  1. IC: (Kadon) I considered leaving him there. After all, he could be lying. However, he hadn't left me to rot when I was 'unconscious,' and the least I could do was make sure he made it to the village. I climbed down from my perch, picking up his Morning Star with one hand and leading him with the other. "Le-Koro's this way. There should be medics there."

  2. IC: (Kadon) "It would help if you turned around," I said, shamelessly lying through my teeth. Watching Drome staggering around was actually quite fun. And I was definetely getting payback for that little comment about my coloration.

  3. IC: (Kadon) I backed up, keeping myself partially under cover, but able to see him. I didn't trust Drome. There was nothing in this world to prevent him from pretending to be knocked out except being knocked out. I climbed a nearby tree, watching him. If he didn't move after somewhere around 15 minutes, then it'd be safe to assume that he was really out of it.

  4. IC: (Kadon) I laughed, floating above my prone form. Ah, how could he not realize what he had just said? Then, Drome turned around. This was my chance. I deactivated my mask, reentering my body. As quietly as I could, I stood up, gripping a sickle horizontally with both hands. I sent the haft speeding down toward his head, hoping to knock him out cold.

  5. IC: (Kadon) I floated along, listening to Drome insult someone he thought was out cold. I smiled to myself. Even though he couldn't hear me, I said, "Sickening colors? Oh, I am so going to get you for that. And you're certainly one to talk, my spiky adversary."

  6. IC: (Tellus) Tellus noticed the Cap'n, First Mate, and Navagator looking through a spyglass at something. He spent a moment wondering what they were looking at, then shrugged. Being idle and doind nothing his first day on the job wouldn't be good. Tellus strode below decks, inspecting the ship carefully. He used his elemental power to seal any cracks he found, and kept an eye out for any signs of weak points. He found nothing major, and was impressed. For a man with no crew, the Cap'n kept a tidy ship.

  7. IC: (Kadon) I let him drag my body. Eventually, he'd get tired, and not be paying attention to me. Of course, why would he? Usually, people groan and moan and wonder out loud where they are when they come to. But I wasn't unconscious, and he'd find that out the hard way. For a second, I considered re-entering my body and zapping him. But that would place me at a disadvantage. I winced as I watched him drag me across the forest floor, wondering how many new bruises I was going to find later.

  8. IC: (Kadon) Drome's kick connected and I went down. Suddenly, an idea struck me. Chances were, Drome's view had been blocked by his legs when he kicked. So, he should have no idea where he hit me. I activated my mask, and I stared at my limp form on the ground. I looked completely knocked out. My plan was simple: Look knocked out, and, once his guard was down, I'd strike.

  9. IC: (Kadon) I stepped back, allowing the mace to pass me. "If that's the way you want to do things, so be it." Quickly, I stepped forward once more, swinging my sickles at Drome's legs and abdomen. Let's see what these 'toys' can do...

  10. IC: (Kadon) I laughed. "Toys they may be, but they're better than that chunk of metal on a stick you've got. How long do you think it took the blacksmith to make that thing you call a weapon? Five seconds, maybe?" I decided to let him have a small taste of my power. I sent a small jolt of electricity his way. It wouldn't injure Drome, but it wouldn't feel great either.

  11. IC: (Kadon) The only thing that saved me was keeping that vague signal that I could sense from Drome's body at the forefront of my mind. Suddenly, it got clearer, and clearer, closer and closer.. I dove the the side, barely avoiding the Morning Star that crashed to the forest floor beside me. Curses! He'd been in the tree! I sprung to my feet, my sickles in my hands. They crackled with eletricity as I sent some of my elemental power coursing through them. I smiled. Drome's slow, clumsy mace would be no match for the dual sickles.

  12. IC: (Kadon) As quietly as I could, I walked through the jungle. Drome had to be in here somewhere. Faintly, I could sense the electricity coursing through his body, but I didn't bother pinpointing it. I would find him eventually. Drome, I reflected silently, was much like me. And we both grated on each other.I knew that I would stick out. Bright blue and lime green aren't exactly ideal colors for camoflague, but it was better than orange and teal, Drome's colors.. I considered using my Iden to scout ahead, but decided against it. Leaving my body unguarded would most likely be a mistake. Unknowingly, I walked right beneath him, for I, like most people, never thought of looking up.

  13. IC: (Tellus) "Aye, they can be useful. Being a Toa o' Plantlife, I'm somewhat tuned into plants. Even dead 'uns. For example, I could grow a tree on yore deck if I wanted, but it'd use up me energy for now. And I'll want to inspect the ship more closely once I'm aboard. I did a rather quick going-over, to save up energy for a more detailed inspection."

  14. IC: (Tellus) Tellus walked up to the ship, laying a hand on her hull. He walked the length on the ship, running his hand up and down, using his power to probe the the ship for any rotten wood and especially weak points. He finished, turning to the Cap'n and grinning. "She's a fine ship, sir. Sturdy and without a rotten plank anywhere in 'er."

  15. IC: (Tellus) "Aye, this hat's been up the creek and o'r the mountain a time or two. First thing I'm doin' with my share o' the loot is gettin' her repaired." He grinned. "I've become a little attacted to her. So, yore Yasurek? Pleasure to meet ya."

  16. IC: (Cadias) "Yes! Exactly! You are THE Navayak. And because you are The Navayak, you weren't fooled when I told you I wasn't King of the Moon." For some odd reason, the title had grown on him. IC: (Aurix) Aurix watched as Navayak realized he was The Navayak, and briefly wondered what he was. Nothing, for now, he decided. But after Navayak had trained him to be his Deacon, Aurix was certain he'd become something.

  17. IC: (Cadias) Cadias, noting Navayak's lack of his usual... cheerfulness, walked over to Navayak. Seriously, he leaned over and whispered, as though telling a secret, "I'm not King of the Moon, you know."

  18. IC: (Tellus) Tellus held out his hand to Yasurek. "I'm Tellus. Ship's carpenter an' proud owner o' this hat," he said, tapping his worn tricorne. "Beyond that an' me cutlass, I don't 'ave much as of now. 'Opefully, though, that'll change before too long."

  19. IC: (Cadias) Cadias didn't enjoy Navayak being stumped as much as Vrana. After all, Navayak might grow frustrated, and angry, frustrated, insane people could be dangerous. Very, very dangerous. "Well, you're a Representative of the Great Elder Ones, and that has to be something important. Even more important than King of the Moon, perhaps."
