  1. IC: (Tellus) Tellus heard a Skakdi behind him talking to a Toa. He could talk if he wanted to, but he didn't particularly feel like chatting. His nervousness had faded to impatience, and he wondered why it was taking so long. Really, it should only be a matter of listing one's skills and maybe requesting a certain position. Perhaps a couple of questions. But it really shouldn't take so long, should it? He sighed, shifted slightly, and made sure the battered tricorne wasn't sitting on his head at an angle. First impressions, even with pirates, counted.

  2. IC: (Cadias) Cadias also comtemplated the thought. "And they don't have to answer to any codes of honor, like the Toa Code. That might be a definete advantage. After all, the Toa Code commands that you avoid killing as much as possible. That also means that you'll have a lot more living enemies. Of course, you might make more enemies by killing than if you didn't kill at all. Family and friends might be interested in revenge."

  3. IC:(Cadias) Cadias thought for a moment. "Not necessarily. A large part of Mata-Nui's power is sheer weight of numbers. But if said Makuta followers were to train, to be good with their weapons and smart, they'd be formidable adversaries."

  4. IC: (Cadias) "Yes, I have. I suppose that Mata-Nui is weakening and can't do much, but it's really his fault anyway if he can't defeat Makuta. Either he's been outwittted or Makuta is just more powerful." IC: (Aurix) Aurix had found Ga-Koro and had walked to the center of the village, smiling and greeting everyone he met. He walked up to a random hut, sat down beside it, and began to pull carvings from his backpack, most of which were meant to be worn on a necklace. He also pulled out a sign, which read Aurix's Carved Goods, and stuck it to the wall of the hut above his head.

  5. IC: (Cadias) "Yes, I do. If only I knew why." IC: (Tellus) The Toa of the Green stood stood inside the Black Spot Inn, squinting at a sign that read, Crew WantedPrevious sailing experience helpful but not essentialFighting, stealing, drinking involvedWater/Air elemental powers particularly welcomeApply in The Black Spot Inn, Ga-Koro It took Tellus almost 30 seconds to read the poster, and he stood, slightly embarrassed. "Haven't had to read in a while.." he muttered to no one in particular.Making sure his old tricorne was still on his head, and that his cutlass was still at his side, he took a deep breath and walked up to the bartender."Do ye know where the man lookin' for a crew be?" In response, the bartender pointed to the back room.Tellus entered the room. Seeing the line, he moved to the back, nervous. A line? Maybe the position of ship's carpenter had been taken.

  6. IC: (Cadia) "I get the feeling that they don't trust me just because of the color of my armor," Cadias chimed in. "Anyone wearing dark colors who aren't Earth Toa just have to be evil or something."

  7. IC: (Cadias) "Ahh.. no thanks. I prefer not to poison myself. And believe me, if past experience is an indication of the future, then I'll end up poisoning myself, probably inadvertently."

  8. OOC: You'll never know how much I admire you for being able to channel the crazy and stay on topic. The closest I've come to insanity is a caffine rush, which makes me unable to focus on anything for more than 15.2 seconds. :P IC: (Cadias) Cadias ignored the fact there was no chair and start down anyway, stifling groans. He took back his earlier thoughts on Makuta. Cadias was pretty certain that when Makuta got something under control, it stayed under control. IC: (Aurix) Aurix paused for a second. Something was bugging him. After a few seconds of concentration, Aurix touched on what it was. He was completely alone, miles from any help, with the ocean on one side and a dense jungle on the other. The only defense he had was a small dagger and a wooden staff. For all he knew, any second pirates could sail up, or bandits attack, or Rahi could swarm him and kill him in minutes.Aurix shrugged and continued walking, the ever-present smile still beaming from his face. OOC: It's kind of fun to have an insane character. And I see Cadias retains his senstive stomach. Good luck on the drawing, and good night.I'm not hitting the sack quite yet, though.

  9. IC: (Cadias) If Vrana was looking closely at Cadias, he would have seen the dark orange take on a slight shade of green. He gulped. "I think I need to sit down." OOC: And enter... the insanity!... Ok, he isn't extremely insane. I just can't channel Navayak's kind of insanity without loosing control. Makes you wonder how Xaeraz does it. :P IC: (Aurix, from Ta-Wahi) Aurix walked across the beach, a smile on his face. The air here was refreshing and cool, and the sea breezes pleasant. Absently, he wondered why the Voices warned him away from Ga-Wahi. Staying away from the sea made sense, because swimming wasn't his strong point, but it was so nice here. Surely his carvings would sell well, and maybe he'd find someone else that could hear the Voices. After all, he couldn't be the only one, could he?The Matoran wandered down the beach to Ga-Koro, still smiling. OOC: Oh, Xaeraz. You have no idea how awesome Navayak is to me. Kind of reminds me of the time I spoke in a false Scottish accent and everyone was totally amazed. Accurate accent impressions aren't all that great. :P (True story, btw..)Besides, you pull off insanity so well! Aurix generally has rational thoughts mixed in with craziness. 'Surely his carvings would sell well,' mixed with 'maybe he'd find someone else who can hear the Voices.' Navayak is much more consistent than that. @ Dark: Cadias doesn't really have any special features besides those listed in his profile, which are brief. Feel free to use a bit of imagination with him. I eagerly await your masterpiece!

  10. IC: (Cadias) "I second that! Er.... is flying... turbulent?" OOC: Indeed. But something interesting might happen. Navayak might actually convert someome! :P I think that sounds absolutely awesome! l be able to do a little work in Photoshop to get something for my avatar, too.. Not a lot, though. I'm terrible at art and not very skilled in Photoshop either. Ah well, such is life. :P

  11. IC: (Cadias) Cadias had just won the battle against his gut, but was still putting up with minor rebellions. So, this is what Makuta must feel like. Except I doubt he gets sick to his stomach. "Where do you think we should go, then? Maybe to the village, to stock up on supplies?" Cadias didn't dare say food. He didn't want to give his gut any more ideas. OOC: Well, my crazy character is all ready. Although I doubt he can reach Navayak's level of awesomeness. :P

  12. IC: (Aurix) The Matoran stood on the beach, looking around, a smile on his face. He was leaving. Business wasn't good any more in Ta-Koro, and the Voices no longer told him to avoid Ga-Koro. They had for a long time, and warned him to stay away from the sea, too. The Voices still told him not to travel by sea, and Aurix knew the Voices never lied. With the smile still on his face and his few belongings in a backpack on his back, the Matoran set out along the beach, toward Ga-Wahi. OOC: Aurix to Ga-Wahi.

  13. IC: (Cadias) Cadias, nearly bent double, heard what Vrana was saying. "He's right! That would be just like Mata-Nui.... ooooohhh... and I'm sure you saved them." Cadias decided that it wouldn't be wise to talk any longer, for fear of his stomach betraying him.

  14. IC: (Cadias) Cadias could feel his stomach rebelling at the sight of the corpses, and the smell didn't help either. "Excuse me, Navayak, but I think something I ate earlier must have gone bad. I'm going to step outside into the breeze, where it's cooler. It may help." Cadias staggered out of the boat and stood gasping in the fresh air, trying to control his stomach.

  15. IC: (Cadias) "You have an.. interesting home, Navayak," said Cadias. "I'm sure it's quite nice." He thought for a moment. "I'm sure Vrana's sane, he just thinks a little differently from you." OOC: I've got the other profile pretty well typed up. Part of the reason I'm eager to get it done is because having one character is rather dull. Just not enough going on, you know? I'll probably have Aurix (the new character) meet with Navayak at some point if you're willing. I think it's too good of a chance to pass up.

  16. IC: (Cadias) "I quite agree," Cadias whispered back. And, just in case Navayak overheard them, he said out loud, "Didn't you say something about needing planks, Father Navayak?" OOC: I'm working on the Matoran's profile in Word. Who knows, being a nut might be fun. :P

  17. IC: (Cadias) Cadias listened, and came to the conclusion that Navayak was completely insane. "Flock, as in Rahi, or is your flock your followers?" "I'd be pleased to meet them," he added hastily. OOC: I'm already drawing up plans in my head for the crazy Matoran. It might be fun for Navayak to meet him, should I create him. =P

  18. IC: (Cadias) To his credit, Cadias managed to hide his shock. Barely."And a pleasure to meet you, Father Navayak. Cadias pasted a smile onto his face and shook the Skakdi's hand. "May I inquire as to who the Great Elder Ones are? I haven't been on this island long, and have yet to hear of them."

  19. IC: (Cadias) "How did you know?" Cadias grinned. "Although," he added somewhat ruefully, "I've had less than my full share of food. Makes you wonder where those Mata-Nui fanatics get enough food to hold 'em together." OOC: Ah, the trio is almost complete. =P I'll have to have more neutral characters in the future. Maybe even a semi-crazy one like Navayak. Except he'd be a Matoran.

  20. IC: (Cadias) "Oh. Still... odd, but better than killing it first."Then he chuckled a little. "Then again, I'm one to be talking about odd. Look at my armor and skin colors. That, and I'm not devoted to rescuing a Great Spirit that can't save himself." OOC: It's actually kind of fun to have a neutral character, and not being tied down by faction. Still need to get used to the new Cadias. Not too happy with the amazingly detailed character bio :P but I'll work more on it later.
