I was talking about I had bolted into a sprint as I got closer to the gate I jumped, using a tiny bit of my elemental power to boost myself. Then I raised my right arm and fired the grapple attached to it, it was time to see what this baby could do. The grapple successfully hooked to the top of the gate, the force of the cable as it started to reel back into the device took me by surprised as I found myself being pulled up rapidly. "Woah!" I pulled myself up the rest of the way onto the top of the gate as I reached it, standing up as I looked up towards the stone spires still above me. "Wow that's still pretty high up even from here. Probably not gonna be able to get up there from here, even with this grapple..." Not to say I wouldn't be willing to give it a shot anyway, what's the worst that could happen? @ARROW404

IC: Hakari - The Charred Forest - Hakari looked at the endless amount of charred trees with curiosity. Unlike the noise of life that you heard in Le-Wahi's jungles, it was much quieter here. Every footstep they took was much louder and more noticeable. "A bit eerie, isn't it?" @ARROW404 @Harvali

IC: Skyra Daring - Po-koro - "Ah." Sometimes I forgot how much denser life was in Le-Wahi compared to most other regions on Mata Nui. I'd lived in Le-koro for most of my life so I supposed I was simply used to it. "Le-Wahi is quite a bit different than here, that's for sure. Po-Wahi is hot and open, while Le-Wahi is hot and densely packed with life. Only way to get a good view of the sky in Le-Wahi is to fly above the trees to be honest." @ARROW404

IC: Skyra Daring - Po-koro - I stopped playing with my wrist grapple as Lumune introduced herself. "No problem. I'm Skyra Daring, Toa of Air." I stretched my limbs a bit, I suppose I had been standing at that counter for a bit. "Well I'm ready to see this big kitty! It's a shame I don't have my Kahu with me, but she's all the way in Ostia right now." While it was possible to try and summon her with my flute, I didn't really want to make Destiny fly all the way there for no particular reason. @ARROW404

IC: Zanakra - Fort Razorfish;Vaa - Spineless Bay - Zanakra smirked at the banter between Sohmak and Jojax. She approved of rivalries between her underlings, kept them sharp. But for the moment they needed to focus. "Alright you rats, let's move out, we've wasted enough time here." By her command they set out into the bay towards the camp. Soon enough Tahtorak Outpost was visible, and they would be visible to the residents of the outpost as well. Zanakra stood in the front of the scouting ship, looking as imposing as possible. "Who's in charge here? I have things to discuss with them." She shouted as they got within hearing range, Cordak Blaster on her side, shrapnel gun on her other, and hammer strapped to her back. IC: Oceanna Gallywix - Onu-koro - ??? - Her eyes watered as she struggled to see again, slowly but surely her vision was coming back. She forced herself to look towards where the fugitives were, judging by the amount of noise they were making. Yes, there they were. Her grip on her Rahkshi staff tighten a bit. Eying the Vortixx, Oceanna flew down towards him at high speed, betting on the fact that he would neither heard nor see her coming from above, as they had seemed to forgotten her the moment they had blinded her. As she closed the distance she grabbed her staff with both hands and swung it at his head, intending to knock him down. OOC: @Palm @Void Emissary @ARROW404

IC: Skyra Daring - Tech Emporium - Po-koro - "Sure thing Dehkaz, I'll catch up with you and the others later." I said with a wave as the other Toa left. I paid for my pistols and acquired the wrist grapple that Dehkaz had bought for me. "Alright Farzan, just let me know whenever you're ready to have me test those prototypes. I'll be uh, wherever the Fowadi is probably..." Come to think of it, I had no Idea where I'd be or how he'd get into contact with me once it was ready...well I was sure he'd figure out something. "...anyway bye!" As I headed for the door I glanced at the Matoran trapper...what was her name again? Hmmm, she never said come to think of it. "I'll be just outside. Once you're done here just come get me and we'll go see your lion." With that I headed out, putting the wrist grapple on as I did. I was kind of eager to try it out, I'd seen some members of the Gukko Force pull off some pretty fancy stunts with these, made me wonder what I could pull off with it. @Geardirector @sunflower @ARROW404

IC: Hakari - To Ta-Wahi - Hakari paid close attention to Kanohi's teachings of morse code as they walked towards Ta-Wahi. She honestly found it impressive how the Matoran had come up with a whole way of communicating without even speaking, he was far smarter than she was, or at least she thought so. IC: Skyra Daring - Tech Emporium - Po-koro - “Sure, I’ll check out your lion.” I said as I looked at Farzan. Let’s see, I was getting a wrist grapple, curtesy of Dehkaz, two diskette pistols that I’d placed on the counter and was buying myself, and then I’d be coming back at some point to test out some sort of prototype weapon and get one for free for my trouble. Yup sounded right. “Once I’ve got my new stuff I’m ready to go.” I said as I took out the widgets to pay for the pistols. Oh! IC: Hakari - Le-Wahi - Heading towards Ta-Wahi - Hakari followed Kanohi and Lapu silently. Dealing with the fire had subdued her chattiness, plus it was hard to keep a conversation when you were the only one who could actually speak. It had been so long since Hakari had left Le-Wahi, she didn't know much about Ta-Wahi but she understood it was much hotter than even the jungle. She wondered how different it would be.
